Seriously, that got me the feels. If they could pull that off in a Batman movie, I think the whole theater would be in tears.
There is no character interaction more fascinating for Batman than the ones he has with Bruce Wayne.
My head canon is that Batman has a yellow lantern ring he keeps under lock and key.
It's assigned to him, so it just sits there waiting for him to put it on.
It would be neat if he overthrew Sinestro and turned the Yellow Lanterns into a force that made criminals fear instead of those that are good. Plus, Batman and Green Lantern (Hal) have never quite seen eye-to-eye yet worked together because of their common goal of justice so it'd be interesting to see whether they'd be able to meet somewhere in the middle despite their differences or become enemies.

This humane side of Batman reminds me of the episode of Young Justice where the league is deciding on new members and Robin & Shazam are brought up. Wonder Woman gets on Bruce about him fighting crime at 9 so he could end up like Batman, but he responded "So that he wouldn't."
Batman really is one of the best written characters in fiction 🦇
The most OVERUSED annoying character. There's soooooo many more cool and amazing characters out there but NOPE rich white boy gotta be able to MAGICALLY beat superheroes and take shots from them. I used to love Batman but he's gotten EXTREMELY annoying over the years.

Check the comic sales charts DC is just Batman related comics and like 2 Flash comics I think that might be gone out the top 50 by now though.
@@letsgetdoing If he can't magically beat those superheroes and take shots from them then he may as well hang up the halloween costume and just be another cop like Bullock once said.
The whole point of him being able to do those things is to showcase his mental prowess, something a lot of you have seemed to forgotten as one of his many traits. It's his ability to figure out the most impossible situations that no average human can figure out that sets him apart from other humans.
Maybe you and many like you prefer the Batman that chases other cosplayers and stops them from robbing banks or go around solving "clues" like a cheap Sherlock Holmes facsimile every comic issue but I want something more creative. What obnoxious tricks can the writers pull that best use the ''less than superhuman" abilities Batman has and makes you think: "Dam! never thought about that!!"?

I think that "inhuman" aspect of Batman could also potentially apply to most, if not all of the heroes of DC, who at times have felt less like people than they have like aspects. I think it's also one of the biggest struggles for DC characters being in the movies; not because of the terrible writing that has plagued at least a handful of those movies, but because of the difficulty of attempting to humanize those characters in a way that doesn't make them feel underwhelming. Comparing that to the MCU, where Marvel characters are typically more humanized almost right out of the gate, the DCEU definitely has always had a higher mountain to climb in that regard.

These tie ins are so cool, but I can't help but wonder where Sinestro is? With all this fear, the yellow lanterns would be supercharged. Hell, Parallax could probably re-manifest at this point. Hell, this would the perfect way to bring Necrom back in. The Black Lanterns would fit perfectly in this setting.
I like that we get to see Bruce Wayne Batman interact with a version of his past self, accepting he can overcome his nightmares and by making sure that no one would ever experience tragedies like him. It reminds me of Detective Comics 500 (To Kill a Legend) where Earth-One/New Earth/Prime Earth Bruce and Dick Grayson traveled to pre-Crisis Earth-Five to prevent his counterpart from having his parents killed, resulting in that world’s Bruce Wayne becoming Batman because of curiosity, mystery, and adventure.
For the Green Arrow back up, it is interesting that Roy’s nightmare involves losing precious memories with his daughter Lian. I assume that he and Lian would overcome this and spend as much time as can after all of this.
Batman is ALWAYS becoming another Powered Being (Superman, a Lantern, Flash...)
But NO ONE becomes Batman...😂

how has there not been a story arc where Batman and his family are? at least temporarily, it gets some kind of magical demonic shadow powers.
Give him an Umbrankentic Vemon Suit turned dark Phenoix like story arc where he and the Batfamily all gain shadow powers and have to deal with Demonic Charged verisons of his Rouges Gallery. ( After like a year, things will go bad. When this family of vampires paraniod control freaks tendencies get the better of them) and mister Dark knight becomes a Dark Lord or Dark Dragon

You have characters like the Shade, Obsidian, Raven nightshade, etc. He'll his close fired with reality warper Zatanna and the So in Law of the Mystical immortal Leader of the League of Shadows, Ra's al Ghul.
No super strength or flight, Just Constructs( weapons, suits, etc.), Teleportation (already does), Empathy( Emotional Darkness Manipulation), Shadow body ( physucls damage immunity, You can knock him around and beat him up at him pull himself back together), Sunlight Absorption (no vampire, the power works during the day, and gives the BatFam V Superfam fight some legs)
You can put it back in the box when it's over.
(Or not, Bruce You hasn't even really written like a normal person any more anyway)

Nice that in an event like this that we get to see Bruce's greatest fear. The greatest question is like a few times before we have seen Batman tell himself that he wont be like he has been and let others help more than they have in the past and his character will always go back to default. Will this be the moment that Bruce allows himself to be happy FOR ONCE!

Batman's biggest fear sounds a lot similar to Thor's fear of being unworthy of Mjolnir during Jason Aaron's run with Gorr. Which later on informs why was Nick Fury was able to make him Unworthy of mjolnir towards the end of original sin. (spoilers😂)

I'm pretty sure the very first iteration of Batman had a gun, to my knowledge that went away along with Superman only being able to leap tall buildings rather then fly though, a holdover from a tougher age before guns became so controversial

I swear...Batman has done it all! I just love the whole character of who he is and also of who he's not. Sometimes we forget that he is still just a normal human being...a man...no super powers...just Bruce Wayne...yet BATMAN puts fear in the best ovum! He don't play! ❤
Well to add to the dream theory Bruce's consciousness did connect to all the other Batman he met across the multiverse and vise versa so maybe that includes memories too.

I do wonder for comic book writers specifically how far reaching the Batman mythos permeates and influences things in their writing. Also Batman interacting with Bruce Wayne is really wholesome.

What amazes me is someone mind came up with this Especially the ending
This is one of the best Batman moments ever
It's a good moment because who hasn't wondered ... at some point, "How would [person-x /self] feel about the person I have become? How would they feel about the life I chose? Would they be proud, or would they be ashamed of my weakest moment, my lowest point? We have all had that one person, be it a parent or mentor, a little kid that wanted to grow up to be a fire fighting t-rex, and life's detours don't always lead us to the destination we had in mind. I'm neither a firefighter NOR a T-Rex! ... my 4 year old self would be so disappointed! I didn't get superpowers, but I'd argue that what I have gotten so far is worth the journey and detours that led me here.

Funny how lasurous planet was basically a bruce and damian story and now knight terrors also has bruce and damian being major players in it
Think this really has a connection to the Sandman or Dr. Destiny, and possibly Dreamer origins, there was a different story arc to land of dreams and nightmares, including the Olympian god of dreams, which was touched on in Wonder Woman years ago, and Deadman has a couple connection to the Batman family one is Dick Grayson and his parents, and there's another Alred have a strange theory their related somehow? Despite this, I think this story will be a game changer?
Can we get the flash one next? Or the superman one?
