I have been working harder using the short round Apres extensions and shaping them into almond. I've been influenced. I just bought the short stiletto using your link. It should cut down on the time I spend shaping my nails! Thanks for all of the helpful tips!
Omg I thought I was going crazy. I also felt like their prep bottles are not long lasting. I love Orly Gel tip primer for everything! It's the silver bottle with black top. I love gelish foundation to apply bcuz their brush tip is perfect to grab the right amount for Gel X and for Gel Manicures. Love your work !!!
Wow thanks for the part on filling the tips of the nails with top coat/gel! I just tried doing my nails for the first time and they’re beautiful but after a couple meals some food particles got inside! 😢 now I know what to do next time! Thank you!
Great video! So interesting to see that you don't put a coat of base coat on your nails before adding to the top -- I've always wondered why / whether that step is actually necessary.
This was very helpful and relaxing to watch. I’m going to try your technique in polishing my own nails. Last set I got so frustrated and went to the nail shop.
This set was so cute!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love doing apres on myself, these tips were so helpful, I’m definitely going to try enailcouture though, because I agree on what you said regarding the apres extend gel, the soak offs are too long & it’s extremely thick, I feel like I make a mess each time. I do have the stuff in the tube by enailcouture though, I need to use it more often.
Love this tutorial and your son! Thank you for posting! I am new to gel x. I do nail tips, dip with gel liquids and gel polish. So hoping this method is a bit quicker and lasts as long.
Good morning .thank you for that tutorial. Wow I learned a lot honey. I buy my ser like a month ago. But now watching u video I learn a lot . I did a lot mistakes 😪. But iam learning. Thank you so much 💓
I absolutely love the results! Never heard of a croc nail but I’ll have to try this. How long does it take you to do a full set of nails from beginning to end? It takes me soooo long 🥲 am I doing something wrong?
If you’re new that’s completely normal. When I do myself, it takes about 2 hours total. I usually do one hand then take a long break before starting the other lol. For a client, I can do a set in 1-1.5 hours. Practice practice! 😄
Hi! just found yo and started following! question, are you licensed? I'm looking to start my own thing up like this and would appreciate all the help and advice I could get.
Are these real apres off of Amazon? I’m just afraid of buying from Amazon thinking it’s legit, then when I go to Oder a refill of a certain size and it not matching.
Just found you and I just started really doing my own nails with the gelX method I would love to see a paint tutorial of the non dominant hand 😩 I’m struggling 💖💖💖💖💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽
The hair stylists I work with absolutely loveeee gel-x. However, the hairstylist I work with are very rough with their hands outside of work and never use gloves to protect their nails. It all depends on your willingness to protect them or not. Plus the length you get ♥️
I thought it was just me, the extend gel doesn’t last. My sets would pop off after a day. I do like the primer, I just use gellike base gel from amazon. I haven’t had issues with them popping off.
I have tiny nail beds and my favorites are the Unna Gella tips on Amazon. It’s like they were made for me! They have extras of the 7-8-9-10 sizes, which I need. They’re also pre-etched and super thin, I recommend them.
Your son helping you do your nails is too precious. Such a pretty set. I loved the blue shorties too lol
Lol your sons little hands helping you. That’s a lovely set! I’m going to start doing my own to save money! Thanks for the tut
What cutie pie helping his mama ❤
Happy Nail Supply in Morrow, GA may have the sanding blocks. They ship as well.
I have that same e file , what setting do you have it on when prepping the nails? 👀
I use the lowest speed possible. 3rpm! ♥️
I love how this was so slowly into the steps . Very helpful video 💕💕
Thank you! Glad I could help ♥️

Yes! I love the narrow stilettos. Makes it so much easier to turn into almond.
THAT IS SOOOO PRETTY!!!!!!!!! I LOOOOVE IT!!!
I’ll have to try those!
Loved the set, inspo for my next DIY set. Officially ditching polygel for Gel-X. Looks so much more easier and less complicated.
Yes! Poly gel is so difficult lol you’ll definitely like this so much more

Definitely not necessary! As long as the tip is buffed, the gel polish will grab onto it.
You should look into a gooseneck uv light (just incase you don’t have the adorable help!)
I need to! Lol one of these days
Beautiful! I have loved something new in our video

I’ve never tired any of enailcoutures other gels but I hear good things! Lmk how it goes!! ♥️
Just found your channel. I think the nails are beautiful also like how you explain and speak.
I’m so glad i found your page!!! Love your voice and how you explain everything 🎉❤ THANK YOU!
So pretty 😍 I’m allergic to acrylic..Is there anything else one can use instead for the texture? ❣️
you can use hard gel! It’s a little more tricky with a smoother texture but you can definitely get a similar effect! ♥️
Love this tutorial and your son! Thank you for posting! I am new to gel x. I do nail tips, dip with gel liquids and gel polish. So hoping this method is a bit quicker and lasts as long.
Just please a video about painting properly and how to fix the cuticle
Definitely a painting video 🫶🏽

What a sweet helper you have 😊
Can you use clear dip powder in place of the acrylic powder? These came out beautifully 🥰
Yep! Same thangggg 😍
What does the acrylic powder do ?
@@ljepotica6073 it creates the textured effect on the nail
Omg!! So gorgeous.. i love it!! I’m learning so much from you!! 😊
Yay!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I’ll have to do some cool art videos soon
Wow.. Haven't been using gel x too long, but I'll make sure to try Mia secret prep and prime if any issues occur
Wow these are so pretty also tysm for linking everything so helpful!!
I use model ones primer and dehydrator and my nail last 3-4 weeks
What's the difference from base gel and extension gel🤔
Not much at all!
Hi! just found yo and started following!
question, are you licensed? I'm looking to start my own thing up like this and would appreciate all the help and advice I could get.
Yes. I’m in California & a license is required
Loveeed the video!
You don't need to use builder gel on top of the tips? It works just fine start painting them? 😊
Nope! These aren’t regular plastic tips. They’re gel extensions 😊
Do you buy directly from enail or do you buy ur base gel from the Amazon seller?
Directly from enail. I buy the refill bottle. It’s about $100 but it last me over a year
If I need it quick, then Amazon
Thanks again for these videos. They are so helpful 🤗💚
This set looks so amazing I'm going to have to buy the base color & also stack up on my fall colors ❤️💅🏾 *new subbie!*
The base gel that u used is it a same normal base coat or different? Its can act as a glue?
It’s different but I’ve heard base coat works too 👀 not sure if it’s as strong. A rubber base coat would work great
Can u please tell me Which drill your using and how long u remember having it
This is the Melody Susie drill
Are these real apres off of Amazon? I’m just afraid of buying from Amazon thinking it’s legit, then when I go to Oder a refill of a certain size and it not matching.
I haven’t had an issue with buying their tips off Amazon. Just make sure it’s a legit seller before purchase
Can you use dip powder?
Good job! SO Pretty!
Just found you and I just started really doing my own nails with the gelX method
I would love to see a paint tutorial of the non dominant hand 😩 I’m struggling 💖💖💖💖💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽
Yes! I think I’m my most recent video I go over that a bit!
I start school in sept I am so excited but nervous!
Don’t be nervous! It’s the first step into your new career 😍😍😍 so excited for you!
Which Efile brand do you recommend?
I love melody susie
That’s actually all I’ve ever used. I’ve had 2 drills in 3 years.
Thank you!
Hello, what efile would you recommend for a diy’er beginner?
I would recommend investing in a good one if possible! Melody Susie is my fave
My finger nails are small; when I used to get them done and the tech would put tips on, they always laughed at using all the larger numbers haha.
Fight them!!! Lolol
How do the apres sets stand up for hair technitions.
The hair stylists I work with absolutely loveeee gel-x. However, the hairstylist I work with are very rough with their hands outside of work and never use gloves to protect their nails. It all depends on your willingness to protect them or not. Plus the length you get ♥️

What uv lamp are u using
Currently I use Makarrt wireless lamp
beautiful set
Where are you? I NEED you! ☮️🌸
Haha north San Diego! ♥️
They are so flimsy. I don’t understand how you get them to stay on for longer than one week.
What kind of tips are you using? Plastic tips are different from gel-x tips! Lmk if you have any questions ♥️
hi! what brand of gel x tips do you recommend for small nail beds? thank youuuuu
I only use apres tips! So any short size will probably be long on you 😄
I have tiny nail beds and my favorites are the Unna Gella tips on Amazon. It’s like they were made for me! They have extras of the 7-8-9-10 sizes, which I need. They’re also pre-etched and super thin, I recommend them.
