It is about time the badge toting psycho-thugs pay the price for their criminal acts. The same goes for ANY OTHER public servant including judges & prosecutors.

This should be the norm. If they are committing crimes against the citizens, then they should be arrested and prosecuted. You cant expect all of the politicians to not be above the law, neither police, doctors, priests, teachers....

Law enforcement agencies and 3rd party companies use technology that makes people drive in a reckless more ticketable manner, this tech also effects them and thats why these types of stories are getting more common.

Detroit trains there cadets for 6 months and I think they’re on probation after they graduate. I’m not condoning bad cops and I’m so glad we have cameras on our phones especially when the cops say they forgot to turn them on or turn them off when they want.

Also before they become a police officer they need to be investigated and even their background and how they grew up and if it's any mental issues emotional do they have self control issues all of this and more should be brought attention to yes they need psychological training on how would they deal with the situation before they even be put out on the their attitude toward the community and their family should be evaluated because everybody is not ment to protect other people like you say it should be a privilege so therefore they should have complete psychological spiritual emotional and mental evaluation they should not just focus on their physical abilities but also what should be taken into consideration it's not so much as your physical abilities but their emotional mental and spiritual should be completely searched out let it be a privilege buy different type of tests to test where they're at therefore you will be able to tell if they are truly fit for the job

Those only with integrity you're right and the only way that you will know that they have integrity is to test them to see where they're at like I say on a mental emotional to see if they are a balanced individual not just let anybody sign up and having searched them through and through to see if they mentally capable if not this will continue to progress if any person off the street sign up to be a police officer the public should be aware and feel comfortable because these men and has been strictly put through psychological mental and emotional evaluations beforehand

Had to come back because because I have another important comment to make I noticed the chief did not mention I wouldn't I wouldn't call them officers I will call them because they was just wearing that badge and when the chief made the comment he will conceal their names it is like he is covering up or protecting them and they are criminals not officers because real officers have integrity l so I don't understand I don't understand why would he protect the criminals names especially if they're not going to do any jail time but who knows who they are just because they got suspended from the police force doesn't mean they are not a threat to society but I know if he don't catch any criminals or don't know criminals exist he will not have i job just reading The energy he should have informed people who they were because now they're still on streets purely that makes no sense and no consideration of the public because the public should have been informed to who they are giving the criminals protection and covering over who they are is like saying I'm covering up for criminals and I do not want you to know their what kind of policing i this

I've experienced different officers in my lifetime that do not know how to handle situations in the proper way because of the way they talk to you sometimes talk to the victim like they have a problem emotionally so I say they have to really be put through some optical courses really live act it out obstacle courses that will really prove what they would do whether it's a dire situation or just a minor situation if not anybody can sign up they may have deep down buried issues and that is very dangerous for the public they need sound balanced police officers only way you would see this if they are thoroughly checked out with a mental emotional evaluation testing if not the authorities are allowing who knows until they flip the script

Yes just like you stated it is truly a privilege so it should not be something that anybody that come off the streets was not knowing anything about their life history or anyting about them it seems to me that it is not treated like a privilege because any ol body different l mental sicknesses that they do not have a clue about what they've been doing or what type of person they are it's not the criminals but the ones that makes the laws the ones that's higher up in the department that can enforce these policies and yes I think someone with that much privilege caring for the community making sure that they are safe should really earn that privilege this is why they should be evaluated in and out they should be tested and have classes on what they would do in different situations to see how they may act under certain type of maybe those situations better minor but very important in making a decision to protect and serve
