- The Xbox vr headset is finally coming. Microsoft officially announced their Xbox VR headset and even showed a first look of the headset itself. They will work together with meta to make the Xbox vr headset into a limited edition version based on the quest 3. On top of that meta also released some big new features for the quest 3 headset in their new software update.

Only if they are going to create some kind of ready player 1 games, or some sort of Sword art online, or .hack type worlds and experiences. Only way I would get one is if the games are playable in VR

@@kineticbongos yeah, on Quest 3 not 2, I've been so broke I haven't been able to repair my right hand controller which would cost me about $120

Sadly its just xbox themed. Also cloud gaming on quest sucks, because the controllers almost never work propwrly.
It depends on ur network my streaming doesn't lag or anything and the controller does not give me any controller lag so it might just be u
@@Jmster69 no, man. You're just one of the lucky ones. I have great wifi, it's not even lag. The app just doesn't work with the Xbox controller most of the time. I got it to work ONCE, and it was fun. But it has a bad rating on the app store for a reason.

Know what Microsoft is going to do is they’re gonna develop VR games, but they’re only gonna be able to be streamed through Game Pass on V more than likely quest three lineup because of the storage options you can’t download VR Xbox games without them taking up all the storage on a quest headset so one day that is gonna have to end up letting you have expandable storage or bigger cheaper options

I mean I want it.. I am 100% loving xbox, and I have two Quest 3s currently. I dont see point in getting two more to replace the ones I already have.. but I do like Xbox very much

They are NOT Open Sourcing it, they ARE opening the OS up to other manufacturers to install on their headsets. This ONLY benefits meta because they still make 30% on all game sales.
