Should be able to mod the stock fader and install it in the other fader slot and use it as a line fader for the vinyl allowing you to even out the volume with the Bluetooth signal
Great review! I got mine a month ago and added the JD fader as well. One thing Im not sure is about the posibility of using serato 7" vinyls with this one. What would i have to add in order to use these type of vinyls with the Spin?
Melvin Eugene The easiest way is to get the Thud Rumble/JD photon fader. Otherwise, if there’s a Serato mod for the handy trax, it probably similar, if not the same
I'd seen some setups that they use the Akai AMX as interface for serato. I tried the AMX with a turntable and it works fine but sometimes de response is not exact. By the other way, thanks for the review! now I'm thinking to future if I'll buy the numark pt01s or this one that it seems more comfortable at the hour of scratching
@@bilestrumentalsbriceno5757 thanks for your opinion. With either of the two you would have to add parts. Right now I'm in need of a stabilizer. The platter is fine but it still wobbles a bit and there isn't a specific stabilizer for the spin. I guess the platter by bihari would work the same but they are out of stock. As for using serato 7" I've seen it work with the mix fader through a lightning cable to an ipad but mostly with the pt01. The usb on the spin is specifically for recording so I'm not sure if it would work as good.
Hi! I have a question about the sound quality. Did you notice a subtle background squeak noise on your gramophone when it is turned on? I mean when the music isn't playing.
@@philosophy4242 they’re both pretty good. You could do less mods with the STX. It’s great out of the box but 12” records don’t clear it, so if you’re also looking for a portable you can dig with, the STX is a no go.
@@RyanFreshhh so I can use a power bank with a micro usb cord instead of the batteries? if so, do you recommend me using the batteries or the power bank?

You're a genius Soo! That would be dope!

Alchemix does require some soldering tho
If you get the Innofader Pro for the Reloop it includes extra wiring so you can use the OEM fader as a volume control

I haven't, but you might want to check if the belt has shifted under the platter.
Reloop Spin or Stanton stx

@@RyanFreshhh I got the Reloop spin
Hi bro thanks for the review, I want to ask do you think this is enough for sampling from 12inch record?
FAX yeah. Definitely, especially since it has a USB out. If you use it just for sampling, you wouldn’t need to mod it at all.
Ryan Fresh wow thanks for the reply brother! Then I think I will get this one, and maybe add some scratch to the song, appreciate bro!
Wow, you got batteries included inside the box.
Have both the spin it so much better.
Bonsai Hustle Studios same here. I don’t think I’ve touched my PT01 in months
Does anyone here know where to get the batteries ?

@@RyanFreshhh also another question, I’ve seen people use a power bank when using this player and I wanted to ask what’s the power bank used for?
@@lilkodak_1373 you could use a power bank in place of batteries. It’s powered by micro USB
