    I find it fascinating looking at what service plumbers use daily. I work primarily as a new construction plumber, my tool belt and buckets look quite different.

    I have done service, commercial, and construction plumbing for over 15 years and I always have been using the Milwaukee tool bag.
    No one ever questioned me about my plumbing skill.
    And if you are using a tool bag you have 2 free hands that you can carry things you need instead of one.

      Oh hi lance, great reply my friend,I like to think you tube is like a big melting pot of ideas,there is no right or wrong in how you work, yes I love my little metal tool box and in the video yes I did have a little rant about tool bags I’m afraid,there’s a couple of things going on here’s tho, at work we take the piss and have bants all day long and sometimes it’s a bit close to the bone, that’s with people iv known for years and years tho!, so in my videos I do the same,yes sometimes I’m opinionated and judgemental butttt it’s not serious really, I decided I didn’t want to do boring sit on the fence RUclips videos like 99% of all RUclips videos and that’s cost me in subscribers and viewers,hence only a third of 1 percent of viewers who view my channel subscribe,but hey I enjoy making my daft videos, that said in regards getting gear on site and having 2 spare hands to carry things that’s a very valid point and well said, if in anyway iv got you annoying I’m really sorry sir your a plumber so big love to all the plumbers with tool bags or tool box’s,thanks for watching and commenting your a star ⭐️

    You're right in saying the tool bags tended to be used by electricians initially. The bags have now been developed to accommodate larger plumber tools. Velocity Progear have a tool bag specifically designed for plumbers.

    • @UKTOOLTALK
      @UKTOOLTALK  4 года назад +2

      Oh hi friend thanks for reaching out, iv checked out the velocity range, it looks really good buuuuut they are still bags with pockets which don't get used, all the tools get chucked in the big bit of the bag most of the time, I think sparkys must have a more tidy ocd brain and manage to keep them bags tidy, well they only need a few screwdrivers 😉, us plumbers are a bit more chuck it all in a pile, well some of us, it is a personal preference thing of course and your opinion is as valued as mine my friend, keep on keeping on dude 🤘

    I bought one of these today! Really impressed, it’s got a good quality feel about it. Did you make those little blue and red compartments on the top tier?

    • @UKTOOLTALK
      @UKTOOLTALK  2 года назад

      So sorry for the late reply,honestly sometimes the comments don’t show up on my phone when they come in sometime hence the no reply,I feel dreadful anyway where did I get them little compartments mmmmm,my memory isn’t good but I think I had a old screw box with the little compartment for different size screws and I robbed them out of that, I think you can get theses little box’s online individually tho, in my opinion they are crucial to keeping the tool box bits and bobs tidy and easy to find,hope you find some, if not get back to me 🤟🤟

    What brand is that olive cutter?

    • @UKTOOLTALK
      @UKTOOLTALK  4 года назад +1

      Hi friend, sorry don't know what brand it is, I got it of a ebay site, it was only cheap say a tenner or so, thought it was going to be crap but its really been good!, I had to sharpen the cutting edges with a grinder and it struggles with those really thick brass olives and isn't long enough to cut off a 28mm olive but it's cool and gets a bit of use 🤘

      Good day Ernest hope you and your family are well, mmmmm great comment dude you get COMMENT OF THE WEEK! and get a 🌟, now then young man I'm guessing your from the states because we say reverse call rather that collect call and why would I need a gun in my tool box for said call, oh iv had a idea is collect call another name for getting money of someone why didn't pay there bill and need to persuade the said person with a fire arm!! 🤘🤘

    Bags unprofessional? Hahaha good one, Veto propac , velocity pro gear or even Milwaukee packout bag looks a hell of a lot more professional than your dollar store tool box plastered in stickers

    • @UKTOOLTALK
      @UKTOOLTALK  3 года назад +2

      Oh hi Tyler bit worried about you to be honest, so full of anger, so full of hate, I get it, you turn up on site or at a customers house with your back pack and everyone thinks your just back from school with your back pack full of your school books and homework, it must be frustrating for you to be not taken seriously!, I bet you wear shorts as well!!, don't worry kid you will grow up some day 😜, I love my tool box!! I guess that the dollar store is like our pound shop!, oh hey have you got audible?, if so check out Harry Hill live hooves tour, it's going to blow your mind!, love you ❤️

    love the videos but your wrong about the tool bag,best thing ever.easy to carry,doesn't mark customer doors etc,you know when you have left tools as pocket empty,saves an hour a day looking for tools,my veto still going 5 years down the line and looks pro.

      Hi friend thanks for the comments, yes it is horses for courses sort of deal, I did get on My high horse about toolboxes!!! (people of RUclips land, what is your favourite horse?, mine are as follows, no1 seabiscuit, no2 pegasis, no 3 warhorse) good point about marking doors tho, I took a massive chunk out of a customers architrave one day, oh lord what a shocker!!!
