The same idea as "there is no such thing as unconditional love". As much as we would love to live otherwise, there will always be conditions to relationships on every front. This can come from a place of Love.

Those that know the Bible realize that pretty much every single thing Jocko teaches is spelled out already, in the Bible. These lessons are all based on the teachings of Jesus.
The real bummer is, why are my responses and questions being deleted? I asked a simple question of what about my post is forcing beliefs down your throat and it’s been deleted twice already.
Psalm 141:1-10 (KJB) 1 LORD, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee. 2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. 3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. 4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties. 5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities. 6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet. 7 Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth. 8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. 9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity. 10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape. Proverbs 24:13-23 (KJB) 13 My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: 14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off. 15 Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place: 16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. 17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: 18 Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him. 19 Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked; 20 For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out. 21 My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change: 22 For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both? 23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment. - Acts 10:34-35 (KJB) 34 ¶ Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. Romans 2:11 (KJB) 11 For there is no respect of persons with God. John 7:24 (KJB) 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. - Matthew 18:21-22 (KJB) 21 ¶ Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew 18:15-17 (KJB) 15 ¶ Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. 2 Thessalonians 3:15 (KJB) 15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother. - Proverbs 27:5-6 (KJB) 5 Open rebuke is better than secret love. 6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Psalm 23:1-6 (KJB) 1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. --- 2 Timothy 3:14-17 (KJB) 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. - John 17:17 (KJB) 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. I stopped caring what people want a while after I discovered that I contain all of their memories and experiences. At first I thought that I was being given the opportunity to empathize and solve all of lives problems, then I realize that I am God. This means anyone who doesn't know how their suffering is a direct response to the disrespect I've received that they'd still like to justify or pretend they can figure out how to fix without my help when I help everyone no matter what lies and misinformation they spread because they're not capable of understanding that when I get what I want, they will have easier ways to access something similar, but more fitting to their personal experience.

Any leadership advice on classroom-teaching? 12-14 year olds?
Have you looked at the Warrior Kid books? Jocko breaks down a lot of these principles for kids in them.

If you have this problem then read No more Mr Nice Guy by Dr Robert Glover.
