- So many mid handicappers go wrong with Long irons, scoring irons and short irons. I see it every week when I teach mid handicap golfers and they are all struggling with their irons so much, and it's down to this! It's so frustrating to see as you can easily make big progress if you follow this and I want you to get hitting irons a lot quicker! Please follow this and you will see a lot of your frustrations end with irons. This method is PROVEN and I use this on my student in this video as you will see!

Alex,great video. Another swing method replicating the Jim Hardy philosophy. One thing I have never seen anyone talking about on You tube,,that is the right elbow staying UP as the right arm straightens coming down. Never want the right elbow leading which was Ben Hogans problem before He changed his swing in the early 1950's. Ray
For me, I have the ball back in my stance. I figured that out by trial and error. And with help from Alex. It finally occurred to me that my body is different from what I was seeing on RUclips, as the correct ball placement. So I’m adjusting my game to my swing. It’s made a great difference in my contact. Everytime I have my lightbulb moment is in the car when I'm going home after terrible round. So two days later I come back to the range, feeling that today is gonna be that day. Unfortunately it is not. But I keep on believing :)

Love your videos @AlexElliot, maybe a cable tie will provide a bit more accurate feedback than the pipe cleaner as it has a more rigid construction and less tendency to bend/move out of position throughout swing. Only a suggestion and not criticism👍🏽. Will definitely try myself and set camera to slow motion to capture my swing path and club face angle. Thanks

Alex, at 2:13 you mention putting the club two club widths left of the “cervix”, but you meant to say “sternum”. Only ladies have a cervix and has to do with childbirth. Otherwise very helpful.
No he doesn’t he said sternum 😂
He actually says 'centre'!
