Visited a few beaches too and did a day trip to Koh Lipe in Thailand and spent 5 hours there

There's nothing special there.. beside, the outside of the city is the real place you wanted to discover or see how's the Malay# (native) villages and their natures looks a like.. they're too friendly and kind with a tourist like us ... miss Malaysia again! Langkawi is a duty free island. Anything else is pricey. Alternatively, go visit Kota Kinabalu. They have stunning beaches islands mountain and cheap seafood

There are also good snorkeling places, a lot of beautiful coral, beautiful fish. I love LANGKAWI.My video can also let you know about China.
Perhentian is more to snorkeling or diving because its a Marine Park. Langkawi have 99 islands with a lot more to explore, like Marine Parks, islands, fishing villages, country side, rivers, caves, paddy field, rubber estates, jungles cable car etc
If you looking for a crystal clear water, and snorkeling spot, of course sipadan and redang are so much better. Langkawi is unique cz it has a lot to offer and a lot to explore....cable car, sky bridge, waterfall, eco forest, lakes, island hopping, night market and many more in one big island Langkawi

It was actually not that expensive I rented a scooter for 3 days and stayed at Villa Thai hostel, food was cheaper and activities were fun. I vote for Langkawi as must go place 👍. People are friendly and welcoming as well. Go for mangros and island hoping tour, jetty, 7 wonders water fall and sky bridge. More u can WhatsApp on 923009566366

Go to Pulau Perhentian or Redang or Pulau Sipadan, Langkawi is kind of overrated. I just got back from there. And trust me, I am Malaysian 😇

Langkawi is bit expensive then KL and other cities. I am going in mid September so would see how much the difference is.
