As a producer, you clearly hear the amount of work that went into this album, the production and mix is absolutely phenomenal! When you start talking about the "dynamics" I know you are legit AF! We could sit and pick through this songs dynamics for an hour, incredible song! \m/
I looooved your reaction to the solo as I feel exactly the same way! It's my fave solo of all Metallica songs. Dynamic! You hit the nail on the head brother!
Some people overlook the classical influences that Metallica has in their music. Some just think Metal is noise. I appreciate your input as a musical producer. You seemed to enjoy it. I have been a life long fan of Metallica 30+ years. It is worth a deep dive into all their music. You will not be disappointed.
First metal group got me hooked listened to the black album so many times probably my favorite album all time. Metal head for life. Love the reactions keep them coming.
One of my favorite Kirk Hammett solos. ❤ Nice. Thank you. P.S This is the first of "The Unforgiven" trilogy. All on different albums. And they all have their own sound.
I get that feeling during a mean metallica solo where you push on your headphones to hear the solo louder. Kirk Hammet is a genius with that wah-wah pedal. He uses 5 on stage apprently so he can have one ready at all different parts of the stage and never caught without one. :)
Jacksonville FL!!! The Unforgiven is one of my favorites! That bass was slapping my guy!! Stay safe EVERYONE!!! 💛✌😷 (This live is amazing, hard then that soft chorus..everyone just stops, VERY EFFECTIVE!) AMAZING!🤘
Jacksonville FL is in the house.... thanks so much for watching and your comment... yes we will do much more from that album also... peace and love to you and yours
First time when i heard this song,i was WOW!what an amazing song!specially the lyrics!it was love for the first sight!great reaction!if a wrote something wrong, sorry for that...im trying to learn much better!thanks for the reaction!!!
i think you have to hear some of the instrumentals they have, telling you a story with music and nothing else. The call of Ktulu ( you can hear it from the bass guitar) , Orion, Pulling teeth, To live is to die - all instrumentals...pls listen
@@TheMusicRecordingNetwork you got it man! I really enjoy your reactions! By the way, if you are interested in something different, try to react to O'Keefe Music Foundation's cover of "46 & Two" by Tool. Some amazing talented kids rocking out!
Great reaction!💯 I been listening to Metallica for 31+ yrs. I don't know the 2 newest albums. I'm sure they are great. My favorite band is Thrice. These guys are probably most important metal/rock group in past 35 yrs. They have been influence to grunge, nu metal, rock, pop bands, death metal ,modern country, street punk bands and everything in between I guarentee it.
Oooo THANKS!!!! My heart is colapsed now, i LOVE this song. Please can you react to HANGAR 18 of MEGADETH? IS a crazy song. Muchísimas gracias desde Mallorca España!!!!
On the old Metallica ballads, they would have clean sounding verses and bombastic choruses. It was kind of a conscious effort to reverse the formula, which IMHO, really brings out more interesting dynamics.
YO MY DOG THIS IS UR BOOOYYYY IAN WOOD FROM NC!!! I NEED U TO DO FEAR FACTORY FEAR FACTORY FEAR FACTORY THE SONG IS POWERSHIFTER!!! AND MESHUGGAH THE SONG IS DEMIURGE!!! HOOK IT UP MY MAN. I'M NEW TO THE CHANNEL AND I LIKE THE WAY U ROLE. I'M BORED AS HELL AT THE CRIB.
Toronto, Canada if you're going to react to Metallica and truly respect the talent that they are the only way to do it is Master of Puppets '89 from Seattle
They released a documentary with this album it shows the recording of the album. This solo took a long time to get right there is a scene where the producer has pushed kirk hammett so much to play it better, make it right and made him do so many takes that kirk hammett ends up getting so frustrated and angry that he picks up his guitar and just shreds through the solo and that was the take they used on the album.
No, Bob Rock had a different solo in mind and Lars tried to tell Bob it might take Kirk 6 months to learn it cause it wasn't his style. Then Lars and Kirk discuss doing it a different way. Bob gets aggravated and says ok Kirk impress me and Kirk goes for it and boy does he impress Bob. In the end Bob is so impressed he's kinda speechless. They end up using the solo Lars and Kirk had discussed and not the original Bob wanted them to use. That's the story, I've watched it hundreds of times.
Creeping Death is a classic from them, there's no official video. A heavy metal bible song... there are videos with lyrics or the 1991 Moscow live in front of 1 million people

The Unforgiven is a 3 part journey. Please make sure to check out Unforgiven 2 and Unforgiven 3. It will be worth it 🤟
The way that metallica transitions in a song is unique. They own that

There's no wah in this solo though... lol

Gotta do the trilogy unforgiven 2 and unforgiven 3
Exactly, most people stop at the first, second at most.
You have 2 listen to all 3. Unforgiven is 3 songs.
Personally I like Unforgiven 2 the best. But they are all great
This song is in reverse with a soft chorus and harder verses. Super creative I’m blown away by this song
And the unforgivin 2 is soft verses and hard chorus.
I got so happy when I saw you reacted to this man

My favorite Metallica song
Call of Ktulu, Orion, To Live is to Die. All absolute masterpiece instrumentals.
Call of ktulu is immense
i think you have to hear some of the instrumentals they have, telling you a story with music and nothing else. The call of Ktulu ( you can hear it from the bass guitar) , Orion, Pulling teeth, To live is to die - all instrumentals...pls listen
Starting with a slick bass line; I’m in. 🏴🇮🇪🤘
The solo does the same for me :) Best solo by Hammett in my opinion...btw you should react to Metallica - Halo on Fire off of their latest album
Personally unforgiven 3 is my favorite but they're all great. Just hearing this song gave me chills. Such a great trilogy.
I second that. Unforgiven 3 is truly great, and a great end of a great trilogy!
Thanks.... and thanks for watching.... peace and love

Unforgiven is a 3 part series, and it would be awesome if you checked it out in a marathon video or something. I'm from Tennessee, by the way.

when you ignore the video don´t tell you react the video! It´s a shame!
We all know the song, it's not about THAT reaction, but about the (reaction to the) message. Parts felt very cringey.....
Oh go away! I hate negative people when everyone else is having a great time!
Your avvy is cringy!
