Hi Evil King, Happy to read you enjoy the looks of this car :-) Appreciate the kind words on the video, Lou
Better than new! Excellent!
Nice :-)
Another Great Car Lou ! If the Gentleman actually is driving it, some easy Safety Improvements that can quickly be returned to O.E. for shows. Replace the running bulbs 1157's with Plasma Leds. They are much brighter than stock, draw less power, and screw into the sockets like stock but are much more Reliable than stock bulbs. They may make the difference between a Collision and a safe trip. I run them in all my Vehicles, even my Motorcycles.
Hi Max, Happy to read you think this car is great & thank you for sharing a tip too , Lou
Those HEMI's start up so good........love the red on red.

That Hemi idle is music to my ears...
:-)
You need to have a t-shirt of a muscle car with the hood up that says "Shall we?" 😁
Nice idea :-)
I would love to own the camaro. So beautiful
Hi Lance, Hope you're behind the wheel of the right car for you soon, Lou
Only thing better would be a 4 speed. Awesome car! Like the red shaker.
That would be nice :-)

The "shaker" scoops were matte black or body color, never argent Lou...just FYI
Hi Midnight Gambler, Thank you for viewing and sharing your knowledge, Lou
@@loucostabile argent is sort of a matte grey/silver, normally a fugly color when applied to the cars of that era, as in the grill surrounds so it's just as well
Except this example looks better by far then what the factory on its birthday
High praise for this restoration :-)
The greatest muscle car ever! You gotta like the shaker hood! Just bad to the bone!
Hi Joseph, High praise :-) Lou
Any 2019 Dodge V-8 will beat it....all noise.
💘 THIS BABY!
Nice :-)
Beautiful. 😃
Happy to read you enjoy the looks of this car :-)
Lou can you find the plum crazy 71 charger r/t cover car in mopar action it may have been 1996 ?
Hi Korie, Sounds like a great car, so if I find it, and the Care Takers around, I'll be sure to post it :-) Lou
@@loucostabile it is the most memorable car I know of, 2nd was a 70 or 71 cuda that had big tires & was jacked up in the back this was about 1984. I remember asking my mom what is that? I was about 7 years old.
That one unpainted screw on the data plate really bothers me, but the restoration is magnificent!
me too!
@@midnightgambler3718 I could see that from a mile away!
Hi Clark Griswold, Nice attention to details :-) Happy to read you enjoy this restoration, Lou
@Clark Griswold @Lou Costabile That and the paint chip on the data plate. It would take 5 minutes and a little touch up brush to make that perfect. 2500 hours..... what's 5 minutes more ? The Restoration and the Car are Truly Magnificent !!! My compliments to the Owner. Thanks for all your work Lou.
@@maxredman1015 OK
💫Happy❇️ 2020✨

Neat car!
Glad to read you enjoy this car.

I was in the car business for over forty years lou what the main problem was back then the cars were shipped to the dealers on open train rail cars and the paint was fairly fresh and rail dust would get embedded in the paint and if the dealers did not catch it it would create rust that problem has been eliminated today but not back then
Hi alton wren, Thank you for viewing and sharing your knowledge. Glad to read the problem was resolved, Lou
Last car my grandma touched before she got in a motercycle accident and died I'm planning on building it the way she wanted for her
Sorry to read this :-(
He even found Mopar Service Floor Mats...
:-)
The only bad thing about a 1970 barracuda and it was also true for the the Dodge Challenger and charger at least down here in South Texas you could go to a car dealership and brand new cars sitting on the lot you really look close at the bodies you could see little rust specks on them but they was beautiful cars
Come on!
Thanks for viewing and sharing your knowledge.
Notice there are no thumbs down.😎
Nice :-)
the woman in red and was that the real owner in the background i heard
Hi fox 6, Nice :-) Lou
My grandpa owns a barracuda not a hemi but it's got one green fender panel and the rest is black
Hi DripArt Music, Happy to read this car reminds you of your Grandpas car :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing. Hope you see many cars on this Channel you enjoy! Please Subscribe, and hit the "bell" so you can see all the cars when they are uploaded on this RUclips Channel, Lou

No this car is not subtle :-)
Galloping horses
:-)
DROOL DROOL!
Nice :-)
Automatic you can keep it.
Ok, I'll take it then......
when cars were bad a** !! now they are just straight a**. and i know carlisle penn anytime i see it. car even sounds like it has balls where todays weak cars sound like they have been casturated. This is one beautiful fish for sure.
That is FUNNY :-) Happy to read you enjoy this "Big Fish".
I'd like to run that one into a tree
:-0
Did his wife hand him the white gloves to clean the carbon off the rear no bumper after he "revved it up " like she did when he "cleaned the rubber off the rear quarters "? Ugh. Put back on the trailer princess.
Hi puterossputeross Bowelly, When you're putting rubber on the Quarter, I don't think that falls in the trailer queen catagory, Lou
Well it is driven and driven hard. Sounds like someone has issues, or just another hater.
