@@loucostabile It's true though... he wasn't into cars but I was swapping the headlights and changing oil and thawing out the motor with a blanket and drop light and learning to drive it starting at 10yrs old. Later, I had the FireBird and my friend had the 70 Challenger and another friend had the Sublime Cuda in my 2 1996 VHS vids man! We all had many cars, 69 Charger RT/SE, 68 RoadRunner, MAch 1 Mustang, 440 Coronet, 71 chevelle roller cam big bock ET racer, I had 5 FireBirds, a few Monte Carlos and a Dodge Demon... those were the days!
Nice video of an iconic Plymouth! This is the reason the current Charger is abysmal. Since Plymouth is no longer, I sort of get it, that Chrysler didn't want same style car as challenger, but still, no muscle car should have 4 doors. (Even with a hemi) Well done Ralph!
Ahh, but those were really sweet cars, too! The straight 6 Hemi was a lil monster :) Chrysler should revisit that engine design..there is rumors of a straight 6, around 3L with & without turbo & power ranging from like 300-450hp or thereabouts.
This is a nice, nice Cuda! I like the body 'shaker'..looks much better than the Argent color that you see..and it's a freaking Hemi no less. He's a lucky man Lou..Thnx again for a great find!
Goodday Lou, As soon as this pop up I needed my Hemi Cuda Fix. The Holy Grail, to be blessed to be in the presence of the Holy Grail & to go for a trashing. You are one lucky guy, I am so happy for you to get such an opportunity. Ralph is such a good sport to take you for a spin, it felt like I was there with you. 1970 Hemi Cuda, 4 speed, 4:10 arse end, Rallye Pack Gauge, centre console, dual mirrors, all the jewellery on the outside, woodgrain steering wheel, Pistol Grip Shifter. Say no more, love the car. Lou can I ask a favour, that Tom Hoover Hemi Tribute Sticker any chance you can grab 2 of them for me please, I would love to put them on my Hardtop as a tribute to the Godfather of the Hemi. I run a Hemi but a 6 cylinder Hemi. It would be greatly appreciated. Great video thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed it. Your number 1 Fan in Australia Louis Kats from Melbourne Australia ☺ 👍 ❤
Goodday Louis, Happy to get that "Hemi Fix" for you taken care of for today :-) Not sure I know where to get one of those stickers? I'll keep an eye out. Glad to read you thoroughly enjoy this video. Thank you for being my # 1 Fan in Australia, Lou
I agree with Rodger R, below! This made my day, too! It’s grey and rainy, here in SW Ontario, but I’m so inspired, I’m gonna go chirp the tires on my RAV4! (By trying to lock up the brakes)
Love the Cuda’s. These guys restore these bad boys with all the good stuff but for some reason of all these Cuda mods I have seen they never can seem to put a little grease on the door hinges. 😂
I found this online: One example with the Hemi engine and a stick shift is currently selling for a shade under half a million dollars on classiccars.com. The ultra-rare combination of Hemi powered convertible with a manual transmission sends the value of those examples into outer space. One of these 1971 Hemi Cuda convertibles smashed records in 2014 when it sold for a scarcely believable 3.5 million dollars.
Killer car mate looks and sounds great I’m not a fan of colour coated bumpers, the chrome just helps to break it up a bit,but hey a hemi cuda you can’t go wrong👍
Yep bucket list car. Make mine with power steering though. I have driven E bodies with 383s and 440s with manual steering, and they are not fun to parallel park. lol I imagine a Hemi car would be worse!
Hands down coolest most badassest machine ever made what a lucky dude.

Happy to read this is your "all time favourite vehicle in history" :-) WINNER!
Lou, HEMI Cuda! Enough said! AWESOME!! 🥳👍🏾😎🤟🏾🤴🏾
High praise Gmoney :-)
Well, my dad had a 77 Plymouth Volare' green wagon with the slant 6 that would one wheel peel down the gravel alley or on wet pavement if it was slightly uphill or turning right!!

Blessing For All !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Jeff, Thank you! Lou
Hi Pat, Happy to share this "iconic Plymouth!" with you :-) Lou
Got none of this in Australia back in the day.
Closest thing would be an R/T E38 Charger with the Hemi 6 and triple dual throat Webber’s.
Hi Peter, My pleasure sharing this one with you. Cheers, Lou
Ahh, but those were really sweet cars, too! The straight 6 Hemi was a lil monster :)
Chrysler should revisit that engine design..there is rumors of a straight 6, around 3L with & without turbo & power ranging from like 300-450hp or thereabouts.
1970 Cuda/Challenger is the best body!!
High praise for this body design :-)
Not a 440, but the HEMI! Awesome review of a powerful muscle!
Hi LITTLE, High praise for this review :-) Lou
Awesome video Lou, one of my new favorites from you.
High praise :-)
Wonderful cuda, built for thrashen.
Just the way we like it :-)
Always love anything from Chrysler Corporation. I've had mostly B-bodies but always admired the e-body cars like this.
Hi Chris, Happy to read you "Always love anything from Chrysler Corporation" :-) Lou
This is a nice, nice Cuda! I like the body 'shaker'..looks much better than the Argent color that you see..and it's a freaking Hemi no less. He's a lucky man Lou..Thnx again for a great find!
Hi David, Happy to read you enjoy this "nice, nice Cuda!" :-) You're welcome, Lou
Absolutely beautiful!
High praise :-)
Goodday Lou,
As soon as this pop up I needed my Hemi Cuda Fix.
Lou can I ask a favour, that
Tom Hoover Hemi Tribute Sticker any chance you can grab 2 of them for me please, I would love to put them on my Hardtop as a tribute to the Godfather of the Hemi.
I run a Hemi but a 6 cylinder Hemi.
It would be greatly appreciated.
Great video thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed it.
Your number 1 Fan in Australia
Louis Kats from Melbourne Australia ☺ 👍 ❤
Goodday Louis, Happy to get that "Hemi Fix" for you taken care of for today :-) Not sure I know where to get one of those stickers? I'll keep an eye out. Glad to read you thoroughly enjoy this video. Thank you for being my # 1 Fan in Australia, Lou
My 2nd favorite Mopar. My 1st is a 70 Challenger R/T, and they have to be a manual transmission with the pistol grip Hurst Shifter.
Hi John, Soooo close. Let's see what we can do in the future, Lou
Looking like you'll get to 100k subs soon! Keep on showing us these fine cars! Love it!
Hi MitchF150, Having 100K Subs would be nice. Glad to read you "Love it!" :-) Lou
Cool vintage memorabilia too!!
Nice to see the "trunk & treats" when they come with the car :-)
I agree with Rodger R, below! This made my day, too! It’s grey and rainy, here in SW Ontario, but I’m so inspired, I’m gonna go chirp the tires on my RAV4! (By trying to lock up the brakes)
Hi Cherry Picker Guitars, Hope your RAV4 lays a great patch of rubber down! Lou
Love the Cuda’s. These guys restore these bad boys with all the good stuff but for some reason of all these Cuda mods I have seen they never can seem to put a little grease on the door hinges. 😂
Happy to read you "Love the Cuda's" :-) Some grease would be a good idea on the door hinges.
Love this car a Mopar fan. Thanks Lou.
Happy to read you "Love this car" :-) You're welcome Ollie.
Hi Lou, Love your clips, in the UK! Greg.
HI Greg in the UK, Happy to read you're enjoying the clips with me :-) Glad you're along for the ride, Lou
What more could you ask out of a muscle car? Those were the days when Chrysler knew how to make cars! Thx Lou!
Hi Dave, This is a muscle car for sure :-) My pleasure sharing this one with you, and you're welcome, Lou
Really cool , it was sold in Daytona!!
Hi James, Thank you for viewing & sharing what you notice, Lou
Thank You for this great video!
You're welcome Bruce :-)
Beautiful
:-)
That video was great thanks lou 👍👍
You're welcome Matt :-)
Another great video made better with a ride. Thank you Lou. Isn't that Cuda worth an awful lot of money?
Hi Tom, Happy to get the ride for this video to share with you :-) You're welcome. I'm not sure what a car like this would sell for, Lou
@@loucostabile Well I just spent a couple well worth it hours watching your videos with Tom and other Cuda fanatics. Thanks Lou!
I found this online: One example with the Hemi engine and a stick shift is currently selling for a shade under half a million dollars on classiccars.com. The ultra-rare combination of Hemi powered convertible with a manual transmission sends the value of those examples into outer space. One of these 1971 Hemi Cuda convertibles smashed records in 2014 when it sold for a scarcely believable 3.5 million dollars.
awesome, let's go racing! i mean cruising lol thanx lou
Hi T. C. Happy to "go racing!" with you :-) You're welcome, Lou
Awesomeness.
High praise :-)
Wish I could like the video twice
Thank you Jimmy :-)
Killer car mate looks and sounds great I’m not a fan of colour coated bumpers, the chrome just helps to break it up a bit,but hey a hemi cuda you can’t go wrong👍
Hi Andrew H, Happy to read you enjoy this Hemi car :-) Lou
Ralph seemed very focused on his driving, giddy
Just the way we like it :-)
@@loucostabile Absolutely
Yep bucket list car. Make mine with power steering though. I have driven E bodies with 383s and 440s with manual steering, and they are not fun to parallel park. lol I imagine a Hemi car would be worse!
Hi Adam, "Yep bucket list car" Enough said. Lou
Awesomeness
CHEERS
God BLESS y'all
Hi Ed, High praise :-) Blessings received. God bless you too, Lou
Awesome Car!
Happy to share this one with you Dave :-)
