This era will never exist again, no one is capable of such music, they lack: voice, groove, charisma, simply everything!

@@nyzold Sorry, you are wrong and right at the same time. Listen to the violin : this is typically disco... but this is the funk side of disco called disco-funk (up to date in the early 80's, following the success of Chic). Delegation, Change and Dynasty were disco-funk bands too.

Are you the kind to put your heart on the line
Or one who stays out of reach
Cause unlike other guys I won't waste your time
I just wanna practice what I preach
Girl, love can be such a challenge
A game where there can be two winners
    Unlike any sport
    It depends on the prize
And knowing where the real thing lies
To make a long story short
Baby, I can make you feel good I can make you feel good
Let me lay this good love on you
Baby, I can make you feel good I can make you feel good
You can say I really want you
    Oh, it's so good
There's guys that offer you diamonds and pearls
Those are the ones without the need
Other guys say that they can give you the world
But a world of love is what you'll get from me
    Girl, those material things
Been born to me before the day I found you
    Now I truly believe
All the money in the world
Can't comfort you the way I wrap my arms around you
    And I'll always be there
Baby, I can make you feel good I can make you feel good
Let me lay this good love on you (Whoa? W hoa?)
Baby, I can make you feel good I can make you feel good
You can say I really want you
Let me make you feel goodI can make you feel good
Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh?
I can make you feel good I can make you feel good
Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh?
    Oh, it's good, oh, baby
    Oh, so good
Let me lay it on you, baby
    Oh, so good
Let me make you feel good
I can make you feel good
Let me make you feel good
I can make you feel good
Are you the kind to put your heart on the line
Or one who stays out of reach
Cause unlike other guys I won't waste your time
I just wanna practice what I preach

    Unlike any sport
    It depends on the prize
And knowing where the real thing lies
To make a long story short
Baby, I can make you feel good I can make you feel good
So forget about what he did wrong
Baby, I can make you feel good I can make you feel good
With a love that is, oh, so strong
I can make you feel good I can make you feel good
Won't you let me make you feel good I can make you feel good
Baby, I can make you feel good I can make you feel good

Admittedly it is a good tune but I really believe the reason why we hold a candle to this music is because our lives were soo much easier back then. We probably enjoyed life because we had more time, we were younger and worried less. So all these tunes stick with us because of that. Great tune though. I'm sure kids growing up in the 90s are looking back and doing the same. Shame the music in that era was shit. Happy memories ppl.

@@christophermiller7532 I think you misunderstood me. I agree that the classics are the GOAT for a reason. But it’s kind of like survivor bias, we conveniently forget about some of the absolute dross from that era.
Examples: The Wurzels, Mud, Showaddywadd, Shakin Stevens, Brotherhood of man and that’s just the stuff I haven’t been able to actively erase from my memory. There’s good stuff around now too. The difference is we’re comparing the best of the last 100 years to this year. Greta Van Fleet, Ed Sheeran, Drake, and loads more.
Good music is good music and you can’t discount nostalgia and the effect of music to be ‘fixed’ to your youth and therefore personally special. To quote the O’Jays I LOVE MUSIC ♥️

Howard .not many i can remember who can make my foot tap on the music that is male singer. The other exception being Stevie Wonder Phil Collins and few more. Ur other performance a night to remember -second time around -make that move -simply flawless. But this is the icing on the cake. What melody n music n tones changing from high to low, This perhaps to me is ur best which I enjoyed n of course dancing moves of the group. Thanks to you tube I could relive my teenage days of late 70s.

They had a really big year in 1982,scoring a trio of top 10 hits with this,A Night to Remember and There It Is,plus another one (the rather harder-edged Dead Giveaway) the following year. Jeffrey Daniels doing the moonwalk on Top of the Pops (it was to A Night to Remember,I think) before Michael Jackson became known as the ace exponent of it.
