I recently cam across the mini series "The White Queen". It tells the story of Jaquetta's daughter Elizabeth Woodville. In it the strength and family devotion shown by Jaquetta was at the forefront. Her careful guidance of her family into the royal atmosphere was a force to behold.

Ooohh Jacquetta of Luxembourg! Dowager Duchess of Bedford, Married hid squire, began a Dynasty, Her best and dearest friend Margaret of Anjou, her daughter marries "The Enemy" and becomes Queen in lieu of her BFF! It's like a Telenovela! I'm stunned her story is only recently being told because Out of all the 'mini plotlines' from the Cousin's War/War of the Roses apart from the disappearance of her grandsons and the rightful King from the Tower, Jacquetta's Story was unsung for ages. Lady Rivers. I ❤️ this video! Just *loved* it thank you for your hard work !

It's one thing to belong to a powerful family and another thing to know how to use that power. Jaquetta and her husband clearly had the intelligence needed to use that power for the benefit of the family. Thank you for telling her story.

An amazing story. 'A book about her I've read does not do her the justice she receives today. People prefer stories like "The She-Wolves of France" and placing strong women as evil in some way. But her light shines through it all. She was all about family.

Such an amazing woman. She had such amazing highs and amazing lows.
Restore the top of society yet her husband and her son were murdered. She was the mother of a queen that you was almost executed and yet she got through all this. He is quite the example of Grace Under Pressure

I watch many of your videos and have since the beginning and thought I caught your uploads as they came out, but I didn't see this one and I'm currently on a Jaquetta Of Luxembourg kick too! The mermaid aspect intrigues me to no end. I somehow, believe it to be at least a possibility, due to the enigma behind her descendants and herself, as well.
Thank you for this. As always, beautiful storytelling❣️💫
