Boston has finally finished the story.
I'm just glad i wasn't one of those hoop fans who wanted to see Tatum/JB get traded from the Celtics. I gotta admit one thing, sure, the whole dynasty/big 3 thing is over, but i can see the Celtics rewriting the meaning of "dynasty", and it's all thanks to their performances last night 💯🔥🏀
Or is it? The dynasty has just begun.

Always breaks my heart when I remember the video where he's crying while saying "They gave up on me" after scoring 81 freaking points. Truly underrated and underappreciated. I'm glad the Suns gave him another shot.
Those Jeff Green, Avery Bradley, Rondo and Brandon Bass days were fun to watch….at times

People don’t understand how clutch Paul Pierce was
He's underrated, but anyone outside of Boston will just say he was overhyped. He shut out Kobe in the 2008 Finals and people forget it.
He is one of the best clutch shooter in Celtics history behind Larry Bird.

@@DangerDyl_I miss timelord as well. Imagine how nasty he woulda became in an alternate world where he was immune to injuries… it really stifled his development. The way he was defending when fully healthy was ridiculous-and it was so many games where a crazy Rob Williams lob would shift the momentum.
I stand behind the take that he would be one of the top 10 centers in the league at this point if his legs weren’t made of glass /he never caught that bug.
I do hope marcus can come back at some point and win one with the Celtics with how much he means to this city and how much he’s sacrificed here on and off the court. While we’re at it, please brad sign IT and make up for what Danny did to him… we can afford to throw him one of those deep roster spots and it would mean so much to both Isaiah and the fans. I know It’s a pipe dream but come on .. 🙏
@@DangerDyl_ I miss alot of the guys honestly from Smart, I.T., Avery Bradley was always clutch for us, Jeff Green was alright for us but wasn't "the guy" even Olynik balled out for us in a game 7 vs the Wizards. So many memories 🔥

I wish one of the players gave a shout out to Marcus Smart. He's been the embodiment of what the Celtics were post KG and Pierce era. It's just sad to see him not win a ring with Boston. He's been with the Celtics during the good and bad times. Jrue Holiday instrumental to Boston's success but I just feel bad for Smart for missing out.
After all the heartbreaks, the "close, but no cigars", we are the 2024 NBA WORLD CHAMPIONS!!! And nobody can take that away from us!

Im from NZ, moved to the states two and half years ago and have never liked or watched basketball.
I watched one game with my husband before the playoffs.
It was the Celtics and I was completely awestruck with the team instantly, their dynamics of play is so unique and their coach Joe is such an amazing guy.
I quickly fell in love with basketball and the team, followed them religiously through the whole season to their win.
Celtics fan for life and congrats to their long overdue win!!

Those 25-57 Celtics was the first season I started supporting the Celtics. Seen this entire team grow to what they are today. What a privilege

I don't think brown at 28 in year 9 will get better....he has peaked body wise and mentally....tatum maybe can get a little better...they are at their peak as a duo next year for sure
I've been going through a lot in my life this yr and even almost committed suicide. I was in a dark place but The celtics winning made me see a light through a tunnel and I cried tears of joy when the team I've been supporting my whole life finally won in front of me before my very eyes. Life is worth living.

This should allow people to understand why they can't criticize the Celtics for beating injured teams. As you can see, so many of the Celtics chances to win the finals were stifled by heartbreaking injuries. It's finally time that we get luck on our side. And even then, KP barely played the entire postseason. We deserve this

Curses are not real. They did have an easy road. But, I believe they would have gone all the way regardless of the playoff competition.

Smart was the start of rebuild and IT carried the torch for as long as he could. We seen a lot of players come and go.
