The video was done by Todd MacFarlane, the comic artist who worked for Marvel on Spiderman. He left Marvel to start Image Comics and created Spawn. Todd also did the video for Korn - Freak On A Leash :)
His biggest feather in his hat is his creation, Spawn.
David Draiman is the singer. He has a background as a Jewish cantor. I think the term you are looking for about the "shouting" is belting
This is definitely one of the best covers disturbed has done, and I absolutely love this video, especially with everyone in it raising a fist up, paying homage to the album 10,000 fists

Yo! I was a huge Phil Collins/Genesis fan as a kid. I've said that they wrote some of the most gonzo, banger metal tracks ever. Nothing they wrote wouldn't sound amazing with a deep growling voice or screaming, and a heavy guitar. Love seeing this from you!

This song is TIMELESS! It applies just as much today as it did when Genesis first recorded it.
David Draiman is Jewish if that helps explain the imagery. With that in mind listen to "Never Again" its a really powerful song. "Innocence" is also a really powerful one but theres no music video for it

Lead singer is David Draiman. He is belting the lyrics. Many people say that he was asked, "Do you want the voice of an angel or the voice of a demon?" David's answer was "Yes".
He was classicly trained as a cantor and apparently continues with vocal coaching.

This song and cover especially hits hard for me since it was basically the theme song of Portland, OR for 100 nights.
Favorite cover of all time, I call it a "metal injection" for the style and it's a 20+ year old song
If I ever lose my faith is a great cover, and Hold on to Memories is a beautiful slow song to really show the range of the group.
In my humble opinion, Disturbed covers are way better than the original songs they do

absolutely fantastic cover by an absolutely fantastic band. they can be intense if you're new to the genre, but they are one of the best.

Great reaction, they aren't shy about calling out the evil and if you want more of that character (the savior) check out The Vengeful One. Disturbed made a rock version of Sound of Silence and it is awesome.

Enjoyed the reaction! This one's great, but your HAVE to react to Disturbed' " The Vengeful One" It's also a animated one, but it's even better than this one. It's their song, and it's about how the media corrupts. You will really appreciate the animation. It's one of those that, if you listen to the song by itself, you get the meaning, but listen to it while watching the video, and it changes the whole dynamic of the song. It's like telling someone about a sunrise, and then showing them an actual sunrise. Same thing, but a whole different experience. I REALLY hope you will do a reaction to it. ^.^
