She was a bit of a project to be honest.. all the drive train and suspension and brakes were thoroughly gone through. Seats are out of a different car as the originals were totally shot as the car had a leaking rear screen and the car had a inch of water in it when I got it. Manages to salvage the carpets tho. Only a few jobs left to do and that's mainly interior bits. Take a look through my channel there are a few vids on the Jag including its first drive on the road. If you like the channel subscribe as I normally post somthing at least once a week. Thanks.

@@NorfolkMancave I love the Series 1 interior with the tighter ribbing on the leather seats... nice to compare yours with the amazing Series II Daimler Double Six in white and black on Living with a Classic - do you know the channel ?

I do have a Gopro hero 3. But I hardly use it to be honest. I normally just use my phone as I fine it easier. As you may have noticed none of my vids are ever edited.. intend to get set up and just video what I want to get.. yes that Daimler is a joy to drive in every way.. glad you like it buddy.

Thanks for the fantastic drive in youre classic Daimler.
I love the dash fsr better than the series 11
& thanks for all the info about what youve been doing to her, which appears to be nothing really major just the ancillaries-radiator, watet pump
How many miles has she done?

To be honest she showing 80,000 odd. An old boy had it before me and for 6 years he never drive it. Just had a garage pick it up and MOT it for him and bring it back again. But no, stripped and cleaned carbs, full service, cooling system, pads all round, set of new headlights, bit of rot in the bottom of the doors. I did have to replace all the seats and some carpet and headliner tho and weld a section in drivers floor pan.
      Thanks for watching the videos.

Hi mate, just got a series 2 and the rad got shredded by the plastic fan exploding. The Subaru Impreza WRX aluminum rad option seems very interesting to me. Any idea where you bought it or how hard it was to fit in? What model year Subaru was the rad for? Cheers, Justin

Hi ya Justin. The rad I got was off ebay. Note were the outlets are. The small outlet to expansion tank is on the opposite side to original jag, but I just moved it over. Works a treat.
As for mounting it I took old Rad out and got a bit of 4x2 wood and held that in the bottom with screws through the original bolt holes. Take your top panel off and put rad in and mark on the wood were the locating pins are in the rad and drill hole. The new rad will then just sit on there. Put top panel back in and it will hold top of rad. Connect hoses up and it's done. It's very very easy. 40 mins it took me and I had never done it before. Here is a link to the rad I used. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152781573816
If you need any more help just ask.
