To do this, you have to type the command he put in, then use that product key for activation, it will show an error or not, restart your computer.
Dude, Microsoft accounts as the main way to connect the OS (and digital licences tied up to those accounts) happen only on Home versions of Windows, while Pro versions use local accounts. Maybe this feature only works on Home versions of Win11 and you're missing mention it. Or maybe by "digital licence" you're meaning OEM licences. If that's it, make it clear...

The product key is saved to your bios just press i dont have a product key and select the versjon of windows home or Pro and it will an activated copy of windows.
Where does it show? Could you provide me necessary steps
@@arprogames When you are re installing windows just click I don't have a product key select the version of windows you are running and when you have installed windows it's going to activate by itself. It's pulling the product key from you ssd and motherboard

@@M.Anas83 does this feature read OEM keys? Because I think my computer's is of OEM kinda, and perhaps they just read Retail licences.
@@M.Anas83 Another thing I realized rewatching the video is that he mentions digital licences tied up to Microsoft account as a posibility if the key is not shoed up. Microsoft account conected to the OS happens on Home versions of Windows, while Pro versions use local account to conect the OS. My Windows is a Pro version, and maybe this feature on this video only works on Home versions of Win11.

You don't need to do this just attach your windows to a Microsoft account and reinstall. Log into your account and done. No complicated powershell commands, no need to type a long string of digits.

You don’t need your windows product key if you’re reinstalling windows 10 or windows 11. It is matched to your motherboard. If this guy was a real Tech, he would know that.
I think only if it's a OEM licence. With a Retail one, I think you need to re enter it when reinstalling.

How you get there
@syyno8910 on which branded system like hp or dell, lenovo, etc with windows preinstalled did you ever need to insert a serial number when cleaninstalling windows. it is hard coded in the slic table , a specific uefi part where oem manufacturers can insert a certificate wich is a placeholder for the actual key if you have uefi dump programs from that dump you can extract the slic table and merge in to systems that doesn't have it but it is quite hard forva noob without to check in to wich memory segments laces each uefi the slic tables cause it diffrent from board to board 😉

@@RaulAlizada You just needed to edit "ei.cfg" on the installation media to bypass the key requirement if you have a store bought computer with a bios embedded 8.1 key. Once edited and the installation media is booted, It will allow you to skip the key input...
