I'm pretty sure the Camaro would have won from a 20-30 roll. Mustang owners love a 60 roll because that's when they are in the power band. The slower the roll, the more it'll favor the Camaro. The higher the speed ( especially 60 and above favors the Mustang high-rev, low torque engine.). Mustang owners know this. It's a shame that must Camaro owners don't.

Good runs. Are those the fr22 z06 replica wheels on the back of the camaro? If so those things are heavy as hell and definitely hurting the camaro from a roll. I think they weigh like 35 pounds each or something and since its rotational weight it matters much more then static weight. He needs to ditch those things for some drag stars or something.

The one difference nobody talks about is how much torque management is in the 2020 LT1 that can’t be tuned out yet. The mustang when in track mode has virtually no torque management. That is the difference. You could hear it when he took of to show off his exhaust. There are huge gaps in between shifts because of it. GM has been terrible about opening up the parameters so it can be tuned properly.
Drag mode has no torque management.

it’s the same trans. but I’m assuming the mustang has a better tune. that’s the only explanation that makes since.

A trans tune really dosent make a difference in a 10 speed transmission, they were made for the 6 speed auto’s and the 8 speed auto transmissions to shift much more aggressive but these 10 speeds are already aggressive to star with m

But yea if you want to race your car aggressively a transmission tune is probably better
