Thanks for sharing! I have the TL18 but have never used that foot. I sure will next time I do a binding. Love your videos, I've learned so much from you!!
I used the compensating foot on a request from my neighbor. She wanted to hem her shorts but she likes to have a cuff so she turned the fabric up and I used the compensating foot on the right side of the fabric and it was absolutely perfect. it was so easy to get a straight line or should I say from the edge of the cuff to the stitching. It was absolutely perfect. No sense spending this amount of money on a machine that can provide professional results if you don’t also get the accessories to make those professional results . Sidenote… The wonder clips are designed so that the flat side of the clip runs along the bottom so that it will slide across your machine easier and in this video she had the binder clips upside down . My request would be showing us a video on how to achieve different widths of binding where the stitching does not show when we are sewing it to the backside. I have tried and I’m pretty good at math and I still can’t quite get it right. I’ll mention this in the Facebook group or maybe I’ll just call the fabric shop lol . Most likely one tip would be to either use your serger to compress the edges or even people who have a computerized machine to use the overcast stitch to compress the edges. Of course, people with a computerized machine probably are not watching this video. 🤪🤪
@@marionbartley214 the TL-18 can be a little bit intimidating at first. But this channel has so many videos. Eventually it becomes second nature But it is a little tricky to adjust the tension when you’re working with certain types of fabrics or certain threads. Just be prepared to have a glass of wine before during and after
Oh too funny I didn’t see your other answer. You can always go back into your original post/comment and tap on the three right dots to the right of the message box and you can edit or delete your comment.
What # do you have the presser foot set for the right foot? I felt like all I did was fight with it and it “stalled” several times and sewed in place. 🤷♀️

THANK YOU for showing your viewers how to use the compensating “feet” because I NEVER understood what function they served on my Juki TL-18QVP!
No problem :)
I love using this for baby blankets. They get washed so often, I feel like it gives that much more stability. You guys are the bomb for anything Juki!
So glad I have these videos to help me know which foot to use, when.

You can use it to hem garments as well. It’s amazing.
I have not tried the compensating foot for attaching binding, but I will definitely try it now! Thanks so much!
Thank you! I appreciate all the information you provide. Ordered 2 feet today❤
Thanks for your support !!
Great video. You always present beautifully. Can I mention the gorgeous butterfly quilt on the wall? Pattern, please?
I don't think we carry it :/ I think its called fire fly by Elizabeth Hartman
I don’t hand sew either. I could have used that left compensating foot, for a quilt I just finished. I do have the 1/4” one.
Thank you so much for the content you have provided ❤
My pleasure 😊

Just wondering why a compensating foot is not available for the DX machines, like the DX7?
Could the right compensating foot also be useful for machine appliqué? The 1.5 mm?
Is there a compensation foot for the DX4000 QVP?
Love the fabric with the zipper - do you sell it?
We sell tons of fabric check it out here gigisfabricshop.live/collections/shop-all-fabric
