Wow! Thanks so much for explaining all the the different feet and their purpose! I need to make myself a cheat sheet so I can remember all of this information!!
The hinged 1/4” foot (last one) is by far my favorite, too. The foot with the guide is a “fat” 1/4”, the scant 1/4” is too scant for me and compensating foot I like to use on bags and a lot of thicknesses. It took me a while to locate the hinged 1/4” foot but it’s the most accurate 1/4” for me.
This is great information, thanks. On the throat plate there’s a 1/4” guide but it’s difficult to follow when I’m sewing fast. I need the hinged 1/4” for sure!
Hello Boki, i knew to push the bobbin in with my thumb , even tho i used the "door" To insert my bobbin, on a previous sewing machine. It's so much easier to take out or put in the bobbin. So just give a little push and listen for the click. Then you're all set to sew.
I would love to see you add the swing away sewing gauge to this list. I use it with the standard foot for a scant 1/4” foot/combo. I can sew fast with the help of the gauge (I don’t need to watch the edge of the foot). Swings away easily for HSTs, etc. Juki brand swing gauge is the best!
I like RUclips explant very clear and helpful just bought Judi TL2010q at first I have a problem on use the threading on this machine now you sure help I be able to do it now
Yes we carry it on our website! Here’s the link for the Teflon foot if you need it! jukijunkies.com/product/smooth-foot/ And here is the bobbin case: jukijunkies.com/product/tl-bobbin-case/
As a sewing aficionado, I come to sites like this for clues as to what I might do better. I might even decide to buy something. That means we need to skip the small talk between points and the fast talk when we finally get there. I like it when the speaker knows what points to make and does so slowly and clearly, as in s-l-o-w-l-y a-n-d c-l-e-a-r-l-y, p-l-e-a-s-e. It might mean going over things once or twice before posting. Some of your fans are a bit older... :)
I have a new dx4000qvp and would love to see any videos on that one. Navigating the pressure foot pressure, the integerated feed (when and when not to use it), switching out the throat plate to straight stitch, button holes, use of the MANY feet it came with!
For Janine, can you start a series on CP 2000 coverstitch machine? What threads do you sell for that one? I love my Juki after finding your website and your videos
To sum it up short the TL-2020 is the same as the TL-2010 but the 2020 has lots more accessories and a pretty platinum color. The Hd-9 is very similar to the TL-18 except the TL-18 has a micro lifter more accessories and much easier to FMQ on. However the HD-9 has a tad more power and is a lot bulkier and heavier.
Not that I know of I usually just place a sticker or maybe a white sharpie :) But if you want to get technical sand it down a little and get real metal high gloss white paint.
What is the difference between the 18 and the 2010? I'm trying to decide which machine to buy as I want to start free motion quilting. It will be for doing quilting table runners and bed quilts and I'm beyond excited to start! I just found your channel and can't believe I haven't seen it before. Have a wonderful day and God Bless!
The main difference is the micro lifter. Here is the video link for that :) ruclips.net/video/hnIgMi7j9yc/видео.html Here is a comparison chart link :) jukijunkies.com/wp-content/uploads/Tlcomparisonsheet.pdf
advise My sewing machine needs no design. I will design with pen on fabric and sew using free motton on sewing machine. There will be only two layers of cloth. One above and one below. So which is the best sewing machine in low budget
What was the name the last foot and the phone number, please? I think I need that foot to get a mor consistent quarter inch seam. How much is that foot?
I have been looking at the juke brand for over a year. Why do I hesitate, because the comments, reviews on the threader, the food pedal the bobbin that is just a few I have been reading. Why juki is having problems .. but my stupid cheap brother however cannot sew very good, but all the simple little features like auto-threader foot pedal and tension never have a problem. I need a more semi-industrial machine. Ugg frustrated.
Juki is a very reliable brand. Trust me we handle the warranty and the warranty problems have faded out very fast. They switched manufacturers a couple years ago and had some bad foot pedals out there. They’ve been all very smooth sailing since the issue was addressed. We make sure to take care of our customers as fast as possible should there be a warranty issue. :)
Posts show up on FB when people want advice/help. There is a learning curve with a semi-industrial machine. But so many people respond because so many people ❤️ their Jukies. Sewing on my TL2010 is pure pleasure!
That's partly generational, partly cultural, and largely fading out. Hats are no longer simply outerwear; they are part of outfits in modern street fashion. And, if "gentlemen" have to take their hats off, "everyone else" should too. Equal is equal. Anyway, I've seen an awful lot of guys take their hats off indoors whilst still being no kind of gentlemen. Don't judge a book by its cover.
The hinged 1/4 inch foot is a game changer. Probably my favorite video.

Very interesting video! Could you please make a comparision between Janome HD9 vs Juki TL 2010 and/or Juki TL 18QVP? Thank you!
I love this foot! My blocks turn out great!
PLEASE make a video detailing how to “install” the foot switch stopper on the foot control!!!
Will do if you email us sewingmachines411@gmail.com we can send you a quick video.
Thank you for this information. Very helpful.

Thank you for sharing the workings of this wonderful Machine. Bought my 2010q from you with numerous feet.

Thanks for the video! Placed an order for the last foot!

I was wondering about when to use the Juki Compensating feet. Thank you.
SUPER helpful! Thank y’all so much. 😍
Will they make another foot ,for Half square triangles so you can see the lines to sew on ???
I like RUclips explant very clear and helpful just bought Judi TL2010q at first I have a problem on use the threading on this machine now you sure help I be able to do it now

We will try better to do this in the future :)
FYI , you can change the play back speed if it’s too fast.

We will definitely be doing more in the future! There is a DX4000 video on our channel that’s like a get to know me over view of the machine :)
Also the NX7 video we have can apply to you as well because they share all the same programmable settings
For Janine, can you start a series on CP 2000 coverstitch machine? What threads do you sell for that one? I love my Juki after finding your website and your videos
I am a medium quilter and looking for a new machine but am sooo not sure what to get!!!

@@JukiJunkies do you carry both machines (2020 and hd9)?
@@kchart47 yes we carry both brands. Feel free to call us for an in depth explanation of differences. 813-661-9000
I have a bernina, but I would like to have a juki to piece quilts
I agree! Jukis are great call us anytime 813-661-9000
Would you use this foot to sew binding on quilts?
You can! For attaching
Does the TL 18, 2000, have a large bobbin?? I have a juki 2200 pro long arm in a table and love my juki
I scratched the bed of my machine....is there any touch up paint that you can recommend?
Not that I know of I usually just place a sticker or maybe a white sharpie :) But if you want to get technical sand it down a little and get real metal high gloss white paint.
Do you change tension depending on which foot you use?
Yes but not always
Is there a left compensating foot for the Juki 2010 tl that can be used to put on binding?
How are the standard and the hinged 1/4 foot different?
The standard presser foot isn't a true 1/4 foot. The hinged is the accurate 1/4 that most people want to achieve.
Have you heard of the TL 2300 sumato it’s here in europe
Yes, it’s basically a Juki TL18 with a different foot control, and some new perks.
@@JukiJunkies I live in Greece do you ship here. Thanks for your quick reply. The only down side is the feet not as many….🌹🌹🌹
@@bibbibibbi251 we don’t. I’m sorry.

Go Michaela! Go!☺️ Where's my stuff lol!
Please check the presser foot on the link and compare it to the one demonstrated as a scant 1/4” They are not the same.
Does anybody know the name of the quilt pattern in the background?
