It's for pushing small things into the cutting edge of the flat metal discs with the cutting holes. Sort of like the dowels that are used to feed a meat grinder, but for a closed food processor.

I was thinking maybe the blades were on upside down (because if you flipped then the cutting edge would be on the correct side) but looking at the product online, they have the blades in the same position as you do. Maybe the person who assembled this unit crossed some wires or something lol.
The blade definitely needed to be flipped , it's the only thing that would make sense in this situation. Unless the blade tool was manufactured backwards
Me and my wife have made monte cristo sandwiches; stuffed with classic fillings (Ham, Swiss, raspberry jam, Turkey). Dusted with powder sugar. Then we made cornmeal batter with andouille sausage and spinach; grilled cheese sandwiches; breakfast sandwiches; cornbread; cakes and brownies, in addition to waffles. You are only limited to your imagination. But we were in the process of moving and are garage burned down so we will have to order another one.
Tyler. We watch your videos all the time. We enjoy your work. But I have to say this is the first time we both said omg we want that waffle maker! AND the batter dispenser! Awesome products. Thanks for reviewing them!
I appreciate the effort that went into gathering a series of products that connected together into a single project. I want to fill a waffle with grilled cheese.
Tyler, you have the blades inserted upside down! Albeit a poor design from the manufacturer to allow them to fit, and the machine to function in both directions!
The food processor, maybe you have to flip the blade attachment? Can you flip it the other way so it spins right? Did charging it help the second blade cut the green onion?
On most plastic kitchen gadgets/appliances you have the `wash thoroughly before use` part. That's mostly not because of the plastic but the solvents used to clean it and antimicrobial substances they coat it with for long term storage so algae and mold won't develop on it over the months/years it spends in a warehouse. In EU importing products treated with a lot of those substances was banned 10-15 years ago (food-safe ones at first but now you won't even get a whiff like that on drills, angle grinders and other `industrial plastics`). You should always wash plastics intended for culinary use, even more if they give any scent. If that doesn't help, you shouldn't use them for cooking. Plastics should be inert, if you either smell or taste them, that means they're dissolving or they're coated with something that does.
The cooking hammer has a DC motor, it is defective as in, it was wired backward i would think.
