I've been using that pizza cooker for years and I have a few notes: 1) The cooking tray is NOT meant to be a cutting board. Your just going to scratch up your counter and the tray. Use the back of the pizza wheel or a wooden spoon or something to push it onto a cutting board and then cut/enjoy. 2) I found that using it to cook self-rising pizza sometimes doesn't let it rise fully. So with a Digorno like that I still stick in the oven, but it works great with a Red Barron or Tombstone pizzas. 3) Don't be afraid to play with the upper/lower settings. I like to use the lower element for the first 8 min or so and then go to like 10 on both upper and lower that way I still have a crispy crust with out scorching the dog snot out of the top of the pizza. Overall I love it and I don't have to heat up the whole house by using the oven.
You say you don't want to heat up the whole house by using the oven, but the thing is, if you use the oven for 20 mins you'll dump less heat into the house, because it's a closed box being heated for 20 mins, then cooling down by dissipating into your house. With this cooker thing, it's open, so I'd be willing to bet it uses way more electricity in 20 mins, therefore dumping way more heat into your house. When he removed the plate, the heating element was still glowing red hot after 20 mins, that means it was probably running full blast for the whole time, while with the oven once it reaches temperature it will only intermediately turn on to keep the temp high enough. That thing is probably great during the winter though.
@@markothevrba Good point. The elements on the Pizzazz do run at full blast for the duration of use whereas an oven will use its thermostat to maintain the temp. So the pizza cooker will dissipate heat into the kitchen (or garage). An interesting experiment would be to measure the energy consumption between the two as the oven is running on 220 amp as opposed to the cooker at 110 amp.

I just wrote this and then decided to read up on some comments. :)) Tyler, About the can crusher. WHY? but why are you squeezing the device so much? it doesn't have to go in one turn. just squeeze it softer and it will work. it's the same principle when cutting a copper pipe. you don't cut it in one spin. you have to spin it a couple of times and adjust the screw tension. Adjust your hand pressure to not crush the can.
I've used can toppers, but we never used them to prevent spills, it was always to prevent flies and what not from getting on the top of your cans when outside. I used to have a bacon cooker like that 20+ years ago! It made some of the best bacon. Although I think we did every other row & used skewers since we lost the plastic skewers. Strange that it's exactly the same as the old one. Guess it worked just fine. So no redesign needed.
I need that collapsible stool. I use a granny cart to carry my stuff & help me get around while riding the bus. Unfortunately I often end up sitting on the ground because there's no seats & due to fibromyalgia I can't stand long periods. Ive had one of those pizza cooler things you aren’t supposed to pop off the tray after it’s cooked it’s just meant to be removed for storage your supposed to slide whatever you cook on it onto a cutting board or plate It’s great for pizza rolls and burritos
23:40 funny thing is a regular can opener would work just fine for that. Just make sure you pierce the top and not the side so it doesn't cut you. I've done it a few times after putting cans in the freezer and taking them out before they completely freeze to make slushies. Quite enjoyable actually.

Yo Tyler, can you test wireless portable “waterproof” Bluetooth speakers, like the JBL Clip 4 or the Altec Lansing H2O lineup? Are they actually waterproof, and if so to what degree? I imagine an ultimate test of boiling hot water on a range top and multiple speakers tossed in, the speaker that lasts the longest gets the best recommendation 😈
I got my parents the JBL clip 3 for Christmas one year because they go out on the water a lot and they still use it they've had it floating in the water and everything
I have that same pizza cooker, it's advantage comes from the fact that you don't have to preheat the oven. Thus saving you overall prep + cook time. It produces the same results as an oven cooked pizza
22:26 you really don't need that much pressure to cut into it. Also apparently because craft beer tasters like to get the full experience with the aroma that you would otherwise not get through a tiny hole.
For the bacon wave, you are supposed to use the skewers to remove the bacon from the tray to keep it out of the grease. Once you have the bacon on the plate, is when you are supposed to remove them. Think of them as handles.
the reason i love tyler tube is the backyard science , like i feel we could drink a beer and test all this shit , like yeah bro ill help you put 420 pounds on that stool
I've been using these for like 20 years and they are awesome for all crust types including homemade pizzas and other snacks. The original was a bit better but newer ones work well. Work well for reheating wings.
Honestly, I want to buy that stool now. Knowing it will hold over 400lbs before failing makes me feel better about it. Also, shout-out to Tyler, still drinking Sam's Cola as a RUclipsr. 😂man is still humble.
I'm 350 lbs and mine has been holding my fat-ass for 2 years now. I keep it in my work bag for when jobs are taking longer than expected. It works great!
Them bottle tops are actually really handy to have when working outside or I am a welder so having them in my cans at work is nice also not all cans are the same I have noticed they fit better on some then others
I used to have a pair of them, the bottle style ones, worked great and had a positive snap when put on. Heck they were hard to remove. I used it when opening a can late at night and only wanted a little bit, kept the carbonation inside so I could finish it the next day. After several years of semi occasional use the plastic split when putting it on
The pizzazz one is actually amazing. Not just for pizzas but also reheating leftovers like fried food and wings. I've even warmed up a rack of precooked ribs on it. A++. Watch Franklin reviews for a better demo.
those pizzaz pizza cookers are amazing. I have one and its lasted years of frequent use. i cook pizzas, pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, taquitos, basically anything small and frozen and they always come out great. the fact that you can turn off only the top or the bottom is also great because i dont like real crispy crust so i can turn off the bottom while the top of the pizza keeps cooking. I highly recommend those things
When you think about the prices of an oven and the pizza cooker, I'd say the pizza cooker wins. Especially if youre a college student or maybe throwing a party and need several things cooked at once, and the oven is full.
From what i remember from the bottle like toppers, they're not really entirely meant for keeping the soda from spilling, they're really just for keeping bugs out of them, though, i will say, those compared to the ones we used to own, those seem more flimsy, ours were solid plastic and could probably handle knocks and drops better, but i'm unsure since i never did either of those when using them.
I saw someone else say something similar to this, but I use the can bottle style toppers all the time. I am diabetic and i have issues with low blood sigar at night, so when my glucose alarm goes off, it's easy to have a coke sitting there. The reason i got them is that sometimes i will be scrambling for it and knock it off. For a single fall and if you then open it to let the pressure out, they work great. I have no doubt that they would explode if you shook the can or knocked it over several times in a row.
I actually have one of those pizza ovens from like 20 years ago. Still works to this day. Mine says clearly on the back of the unit to cook first on lower only for 12 minutes, then dual for an additional 12. Edge to edge perfection every time. Edit: not gonna lie my old one seems way better made lol
I remember when these things first came out. Microwave manufacturers wanted to get people cooking in them. The one thing that I do remember is that the bacon tends not to shrink as much cause you have it pinned in there. Man, this makes me feel old to think I remember when microwaves and cooking gadgets started selling in stores.
FWIW, The purpose of the draft top can cutter is to enjoy the aroma of the beer. Like all the various kinds of beer glasses that try to enhance the flavor and experience with their shapes.
Your comment got me curious so I googled American bacon to English bacon. I was surprised. English bacon is quite larger than American. American is stripped while English is sliced almost like a ham steak.
The can toppers seems like this is a different quality. We can buy this here in the store and those are actually pretty good! We use it all the time, and those DO make the click that you'd expect.
7:26 I can tell you right away that the pizza oven... thing... actually works AMAZINGLY!!!! My dad had one when i was younger, and we used it all the time. It doesnt really save time, but if you only plan on eating 1 pizza, do it, it probably saves some electricity vs. using a full oven Edit: TBH If i didnt own a cat, who would surely mess with it/ burn himself on it, i'd totally own one. Double Edit: That's actually the same brand my dad had, Pizzazz
8:00 you arent supposed to use the metal tray to keep the food on... you are supposed to take the pizza off... with the cardboard pizza tray... just like if you were using a normal oven...
9:14 The reason it's in sections of 4 is because most pizzas (that I know of) recommend to cook in increments of 4 (or 2, which is in-between 4); ex. 10-12 minutes, 16-18 minutes, 18-22 minutes. All of these are either multiples of 4, or are a multiple of 2, which is pre marked, just not with a number
I have the pop can toppers. They aren't meant to prevent it from exploding. They are just there to have a top if you're walking around with them or you want to store it overnight.
The 'Draft Top' or whatever is such a frustrating design. It creates a problem, but doesn't even offer a good solution, yet it's also difficult to use. It's just like 'well this exists, deal with it'.

The soda popping over and over made me and my wife LOL literally. Thanks Tyler
me too lmao haha. Also I think these were made to leak on purpose to stop pressure from building up as you can see on the lid version of this. The moment he was blew off the bottle ones I wanted him to do the lid too and yeah that was the next thing haha
Would be great as a party game, shooting at a target or seeing who could explode it the farthest. But use sugar free if you want an easier clean up.
I got the pizzazz as a wedding gift. It works amazing for Jimmy Dean's breakfast sandwiches. I generally can't stand microwave breakfast foods but you can break it down and it completely changes the quality of them. I use it 2 or 3 mornings of the week.
lol when you whipped out the pizza cooker i was like " HEY i had one of those i loved that thing." same exact one i had and everything.
You need to read the instructions on the back of the pizza oven. I have one and it works great
Tyler not reading instructions surprises you? I guess you're new here, welcome to the channel!
Even if it does work, it's still frozen pizza. I don't see the benefit over an oven; especially, in summer when you don't want the heat in the room.
@@litigioussociety4249 this would probably be great for people that don't have an oven
@@litigioussociety4249 Using an oven in the summer still heats up the room, I cook nearly on the daily and I hate baking in the summer, but different strokes for different folks, Cheers
@@litigioussociety4249 actually the pizza oven thing would prob give off less over all heat due to preheating and having to just cook directly over filling a box full of heat
I used to have a bacon cooker like that 20+ years ago!
It made some of the best bacon. Although I think we did every other row & used skewers since we lost the plastic skewers.
Strange that it's exactly the same as the old one. Guess it worked just fine. So no redesign needed.
Draft top: there's a reason why it is meant for BEER cans. Beer cans are reinforced as they have far more carbonation than normal soda.
He could have also held the bottom of the can while doing it
He also turned the can the wrong way. Check out other videos on the Draft Top and they open the can easily.
I need that collapsible stool. I use a granny cart to carry my stuff & help me get around while riding the bus. Unfortunately I often end up sitting on the ground because there's no seats & due to fibromyalgia I can't stand long periods. A stool like this would just clip onto my cart perfectly & apparently it can more than handle my weight.
Seriously, I'm about to buy a few of them, they look awesome.
@@liesalllies I didn't get one for a year but I just found one on clearance for $12.97.
Those can toppers come in clutch when you are out camping in the sand dunes, so sand doesn't blow in your drink.
Or if you live in the country and flying insects are an unavoidable problem. I hate finding a knat in my drink.
@@DeagleGamesTV Wrong silent letter. Gnat. :)
that stool actually works great as a mini table for camping picnic bbq you get the gist. Collapsed it stays in my car for whenever. Secondary use is the stool for me.
I laughed so much when he got scared of the soda pop opening lol 😂
Oh the pop can tops are my favorite!! That was awesome watching the caps blow off just like you’d expect.
I used the pizza cooker quite a few times all throughout college, mostly on homemade pizzas (tortilla with tomato sauce and cheese and toppings) and it worked a treat! Super handy for small pizzas. It wasn't mine tho, my housemate brought it for all of us to use
I have one and use it often for cooked frozen foods like pizzas fish sticks fries chicken strips and nuggets and it cooks them all well
@@Jeff_Gibbs my friends and i all have them. i’m pretty sure we have about 5 in total and i use mine every time i make a pizza. more convenient than heating up an oven and tastes just as good
Oven cooked bacon is the best thing you'll ever need in bacon cooking
Put a low wire rack in a large oven tray, place the bacon across and cook it in a preheated oven for 8-9 minutes
Flip it and cook it for a further 4-5 and itll be perfectly crisp, evenly cooked and delicious
You have balls of steel. Stacking all those cinder blocks in open toed shoes is real iffy. Lmao
You got to be drunk rooting for the Steelers
Are we not going to talk about the bacon grease dripping out of the microwave @ 3:28? 😂 Tyler, it did NOT hold all the grease.
"Don't make me do MATH while I'm trying to cook FOOD!" 🤣🤣🤣 keep up the great work, Tyler. 😁
What great work are you talking about?
lol yeh.. then cuts pizzas up into 4 slices each... ha ha ha.
@@donteven5712 He takes his personal time to make videos that I, and others I'm sure, laugh at. I've been watching his experiments, tests, reviews, destruction, and wit for years. Aside from that, I am fairly certain there is nothing wrong with giving somebody praise and encouragement for a job well done. I laughed more than usual, ergo, I responded appropriately in my opinion. Have a good day. 😁
Ive had one of those pizza cooler things you aren’t supposed to pop off the tray after it’s cooked it’s just meant to be removed for storage your supposed to slide whatever you cook on it onto a cutting board or plate
It’s great for pizza rolls and burritos
Tyler: “I don’t know where fifteen is”
Also Tyler: Turns it to exactly 15
Looked more like 15 and a half XD
isnt 15 before 16 all be had to do was put it one notch before 16😂
@@kaitlynhorton2622 one notch before 16 would have been 14... the scale is by 4
@@Grunttamer 2, not 4
23:40 funny thing is a regular can opener would work just fine for that. Just make sure you pierce the top and not the side so it doesn't cut you. I've done it a few times after putting cans in the freezer and taking them out before they completely freeze to make slushies. Quite enjoyable actually.
Before I even watch this, my family has used the exact same "pizzazz" product for 10+ years. It works perfect every time. We've never had to replace it. 10/10
IDK I watched that pizza cooker reviewed many times and I still wanted it, waited till Amazon lowered the price and got it and I love it! Works for other stuff too
Yo Tyler, can you test wireless portable “waterproof” Bluetooth speakers, like the JBL Clip 4 or the Altec Lansing H2O lineup? Are they actually waterproof, and if so to what degree?
I imagine an ultimate test of boiling hot water on a range top and multiple speakers tossed in, the speaker that lasts the longest gets the best recommendation 😈
I got my parents the JBL clip 3 for Christmas one year because they go out on the water a lot and they still use it they've had it floating in the water and everything
Check out Dank Pods. He does stuff like that all the time.
I'm glad RUclips recommended me this guy, he has a very 'gracious' touch to the items he reviews.
3:35
Also my reaction when I see bacon
I have that same pizza cooker, it's advantage comes from the fact that you don't have to preheat the oven. Thus saving you overall prep + cook time. It produces the same results as an oven cooked pizza
Those tops popping off is one of the funniest things Ive seen in a while. I laugh-weezed
I have one of those Pizza ovens.. I love it! You can make all kinds of stuff on it. :)
22:26 you really don't need that much pressure to cut into it. Also apparently because craft beer tasters like to get the full experience with the aroma that you would otherwise not get through a tiny hole.
Yea but like he said just pour it into a cup
Love the socks with the “Gang Gang” slides 👌🏻
This man of the definition of having too much time on their hands and it’s glorious
The combo of sock, sandles, and shorts makes me realize how much this man NEEDS to get ton 1 million subscribers... great vids.
You are a Legend Taylor! 💪💪💪
For the bacon wave, you are supposed to use the skewers to remove the bacon from the tray to keep it out of the grease. Once you have the bacon on the plate, is when you are supposed to remove them. Think of them as handles.
Love the random item reviews, makes me want a hotdog real bad.
Lol I see what you did there
the reason i love tyler tube is the backyard science , like i feel we could drink a beer and test all this shit , like yeah bro ill help you put 420 pounds on that stool
"Alot of these pieces are just fat"
That's typically how bacon is, good marbling.
Lol this doesnt know anything about cooking
That's not marbling. Pork belly has a large fat cap but little intramuscular fat.
It’s steak that has marbling clown
I've been using these for like 20 years and they are awesome for all crust types including homemade pizzas and other snacks. The original was a bit better but newer ones work well. Work well for reheating wings.
Honestly, I want to buy that stool now. Knowing it will hold over 400lbs before failing makes me feel better about it.
Also, shout-out to Tyler, still drinking Sam's Cola as a RUclipsr. 😂man is still humble.
I have that stool. I love it.
Don't. It expoded under me 2 weekends ago, 193ibs
I'm 350 lbs and mine has been holding my fat-ass for 2 years now. I keep it in my work bag for when jobs are taking longer than expected. It works great!
Tyler: I don’t have hope for this.
Tyler 2 secs later: this might actually make it
Them bottle tops are actually really handy to have when working outside or I am a welder so having them in my cans at work is nice also not all cans are the same I have noticed they fit better on some then others
Pizza maker works great bro. Had one over 10 years ago and loved it. Worked awesome. Makes more than just pizza too
When you think about the prices of an oven and the pizza cooker, I'd say the pizza cooker wins. Especially if youre a college student or maybe throwing a party and need several things cooked at once, and the oven is full.
But an oven cooks so much more and has more room to cook lots at one time
@@AnderEvermore but an oven costs 500 dollars or more. The pizza cooker is a tenth of the price.
I was gonna make fun of Tyler about not liking the timer being in sections of four but, really, I agree with him. Counting in fives is a lot easier.
I want to see him count to 21😎😎😎😎😎
For the can opener, you hold it gently but firmly near the top and make sure you feel the blades engage with the metal
"There is litterally going to be Ant's everywhere in my garage"
Was anyone else's OSD slightly triggered that he didn't rearrange the pepperonis on the frozen pizza to be more evenly spread out?
No
No my on screen display was fine
FWIW, The purpose of the draft top can cutter is to enjoy the aroma of the beer. Like all the various kinds of beer glasses that try to enhance the flavor and experience with their shapes.
"i dont think this is any special bacon"
me being English seeing the biggest bacon slices ever
Your comment got me curious so I googled American bacon to English bacon. I was surprised. English bacon is quite larger than American. American is stripped while English is sliced almost like a ham steak.
@@chupacabra8479 In the UK we refer to the bacon you eat in America as streaky bacon.
The can toppers seems like this is a different quality. We can buy this here in the store and those are actually pretty good! We use it all the time, and those DO make the click that you'd expect.
Crunchy means a lack of moisture. Chewy means to much moisture. Technically, pizza dough is meant to be a bit chewy.
The whole time I was thinking “I hate crunchy pizza”. Lol.
Tyler is pretty clueless when it comes to foods etc. But he gives his honest opinion, which is interesting.
@@veridico84 how the man has made it through life still baffles me!
@@Noob0perator it baffles me as well...
Dude crunchy pizza is ass.
7:26 I can tell you right away that the pizza oven... thing... actually works AMAZINGLY!!!! My dad had one when i was younger, and we used it all the time. It doesnt really save time, but if you only plan on eating 1 pizza, do it, it probably saves some electricity vs. using a full oven
Edit: TBH If i didnt own a cat, who would surely mess with it/ burn himself on it, i'd totally own one.
Who doesn't rearrange pepperoni on their frozen pizzas before cooking them?
When he was stacking the cinder blocks I was thinking “it’s going to hit the house when it falls.” and it did, damaging the siding. 🤣
Same. As soon as it started leaning I said to myself “watch out Tyler, it’s gonna hit the side of your house.”
The rest of the grease is on your microwave walls. 😁👍
Hdyk??
I have the pop can toppers. They aren't meant to prevent it from exploding. They are just there to have a top if you're walking around with them or you want to store it overnight.
I'm a simple man. I see tylertube video, I click tylertube video
The 'Draft Top' or whatever is such a frustrating design. It creates a problem, but doesn't even offer a good solution, yet it's also difficult to use. It's just like 'well this exists, deal with it'.
Tyler hasn't done any glue strength tests in a long ass time... Time to beef up the setup!
