Mark! Thanks for showing my seagull bag and thank you so much for another great time sitting and crafting with you! I agree with one of the other comments - I learn so much listening to you share about everything. That is how my brain works (overtime!) anyway. Yes, I take my knitting everywhere too. Bags are part of the whole aesthetic - I want to have the yarn I love, the needles I love, the pattern I love, and the bag! Kinda OCD but hey. And the multi-Zip bag is really sweet.
Wishing you safe and happy travels, and the very best wishes for success in your competitions. I was trying to explain to a friend how much I learn from watching you, and all the things you share. For instance, the upcoming video on what you’re packing and how, in order to navigate the airports and countries. Thank you for all you share!
Both Karen and Paula’s bags are beautiful. I don’t know how they do it. That is a craft i would love to learn but, frankly, i can’t put my knitting and crochet down long enough for anything else, including cleaning my house. Lol 🤪
I don’t feel like bags need to be specific to crafting but I like bags to feel special. I also have weird things like a bag I use for mini skein projects because I did that twice so now that’s what it’s for.
Another great video. Thank you! I love the new bags. So happy you shared them. Enjoy your Europe trip. If you make it to Vienna, please let me know. I’d love to meet up with you both! Thomas
I’m sure you’ve seen Stephen West has come out with some new bags. The nice leather bags that you got, well now have a shoulder strap. They’re coming out in September and I’m going to get one.
I work in a toxic work environment. (Yes, I’m looking for something else.) I watch your videos to calm me. It’s a pleasant distraction from the chaos. So thank you!!!
Oh my. That zippers bag is sooo unique! I hope your area didn’t get the horrible storms over the past 2-4 days. My area (I’m on the border of PA & NY midway across) is a valley in between 2 rivers and the storms just seemed to split and went north and south of us. Have lots of fun on your trip and please share some video or pictures once you’re home.
Like you and many, many knitters I have knitting with me ALL the time. I have evolved to having three transportation projects always on the go, each of which lives in its own small, cloth, zippered, squishable project bag: a requires-no-thinking project that lives in my car (along with lots of reading material). That way, as you mentioned, if I get caught in traffic or road construction, I can make productive use of the time. I have another requires-no-thinking project that I take with my on flights. It gets my undivided attention on the shuttle to the airport, at the airport, and on board, coming and going. And because I fly about six times a year, that project actually gets quite a bit of attention (in fact, I've completed two airport projects and am working my way through number three). Finally, I have yet another requires-no-thinking project that lives at my daughter's house (1,000 miles from me) and that, too, gets quite a bit of attention while I'm visiting her. And again, I've completed two projects that live with my daughter (they were for her, of course) and am working on a third. This routine is fun because it means I never get bored with any of the transportation projects and quite look forward to getting my hands on them when the opportunity presents itself. These projects also provide a nice break from the complex projects that live at home with me. It's a good balance, for me, at this stage of my knitting life. And by the way, at home, my complex projects live in random plastic and paper bags. 🙂
That is the cutest ever bag Mark!! I love it!! You are such a delight for me. I always enjoy your videos. I don’t knit but I’m new at crochet. Even at that, I always find your videos informative and calming to watch and listen to. With all the other channels trying to entertain, you bring forth your information with that calm and happy spirit. Thank you for that. I can’t wait to see your videos from England!! Safe travels to you and hubby. ❤️❤️
Have you seen the knitpro doctor bag. It’s amazing and fits soooooo much in I have a few of the snug colour way (purple tweed almost) the dr bah was just in grey originally with a floral strap but now they have bought out one in the purple and the bee version sooooooo think I need it 😂
So glad to have discovered your channel! I'm knitting and listening to your vids, I did want to ask if you heard about Toyo Steel? It's a Japanese company that makes a tool box, they do have sort of a caboodle style box and they are all metal. I haven't purchased one but it's on my list for my art supplies and sewing notions.
AAAAAHHHHHH! Kaboodle!!!!! I still have 3 from the 80s haha! I keep my embroidery and other needle craft supplies in them. I have one in my garage that has all my plant seeds in it. Too funny!
The seagulls! 🥰. I have bought 2 spinning loft bags after seeing them on your channel. I was lucky that the bag with the hikers on it you showed was available and I got it. I would buy this bag in a heartbeat.
Love the sea gulls! If you like hearing from us, I wish you would respond to our comments with a heart. ❤ Have a great trip. I've lived in the UK several times while I was in the Air Force. I loved it there. I wish I could go back again.
I really love your channel (and not just because I won one of your giveaways lol. I'm working with one of the yarns rn btw!). I always work on my projects while listening to you talk about the craft - it's so great!
The cats looking at you from the inside TOTALLY make this bag!

Oh my gosh! I’m not the only one who takes my knitting to the grocery store! I ever go anywhere without my knitting!
Have the same “bag” addiction - and also, love things in dedicated bags - great bags and nice gifts !!💕

The cat eyes peering out from the inside of that bag are so funny to me! Delightful!
Love the seagulls. On my screen it looks gray. How nice to have such lovely thoughtful friends.
So cute ! Love them.
Me too!!
Wishing you safe easy travels Mark! Hope you have the most amazing time here in the UK xxx Pippa x
I still have my original caboodle. Must be at least 20 or so yrs old. They were made so much better back then.
Both Karen and Paula’s bags are beautiful. I don’t know how they do it. That is a craft i would love to learn but, frankly, i can’t put my knitting and crochet down long enough for anything else, including cleaning my house. Lol 🤪
I go to thrift stores and get makeup bags for sock project bags. I also looks at purses for larger projects.
And I looooove the multi zipper bag, those cats on the lining are adorable!❤

...and, Seaglass in the seagulls this fall!

I live in fl😢so I always carry water and knitting. The traffic is backed up a lot because of tourists all year.
