Waiting for the NHT-300 to arrive in South Africa. I currently have the NHT-200. Wouldn't mind feeling how the 300 rides.
It rides the same just more power and torque but the frame is the same :)
How are the plastics?
@@vga1232 the same as on the 125 and 200 models, decent plastics they don't rattle.

@@trrrmac as reliable as the scooters and my personal scooter is at 41.000km without issues.
I have the 200 but my unit came with so many issues. First, It was leaking oil from the gear selector as soon as I got it from the dealer. The handlebars were off centre and felt out of alignment with the front tyre but the worst was, the drive sprocket would pop out on the move, Very scary. I have resolved all those issues now and we kissed and made up. Other than that, I love my bike and would buy the 300 once it comes to South Africa (am in Malawi). Works great at the price point.
No one is perfect, but as long as they honor their warranty I see no foul with any manufacturer.

I always enyjoy your videos Alex. I have been hearing a lot about the NHT 300. My local sym dealer was trying to talk me into purchasing it because we have discussed my moving up from a 125cc to a 300cc, I can maybe go on trips with it. This way I am going to trade my Jet X soon and get a 300cc. Butttt... it will not be the NHT because I still need to deal with downtown traffic and narrow streets. I had two obvious choices: the SYM HD300 or the SYM Joyride 300 16 and I chose the Joyride in a mat blue flavour. My jet x is that colour and I love it. I am also planning on getting a smaller windscreen and tinted. I like the room underneath the seat, plus I am getting a 31LT topcase to round things off. I have put at 600 downpayment plus the cost of my bike. At end of this month, maybe after the new year I will have my hands on the joyride. SYM is really outdoing themselves and diversifying their repertoir of bikes. Kudos to them. Take care and happy holidays to all.

Having ridden the HD300 for two months I can say that I am loving it. So now on to my questions: 1. Does the NHT300 have the same motor as the HD? 2. Is auto blip compatible with the NHT300? 3. What do you think of the NHT300 as a second (recreational) bike? 4. Is there a tank cover for it? My other choice for a recreational bike is the GK350, but I have yet to see a top box or side bags for the GK. Thanks.
The NHT 200 is a far better bike. Some say is the best motorcycle in the world.

Here in Brazil we have the NH-190 only,fited by Dafra(Brazilian SYM dealer) but it´s better price x benefit adventure motorcycle of the market, the honda XRE-190 cost the double and has poor issue that NH 190 has for a better price...NH-190 at Brazil is R$15.000 to R$17.000( US$3.000 to US$3.400) price

I already own the cruisym 300, so I have no need for something else with a similar engine.

Do you reckon you could do some Itchy Boots kinda travelling with it? I imagine parts availability may be an issue as you travel from country to country.
Depends how much you abuse it, parts brake when you push them over the limit. I think you could but i would carry a few spare parts with me depenting the country's i wws going to visit and how easy it is to find certain parts in those country's.
I would love to see some 170 millimeters tall people to ride it :)) Good review.

@@marvinrrodrigues olá, acabei de bater os 400km, amaciando ainda mas tá bem tranquilo cara, não tive nenhuma dor de cabeça com ela, achei a primeira marcha um pouco longa, mas é questão de costume. A 6 marcha pra rodovia é excepcional, anda bem e mantém rotação não tão alta.

Thank you for the enthousiastic review. I have to subscribe. I was looking forward and i finally got this bike. Now i am desperate. On the uphill , when leaving the traffic lights, the engine shuts off. Especially when i carry my wife. Τhe first gear cannot accelerate, it cannot even start, no matter how i use the cluch. I thought of changing the front sprocket with one tooth smaller, but it's hard to find one. Is it a common problem, or just mine?
It's still a small engine so you have to give it some revs to set off especially uphill and with a passenger. You can take it to the dealer to get it checked out but I don't think there's anything wrong with the bike :)
@@RideWithAlex Thank you for your fast answer. Unfortunately i use full throttle and either it stops or fight with my clutch. It is my 31st bike. I'm not a newcomer. So i will go to the dealership and take some idiotic greek excuse for not fixing it. Thank you.

You have to talk to you dealer. Service interval is every 5000km

I find the Cruisym far more comfortable for a long haul.

Intre Sym NHT 300 si BENELLI 502 x , ce ai alege , avand o inaltime de 186 cm , iar majoritatea timpului se petrece pe drumurile nationale in jur de 80 km parcursi in fiecare zi .

Benelli dar incearca-l la drum si vezi daca te impaci cu vibratiile lui, eu personal nu ma impac.

De ce nu faci un ride-test adevarat cu el? Nu e relevant cum se misca in curtea aia. Cred ca e bun pt oras, treci prin gropi, asfalt cariat, peste sine de tramvai, il urci pe bordura. Dar iesi si pe DN-uri, vezi cum sta pe viraje, cum te simti dupa 500 km rulati, cum sta pe autostrada, e stabil pana la ce viteza etc.

Permite rulajul in scarite? (ce inaltime ai?)
Pentru ca nu este înmatriculat si nu poate fi scos legal pe drumuri publice, cand voi avea ocazia sa testez unul inmatriculat garantat va fi pe drum

Salut. E mai rapid față de Cruisym 400? Știu că motocicleta asta are motorul mai mic comparativ cu Cruisym 400, dar în general motocicletele accelerează mai iute decât scuterele.
Salut nu exista cruisym 400. Are acelasi motor cu cruisym 300 si accelereaza cam la fel. Si daca te referi la maxsym 400 este mai lenta decat un maxsym 400.
What about vibrations.Are the vibrations annoying after 120 km/h??
Haven't tried it at those speeds but the engine feels smooth
In Germany SYM sells only Scooters.
It finally arrived in Brazil, not for the price i would like, and unfortunately it didn't come with the nicest colors.

In Europe these come standard with that luggage rack. Talk to the local SYM dealer they should have options for luggage rack, crash bars, windscreen and handguards.

I have one of the 200 available to buy tomorrow in Kenya, they are saying they won't be able to bring in the 300. I'm curious if I should push for that or just be content with 200. Could you give me the comparison between the two? I hope I don't buy this and not be able to find parts..... I've been looking and not seeing much. I really want a new seat that's a little more padded and better rear shock, I did find a wind screen - edit: as I started listening to this I noticed you are comparing it to 200 , thank you
The 200 is a more proven engine, I have a friend who also is in Kenya and has a 200 and he's doing great with it. Don't know of any upgrade parts for it tho.
@@RideWithAlex Oh good point..... glad to know that! I just would really love to improve the seat and suspension to absorb the bumps and shocks more from the road, I think it would be so capable with that! I'm going to ride it stock for a while though, except for stuff like wind screen, luggage rack, crash guards etc

@@RideWithAlex I just commute on rocky bumpy muddy roads here in Kenya so I'm not sure if it's extreme off roading that I'm doing or not. I'm not sure what the measurement is for when it gets to be past what is marketed as mild off road capability, I would say it's mild to medium but just bumpy and rough

I got the specs from the Sym website, there is nothing I can do now, I can't change the video
In some countries the specs say : 24Hp-7500rpm and 22Nm - 7000rpm, seat height 86cm. The owners manual is a joke: Faulse pictures, specs, almost everything is taken from another manual. Don't trust the manual if you get a NHT300. You have to trust the service mechanics, but since the model does not sell , i doubt they know it.
How react the engine if o ride 200 km with 1 stop? Not hot?😊

@@bernie917 it's a perfectly capable bike, not fragile. A Greek rider just did an expedition from Greece to Vladivostok on an NH-T 300.

Actually there's a mistake there, 37mm fork diameter travel is more, i don't have the exact numeber right now. Messed this one up 🤦🏻♂️

Salutare, prefer sa ma adresez unui public international si nu am timpul necesar sa fac clipuri in 2 limbi. Mai ma duc si la servici. Multumesc.
Am fost si m-am interesat de NHT in FR pt ca tot ma luam in gura cu Marius de la Bucharest Bike Traffic prin comentarii.. eu ca e o chinezarie ieftina, el ca nu ca e motorul visurilor lui. La showroom nu era decat NHX si n-am programat test drive in avans. Omul de la vanzari sincer incerca sa-mi vanda orice altceva. Din ce am inteles de la el.. motorul asta e aproape null pe off road. Merge gen 10% offroad 30% unpaved si restul asfalt, in rest.. aparatoarea aia de la roata fata se face praf instant la noroi si pietre pt ca nu are cine stie ce toleranta intre roata si plastic, radiatorul e f expus, daca vrei offroad iti trebuie protectie pt radiator, scutul e tabla indoibila si nu cred ca poti trece peste bolovani mari, trunchiuri de copac etc.. sub nicio forma nu poti compara motorul asta cu CRF300 indiferent de diferenta de pret mai ales ca acum toata lumea vinde dual sporturi si sunt ieftine in draci. La banii pe NHT iei un CRF300 cu gen.. 1000-2000km si chiar KLR650. Pt touring sunt multe alte motoare mai capabile la preturi apropiate, sincer nu vad un selling point mai ales cat de jos e piata de SH pt ADV
Fiecare are dreptul la propria parere, tine minte ca sunt oameni care nu vor SH si comparatia cu crf300 este pentru ca produc cam aceeasi putere dar este aproape dubla la pret si mult mai incomoda pe asfalt. Tot vad ca lunea confunda adv cu enduro. Vorbesti de trecut peate bolovani ala e enduro, adv inseamna drumuri forestiere, pietruite, neasfaltate. Eu personal am avut transalp si l-am vandut pentru ca era prea incapabil pe asfalt, pana ajungeam la munte cu el sa ma dau pe macadam ma rupeam pe autostrada de nu mai imi trebuia nici un off-road. Pentru cine pune motorul pe remorca si merge cu masina pana la off-road un enduro e foarte bun, dar pt cine vrea sa faca touring pe motor si putin light off road un enduro e degeaba.
@@RideWithAlex curioasa povestea cu Transalpul, nasha-miu de cununie are probleme cu niste nervi atinsi de vertebre dar e biker inrait. A avut pana acum 2 ani Transalp pe carburatie, i-am si facut cadou o sha de la Top Selerie care sa scada un pic inaltimea. Omul dupa ce a avut nush cate cruisere, Dragstar, Intruder etc sustine ca Transalpul ala a fost cea mai comoda motocicleta pe care a avut-o vreodata. In fine, sa revenim, de acord cu parerea fiecaruia, de ce am tinut sa comentez pt ca chiar m-am interesat de NHT dupa mai multe video-uri BBT si in principiu NHT e NHX inaltat cu ceva extra pt un drum de tara. Also ma tenta sa incerc partea de offroad si omu de la vanzari a dat-o in ras si mi-a recomandat imediat catalogul lor online de dualsport sh. Apoi sa nu uitam video ul tau cu urcatul la munte si faptul ca NHT ul lui Marius a iesit mai sifonat decat scuterul tau. Pe mine nu ma convinge.. looks, sunet, performante.. firma. Cand a fost greva rafinariilor in FR ma gandeam serios la un Super Soco pt ca pt aproape o luna nu gaseam benzinarii deschise sa alimentez MP3 ul. Am un coleg care si-a luat.. l-a folosit 2 luni si l-a dat cu rabat mare de pret.. pt ca e chinezarie.. avea deja rugina, plastice care cadeau de pe el dupa ce l-a alergat pe pietre cubice prin Paris.. autonomie care s-a dus naibii odata cu venirea frigului, probleme care nu-ti sunt acoperite de garantie. @@bruceeggers100 great it is only that The Bible teaches us that anyone who uses The Lord's name in vain won't go unpunished, it is not my opinion but what the Bible says, i understand there are many unbelievers but for me as a Christian, channels who does it and give blase comment on my concern loses me straight away, and possibly there are many Christians who feels the same way.
Any way the channel is very mediocre at the best of times, no real world test but only riding between buildings in an enclosed area, reminds me of when i started riding.
