- In todays video im bringing you my Ultimate Acid farming guide. I go over all the main ways to get acid in game and rank them from least to most efficient in terms of the amount of acid u can obtain in the shortest amount of time. Hopefully this helps some of you out! Enjoy! :)

Maybe about stardust farming(best ways) or how to use startrace ore(or for what is used)?
Do you have a video on maintaining the deviants (my lighting for some hasn’t been working and I still don’t know how to “place toy” for some) or Locations to find them / which ones you’d recommend more compared to each other ? Hopefully that made sense

Missing first but it’s coming soon also for temp fix try picking the container up and putting back down in same spot that sometimes fixes the lights not registering properly

Thanks for the info about the different ways to get acid could you do one on getting mixed oil or Stardust?
they've updated the advanced synthesis bench thing now - it requires both sulphur and energy links now (for those that are still looking for acid farms)
energy links is quite easy to get when you sell the right things , my biggest problem is the perks in specialization , I didn't knew you needed it ,until I found out about it to late ,and not having the luck of getting that perk
for energy links i just make party and kill some lvl 40 or 50 lvl bosses ;)
Thanks, I saw that perk and skipped and I’m glad to know I get a token every week. This was a good video and way better at explaining things than any other video I’ve watched on the subject. Keep it up! 👏🏼

Hey Glitchiz, thanks for the great guide! I was wondering if you knew why my pumps are pulling up polluted water AND dirty water? I just want polluted water without the dirty water.. I placed them in the water. I followed your guide exactly. Also, i think you can pipe impure acid now!
that would be awesome. havent tested yet. as for the water pumping itself its totally location dependant u must be in a half and half zone. :/

@@hsreG12 yeah looks like they nerfed it in the full game. Still worth though 50 energy is nothing in late game
@Glitchiz can u do a money guide? 5k for an 8h stack seems expensive. Especially since around Blackwell dudes drop 5 acid seem per kill. They made some weird choices to some things
@@JappaChow they did nerf this perk in full release I haven’t tested its efficiency yet so I can’t say once I get it I’ll let yall know if it’s worth
Take precious metal refining perk, so you can smelt gold and silver. 30 ores per ingot. 6k worth for silver 12k for gold @@JappaChow
Seems like the water method is now number 1... at least for me the energy cost makes it worse for sulfur converting
I followed this video and went with the Osmosis farm in contaminated areas as i have reached Lv.40 and didnt get the Sulfur to Acid perk.
However on the 40th Lv. i got a perk called The Art of Starsource Decay or something, 4 Starsource to 1 Acid, 99 in 1h10m, its faster then Sulfur and combined with the Starsource Water Pump perk, you get a loop of Acid into Batteries into pump giving Starsource feeding the smelter giving Acid.
4 Batteries yield 400 Starsource that yield 100 Acid in the Smelter.
Did your farms have a problem with dirty water getting into the osmosis along with the polluted water?
@@JeradoFPS nah, it's purely Contaminated Water the pumps generate for me.
@@SupaFly- What coords did you base at? because no matter where i am with the amount of pollution, im getting sea and dirty water along with polluted water

Stardust source to acid is a great specialization paired with the stardust ore specialization
not once u realise for it to be efficient u need like 6+ special water pumps that require batteries and shit ton of power from your base lol
The random perk.. any tips.where farm it? Or did I miss that info?
@@stephenwatson664 the random perk is sulfur alchemist it’s still in the game now it’s just not as good as it was in the beta
Which one is better for making acid? use sulfur or polluted water? I use sulfur, it takes 8 hours for 99 Acid.
sulfer alchemy is by far the best choice. it takes 8 hours yes but u can run double stacks at a time, and simply build multiple synthesis benches to make it go faster. pumps are also good but take a bit longer to produce and its not 100% passive because u do have to stop halfway through pumping process to drag the impure acid out of your purifier and put it into the barrels. takes a bit of extra effort, and ALLOT more power. water pumps are like 40+ watts of power total across all 6 ur gunna need to make it efficient so that can drain power sources for other parts of your base sometimes. Sulfur conversion doesn't require any power at all.
the new patch you can move more then 90 at a time same with refineries. So we can drop 1000 total in each now so much better.
mine pulls dirty water as well is there a way to stop that?
yeah put your pumps in a different location or move your base. what they collect is totaly dependant on location

hello thank for the video but it's normal my impure acid dont go automatically to the barrel ? but the purified water yes ?
@@Soneliverlevrai I believe so yeah. In the beta u had to manually transfer the impure acid from the purifier to the barrel

So I don't know which of my perks I have to reroll to get this but I know I at some point I had the Sulfur Alchemy perk and I thought WTF would I want to turn acid to sulfur. Is there a way to check without burning my only specialization reset token?

why when you are showing the acid with barrels, you said it has to be polluted and it shows a number on your cradle , but yours doesnt?
@@shivasadaa that was a setup from a previous base location that was polluted . I just didn’t take it down at this new location so I could at least show the setup off during the video
how much acid per day do you get with barrel method?
honestly not sure i wasnt using it consistently and then got that better specialization perk so i switched methods. if u dont mind farming in full release doing warehouse extractions are probably just as fast if not faster than the barrel farming method. the only good part about barrel method is its passive. where as the warehouse u have to spend time fighting and killing things. still think the sulfer to acid perk is best method still even after the slight nerf.

im so unlucky with that synth bench I have the bench sulfer enough energy links , but not the perks , wish they make that more accessible specially now you have to use energy link too

in pvp servers u need to use 5k enegry link for each stack of acid u farm using sulfur btw
on pve 50 / craft.
indeed this particular guide was made during the beta. they added that energy nerf only on full release... its still the best method though. energy is really easy to get end game.
@@Glitchiz its good yes we get acid from that using enegry link and the other way is also to masse farm mixed fuel that can be turned into stardust that can be turned into acid , 15 Fuel + 50 stardust ore = 50 stardust and 80 stardust = 20 acid using art of stardust decay and u can go from acid to stardust with the same rate using crafting battery that cost 20 acid and it becomes 80 stardust on the stardust water pump

Loot EEVERYTHING! lol its totaly RNG i found mine in a random dumpster lol
Didn't' get so lucky to get that but really yeah would of passed it because of the bad wording. I'm glad though when I farm for B.P. around Blackfall i get that buff from enemy kills.
How do u get purified water for the fermenting barrels? Since the water pumps only give you polluted water

@@Glitchiz rainwater collector gets polluted water, i cant get dirty water anyway for purified water in polluted zone?
@@Createk yeah all depends on zone if ur in polluted zone ur gunna get polluted water. Not 100% but u may still be able to use the osmosis purifier to make it drinkable
Did this get nerfed? The perk says sulfet and energy make acid. Does it require energy currency as well?
its possible i havent seen the updated version of this perk yet in the official launch so they may have nerfed it a bit. it was pretty OP in the beta so i wouldn't eb surprised.
I got the perk it cost 5 sulfur and 50 energy to make 1 acid so 495 sulfur and 4950 energy per 99 stack , the time is still the same 8 hours
How do you generate enough power for you base? I mean there’s limit even with stardust generator thingies
the key is good power management i go over it in my base tour video. put matching appliances and turrets all on seperate single power lines and hook them up with a switch so u can power down big chunks quickly to get tons of wattage back when ur not using it. u should have more than enough to power everything u need if u do it that way
current conversion with sulfur alchemy now needs sulfur + energy links

When I'm holding alt, it doesn't adjust the height of my water pump.. it doesn't do anything @5:11

Where can I find peppercorn?
There’s a special vendor in every major town that sells rare seeds. Check them every 3-4 hours that’s how long it takes for the stock to reset. I believe one of those vendors can sell the pepper plant seeds. Then u just grow it. Or find it randomly in the wild. I know I’ve seen peppercorn plants in the north lone wolf waste area by the oil fields

i did not pick that perk bcoz of that description acid to sulfur..and now i dont have a reset and i dont remember what level did i got it

Yep same for me as well we get a reset token every weekly reset though so hopefully u get another shot at it
I feel like they nerfed enemy drops on acid i rarely get 4 or more from enemies even in Blackveil and its the same for gunpowder to
havent heard about any nerfs to acid in patch notes so should be the same still.

Theres a guy on starlight-c selling 1k acid for 10k sulfur (vending machine). He have like 60 synthesis bench in his house lol.
Good news is, I have the +40% solor drill thing so gathering sulfur is a real joke.
10mins drilling for 1k acid. I wasnt lucky enough to get the memetic perk but this way is even faster haha :p

Really hoping they add the sulfur memetic specialty to the tree. Expecting this skill on an RNG roll is a huge bottleneck
Don't put the pump close or in water for acid. Where u showed is way to close to water
@@artemhaight9791 if u watched the video I said that was an old setup from my previous base location the pumps at the previous location would have been over land I just left it just for this demo to show how it was hooked up
Asume that the perk is random to get? Level 43 and nothing, even use the reset option
@@RetroGlicerina yeah it’s random unfortunately. Good thing though is u share perks with ur hive so all u need is one player to have it and then that one person can build the special bench in everyone’s base

how to make your power generation 7/7 im only 5/5
specialization perk that upgrade quality of solar panels. also u have to increase ur territory size. grab the memetic for it in the tree and then talk to your territory terminal and choose expand territory. not only will that increase your structure limits but also increase the overall territory space u can build in

@@zanyar4594 all those specialization perks are totally random from lvl 5 to 50. if ur unlucky theres a chance youll never get it. it dropped for me actually at my 35 mark i believe. so amybe try that one first once u max out ur levels as ur first reset.
Perk now ask sulfur and energy. 5k energy / 500 sulfur for 100 acid.. i don’t think that’s good. If we can trade acid for more price and make cycle why not.. (sorry for my horrible English 😅)

One question, to get polluted water, don't you have to be in a radioactive zone where the value in the backpack is above 100/120? hmm
yes, you need to be in a polluted area, now..the question whether you need to be in a highly polluted area or not, that i don't know
I don’t believe so any polluted zone should work pref by water. And I only say that because there ls some borderline areas along zones that being by water could make or break u getting polluted water or oil lol. But for most areas anywhere should work so long as it’s a polluted zone the area I recommended rly is one of the best everything u could possibly need there
Higher pollution is better. 60 pollution will give dirty and polluted water, where as 120 is only polluted water

Yeah the wording on that shit fucked me now i have no clue what mastery tier has that perk on it. So i wasted like 2 rest things trying to find it
It could be any tier but I e heard most players getting it from 35

i got even more lucky with skills, i have one for star dust source and it makes 99 acid in 1:40hr takes 396 to make 99 acid,

Tbh the insane need of Acid, is killing the game for me. Im spending all my time farming acid just to be able to do the shit i actually want to do.
Just not fun.
Few days ago i was doing 3 - 400 pr 30 min farming it at Blackfell.

Перки выпадают на определенных уровнях, Алхимик выпадает на 15 20 и 30 лвл. Можно повысить шансы на выпадение за счет взятия профессии для этого надо 3 перка одной профессии. Профессия алхимика такое унылое говно что второй вариант остается лучшим из доступных.
