you forgot that by activating pvp mode while doing cortex III, it gives 150 instead of 100 per cortex. (more risky, but you never run into anyone, been doing it all day). It nets you 6000 instead of 4000.

I bought all starchrom crate from stellar planula shop. Im waiting for phase 6 seasonal shop to open. Im also done with 40 purifications and ive also done 2 surveys from the game which gave me 300 starchrom each.
so personaly i found a even more broken and invincible way to purify.. if you swim down to the bottom of a deep body of water you can bump against the ground and eventually stand.. it then lets you relocate your base, place a tent, etc... at the bottom of the sea/lake/pond. ohh yea it counts as dry land refills your air you can walk around when you have platforms just place a purifier at the bottom of the sea make a tower and snipe away. broken very found this out yesterday doing some ""videogame science""
Usually near end game every single possible way to get starchrom will be limited ie seasonal challenges and planula, the best way is to get tier 3 cortexes, and the best way to get those is by doing refineries on the map, then just spamming territory defense.
Is it crazy, that the more watch these "get starcrom" videos, the less i want to do it, i mean they used this item to bottelneck the game, an item that is the core to gaining endgame power,and they gated it behind mobile game type task mechanics, on top of that they made dungeons and again bottlenecked that with extra item to get "more rewards" which is conplete bs, since without that item u get essentially nothing. I mean i liked the game, but if these are not red flags of impending doom, then i do not know what it, and with the new poe league comming tomorrow and new helldivers, its very yo be motivated to play a game like this.

it's 8/8 per season, each season u get to spend 800 planula to get 4000 starchrom from the vendor. planula and starchrom carries over to the new season so if u get all the planula from this season u can use it in the next season to get the starchrom crates. Simple
Chaotic cortexes lvl 4 tier yes lvl 4 are the highest value cortex/starcrom. Farming just lvl 4 takes too long i recommend pvp lvl 2 and higher is the best most efficient starcrom source so far on week 5 servers
I'm so annoyed the cortex reset timer is up before the chapter went to the next one. I thought i used t2 thinking i was using up the previous week but no it had already reset and i didn't notice
"pro tip": If you want to min-max your week 1 starcrom, even tho technically you should have access to tier 3 cortexes, technically, phase 2 starts 1 day BEFORE the weekly cap reset, so on Sunday, you could convert 120 tier 2s (or as many as you can), not counting whatever tier 3 you may be able to get your hands on that day directly. But be advised, unless you have good defense (which you likely haven't set up in the first week) and get help from other players, it will either very grindy (to do smaller runs so your base doesn't get wiped lol), or very hard. Either way, that's up to 4K on first week. I don't really recommend this unless you know what you're doing tho haha
I feel its not good to level the cortex up if it takes 3 of the prior level. I could be wrong but 3 level one cortex grants 70 that would be 210 for 3 where one level 2 is only 85 so your missing out of 125 cortex that way with upgrading 3 : 1, so say you want 2 level 2 cortex that is 6 level 1's 6*70 is 420, the level 2 cortex for 2 would only be 160 and just keeps getting more of a loss the more you upgrade. Granted I know you can only do so many a week but the losses to add up.
you can only do 40 per week... and after 6 weeks all progress in everything is completely lost... you lose more by doing lower level ones than converting them as there are only 6 weeks total.... youll never be able to use all your lower tier ones before the season ends...
pretty sure it does carry over... check the season info from pause menu though, if you hit I think it's T by default to "refresh" or something like that it says how season wipes work and what carries over and most of everything else doesn't. A LOT of stuff will carry over though, most of the stuff that matters does anyway..

lets say i have 60 lvl1 cortexes and one piece yeilds 70. and i upgrade it to lvl2, that yeilds 85 per piece which needs 3 lvl1's to make. so my 60 lvl1's turn to 20 lvl2's. how is it that youre getting more if 60x70 is 4700 (for lvl1) and 85x20 is 1700 only (for the lvl2's) or is it just so you can clear out your resonant filter? kinda dont get it..
I think there is a weekly limit of 40 cortexes and after that you need to wait for weekly reset before getting the rewards again. So using your own yield experiment, 40 lvl 1 cortex would yield 2800 40 lvl 2 cortex would yield 3400 I forgot the lvl 3 cortex yield rewards, but its always better to do the higher level bcs of the weekly limit
Yes but if u put everything in even if u go over the linit u can start it or at leadt it did for me After u need to wait a week but i think if this works for everybody then juat put everything in without concerting to higher so u get tge most yield Last time i put almost 100 ore in one go Didnt tried after new patch still collexting them back
Not sure about friends but hive members specifically do all get the starchrom. It is ideal to pool your starchrom if possible and craft the highest cortexes you can complete and bring in all of your hive members. As long as they are in region they get the same amount as everyone else.
Dungeons (the silos and rift bosses) need them for good rewards. You get slot of them in the game but if you're running dungeons lots they'll disappear fast
You'll eventually have to gamble if you wanna upgrade your weapon blueprint to make it stronger. A fully calibrated 1 Diamond is weaker than a non calibrated 2 diamond weapon.
Just Fyi i had a rainfall reaper go into water and destroy my acid setup. I cudnt do anything to her though because i guess u cant kill things that are under water they have to be above water in some way.
Complete all side quests. Kill elites, farming silos with seepage zones is probably fastest. Complete the events, namely the pink circle ones you see when traveling. Complete public events, ideally doing as much of the side quests as possible during them to maximize the rewards. The downfall of these is not all are going to give you tier 3 cortexes. However you can combine them at a three to one ratio to upgeade them. We debated if it's worth it to upgrade or not but if you have enough we recommend upgrading as you get more starchrom per purification however keep in mind it's something like 70, 85 and 100 for cortex 1, 2 and 3 respectively. With the weekly cap the more you do at the higher level the better but again 3 to 1 ratio means 9 cortex 1 makes one cortex 3, for thirty more starchrom.

The point isn't to gamble, but they have guaranteed rewards on some of them. So if that's a piece you need it's better to do the gamble game with the guaranteed drop so you get it And extra blueprints. But if you don't need those guaranteed items then you definitely want to buy specific.

You clearly don't udnerstand how the blueprint mechanic works. No NEED spare blueprint fragments to upgrade the (OTHER) weapons you like, and the "gatcha" is BY FAR the easiest way to get a great amount of fragments. In case you didn't notice, you can use blueprints to upgrade any weapon of that category. (categories are: Huntsman, Wanderer, Operator, Juggernaut, Beyonder, Stranger)
U must be new cuz I'm new and it's obvious that if u see what u want in the prize pool to play it's ridiculously easy to win the first one that give u random stuff no but the next three option has set prizes which again are easy to win
A lot of people don’t know what they are talking about! Don’t blindly follow what they are saying. If you spend 10k Starcrom you will get the BP advertised guaranteed + many fracs to upgrade to a multi star BP. If you spend 8k for the BP you will only get 2k left over to get fracs and have a hard time upgrading your BP to a multi-star BP. If you are set to get that specific weapon just spend that 8k one time and play the mini game. The goal is to get as many stars on the BPS you intend to use. That’s where the real damage is.
If you take the herald one and you want the scar you can either spend 8000 for one blueprint or spent between 500-10000 to get the scar and then the other blueprint you get upon reaching the scar. This only works if there are items you want in the prize pool like the guy above me said. Otherwise just buy the item in the shop.
In my personal opinion. Buy the blueprints first straight from shop. At least the ones u want or need for ur build... THEN u can gacha for upgrading those blueprints. That way for me u can match up with other players especially in pvp. In my case im buying blueprints first this season 1 and i might gacha in season2 depending if there are new gears in the list.

So you can do 40 cortexes a week. Lets say you do lvl 1 Cortexes, that will yield you 70*40=2800 Starchrom Instead, you can choose and upgrade them to level 2, this requires 3x level 1 tho. This means you technically will "lose" starchrom, as 3*70=210 while 1x level 2 is only 85. But since you still can only do 40 cortexes, you would much rather do 40 level 2s, which will net you 85x40=3400 Starchrom. Lets say you are playing a lot, you can do 40 level 3, which will net you 4000 Starchrom. This system takes into account, that if you play enough, the cortexes Isn't your limitation, but the timegate is. But they also want to make sure the casual gamers doesn't whine, so they have to make sure they don't feel left out, which is why you basically "sacrifice" starchrom, to maximize your output per week. The way you look at it, would mean that 60 level 1 cortexes is all you get in a week, but most of the time you will get a lot more cortexes.

If you put them in(don't start it), it will tell you the length and what will spawn.

this game has so many fucking systems, it's insane, losing interest especially with wipes every 6 weeks, not feeling worth the time.

You clearly don't udnerstand how the blueprint mechanic works. No NEED spare blueprint fragments to upgrade the (OTHER) weapons you like, and the "gatcha" is BY FAR the easiest way to get a great amount of fragments. In case you didn't notice, you can use blueprints to upgrade any weapon of that category. (categories are: Huntsman, Wanderer, Operator, Juggernaut, Beyonder, Stranger)

A lot of people don’t know what they are talking about! Don’t blindly follow what they are saying. If you spend 10k Starcrom you will get the BP advertised guaranteed + many fracs to upgrade to a multi star BP. If you spend 8k for the BP you will only get 2k left over to get fracs and have a hard time upgrading your BP to a multi-star BP. If you are set to get that specific weapon just spend that 8k one time and play the mini game. The goal is to get as many stars on the BPS you intend to use. That’s where the real damage is.
If you take the herald one and you want the scar you can either spend 8000 for one blueprint or spent between 500-10000 to get the scar and then the other blueprint you get upon reaching the scar. This only works if there are items you want in the prize pool like the guy above me said. Otherwise just buy the item in the shop.
In my personal opinion. Buy the blueprints first straight from shop. At least the ones u want or need for ur build... THEN u can gacha for upgrading those blueprints. That way for me u can match up with other players especially in pvp. In my case im buying blueprints first this season 1 and i might gacha in season2 depending if there are new gears in the list.
@@mhfcka just like the other people said if you need that weapon or armor piece you 100% play the gacha game ALWAYS. If the weapon and/or armor is not in the game you will buy it for full price.
they need to let us have every piece of gear as cosmetic if we use it or not.... so we can put the cosmetics we want! and not forced to use them for the wrong stats to look good -.-
But the game already has a cosmetics system that functions completely independent from your gear. Of course you're gonna ask for even more...

You, enter wish machine, get last reward by hitting once. good ! but where the hell does your video show that the user HAS a last reward left or is coming up ? It seems like you did a commentary separately and then someone else did a video and you just blindly put them together and they are DISCONNECTED. instead of helping they just are working AGAINST each other often. !

lets say i have 60 lvl1 cortexes and one piece yeilds 70. and i upgrade it to lvl2, that yeilds 85 per piece which needs 3 lvl1's to make. so my 60 lvl1's turn to 20 lvl2's. how is it that youre getting more if 60x70 is 4700 (for lvl1) and 85x20 is 1700 only (for the lvl2's)
or is it just so you can clear out your resonant filter? kinda dont get it..
So you can do 40 cortexes a week.
Lets say you do lvl 1 Cortexes, that will yield you 70*40=2800 Starchrom
Instead, you can choose and upgrade them to level 2, this requires 3x level 1 tho. This means you technically will "lose" starchrom, as 3*70=210 while 1x level 2 is only 85. But since you still can only do 40 cortexes, you would much rather do 40 level 2s, which will net you 85x40=3400 Starchrom.
Lets say you are playing a lot, you can do 40 level 3, which will net you 4000 Starchrom.
This system takes into account, that if you play enough, the cortexes Isn't your limitation, but the timegate is. But they also want to make sure the casual gamers doesn't whine, so they have to make sure they don't feel left out, which is why you basically "sacrifice" starchrom, to maximize your output per week. The way you look at it, would mean that 60 level 1 cortexes is all you get in a week, but most of the time you will get a lot more cortexes.
