I love how this theme has sections that remind me of the music themes for Malie City, the Vast Poni Canyon, the Seafolk Village and to a lesser extent, Paniola Town.
This track takes me to a fantasy country town that just simply does not exist in real life... a town where eastern sands and mystical tales meet the dry, barren charm of the old, wild west... a feeling of nostalgia for a place I've never been... a melody that haunts as much as it soothes... GOD I love this track!!!
Amazing theme, swsh on the music side is incredibly underrated even if many acknowledged Bede’s, Marnie’s, and the Gym theme. Random, but thetr were ladders located in front of the brozong, was disappointing that it just led to an item and not another side route to explore. :(
I have a weird hypothesis Galar is not close to Kalos like most people think, but is actually west to the Pokémon world's version of South America, near the Antarctic circle. A huge amount of Pokémon are shared in common with Unova, which may imply a nearby stretch of land connecting the obviously northern Unova with the potentially far southern Galar. Deserts usually form west of large mountains and east of cold currents, meaning if we put a large stretch of mountains west of Galar, similar to the Andes, this could explain Galar's patches of desert. I've had this idea for awhile, but I had completely forgotten about this clearly South American inspired part of Galar, which imo backs this up even more!
@@followthelucario4388 Galar is also supposed to mirror Great Britain and Kalos mirrors France, which we know are close to each other and only separated by a canal.
I just heard this again after a long time while playing a Sword nuzlocke and I had no idea this song was from gen 8. I thought it was a theme for a place in Alola, like in the 4th island somewhere.
I am going to be real Alister is kinda just me but with I mask slapped on. I love how they captured how I suck at dealing with strangers and my incredible self doubt. Also... "Crumbs that was ace". Best quote in the game and get this, he says it TWICE.
For some reason, this music sends me back in time to January this year when I came back from holiday and the first thing I did when I came back was load my switch on for this tune, which is ironic as I’m typing this on an iPhone, something I didn’t have then 😂
Fun Fact: There is a Bargain shop in Stow-on-Side which sells uncommon items every day. It's also here you get items related to Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in SWSH is you show one to him.
I hated this game when I first played it about four years ago, even though I hardly remember much of the game at all. This song has stayed with me for years, love the intro.
This city was initially planned for Sun and Moon but it was replaced by the little area south of Haina desert. That's why the music sounds so similar to Sun and Moon.
I think that this theme really stands out from the other themes, i think it sounds very beautiful and i can hear the song in my head even when i’m not listening to it :)
Sooooo!!!! I´ve never played SwoShi but i was listening the OST. When the song of this town began, it instantly ringed a bell in my mind. I don't want to believe i was the only one that got it. So, play this song 'till second 30 and later listen to YMCA by "Village People" til second 26. You'll never listen to this theme the same ever.
THE sword and shield track
this game is a blur to me, I don’t even remember most of it. but I could never forget this song

Definitely it sounds way too similar
@@LycanMOON I hear it. It also reminds me of Sahra Town from Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon.
it's a beautiful bastard synthesis of all of them
Also alder's encounter theme
Yeah a lot of swsh music sounds like they are derivative of gen 7 music.

It has a mixture of western and eastern influence. And it all mixes perfectly together.
Unfortunately in a few yearsss, it will no longer be a fantasssy town.
This is one of the best town themes in SwSh. Gives off major PMD vibes. An added plus is that it's home to my favorite Gym Leader, Allister.
And my favorite Gym Leader Bea :)
@@danielwang8833 Bea's cool too, but the Ghost boy has my heart.

this is honestly one of the best themes of the series. desert like, calm and relaxing too.
Shame we have no deserts in england

Real Gerudo Valley vibes, best town theme in Galar by far
This music caught me off guard man while playing Pokemon Shield . IT feels like it came form Breath of the wild Rito Village. So Beautiful
Really? Sounds like something that would play in Gerudo Town to me
I actually got some Gerudo vibes in this one, I feel like the Ballonlea soundtrack is more like Rito Village.
i did get gerudo vibes from this too.

One year later, and I still think this theme shoulda stayed in Sun and Moon. I love it!
My personal favorite theme in all of Galar. Followed by Circhester and the Slumbering Weald.
Slumbering Weald is A Menace when the First part cuts out and da doggos start Howling 💀

It's a cool theory, but disproven by the swimmer in Route 9 who says you can swim from Kalos to Galar

Best city theme in galar
Actually a banger tho
It gave me alola vibes and I was born in the Galar region, the emotions hit me hard walking here
0:12 The curse of being a music nerd is recognizing the YMCA Cord progression
this song has a so good flavor of town themes from wild arms 1, wonderful.
Stow on side! I liked how I could walk on top of the roof of that building... is this that town?
Alola vibes >

Best town theme of the entire series!
rivaled only by driftveil city

This theme gave me vibes on both Lentimas Town from Pokemon Black/White 2 and from Paniola Town from Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon.
YES I LOVE THIS
I love this too
Ohhh thank you, thank you...

You can mash this with The Theme of Divine beast Naboris from BOTW and probably have something godly XD
This sounds like it should be in Pokémon mystery dungeons
And when I thought Route 6’s music was good, this music is toppling over Route 6!

Best theme hands down
