This is personally my favorite part of the song. It's got a feeling of intensity that sends shivers down your spine. Really hits hard. Which is fitting considering how large scale of events the Gym battles in this game are.
I get that the other two phases are meant to raise the intensity and hype of the crowd, but I kinda wished there were more options to listen to just the first phase.
@@Kimairan Mabye find someone who has a copy of platinum, and have there copy be next to either one of the Galar games (Sword and Shield) Also your theme is a banger
Thank god you were able to take the other two parts out of this and extend it. The first part slaps, the second part is just okay, and the third part makes my ears bleed.
Yes! The galarian birds theme is a super bop, I like how Klara’s theme resonates, and goodness me does this rock! Sure, this game’s got some flaws, but I feel the music makes up for them
I absolutely love the dynamic nature of this song, but man does this first section SLAP! When it goes major, it just loses so much of its intensity! Glad this vid exists though
The views say everything this one is the best one. Oof sends shivers down your spine. I have added this one to my general music library it's "that" good.
I love this section of the gym leader battle... the other sections feel like they are *trying* to intensify... but it just starts losing the intimidation factor... the intensity... it's just people being cheerful LOL
This is the good portion of the song. The segment that plays between Leader Pokemon does well at conveying that you're making progress, getting the upper hand, but it ruins the intensity that this, the main body of the song, sets in the process.
I first heard this part (or first paid attention to it?) in a review talking about how bad this game is, and it was around the part he was talking about the ghost gym. I seriously thought this was just Allister's unique theme, and went on thinking this was just the coolest, most fitting theme possible for a ghost gym. Now that I know it's just part of the regular gym battle theme... I still think this fits Allister way better. It also really reminds me of Sonic Riders for some reason.
I really like the Gym Leader theme, it's one of my favourite Pokémon soundtracks. But this is actually two "phases". This is both the theme that plays when you are challenged by the Gym Leader, and the theme that plays when all Pokémon are sent out to battle. My favourite version/phase is the one at the very beginning, but all other versions/phases are good too!
I wish Nintendo would stop copywrite striking every short version of this. I don't want to listen to the awful cheering in the full version, but I want it to be short enough that I can stick it in a playlist and not listen to it for half an hour.
That's the Twitter version. In the game files, the intro is a separate track with its own very short loop. Also the intro from the last phase isn't in the standard loop that plays during the actual battle. Please fix this trackn
