As someone who is/was seriously thinking about getting the 83" G4, I am not that sure any more. Is there any chance you will take a look at the Bravia 9? Would love to see your take on that. To be fair your S95D settings seems extremely oversaturated in many scenes 😬 I like color, don't get me wrong.
I used to be a hater of you because I fell for that whole filmmaker accuracy thing, I won't even lie, but the facts are facts and you've shown and proved it with every comparison videos you've made with your calibration settings against filmmaker. Keep up the great work, can't believe I got fooled so easily, had to see it for myself and now I believe a lot of what you say, even if our political views are different, we're on the same side when it comes to televisions
Its all good. It is what it is. Im bound to piss people off being unapologetically me. Good on you for keeping an open mind even while being hateful. I'll lead you the right way regardless
Is that vivid mode on g4 a standard than can’t be changed or what ? Other videos show completely dimilar images to samsung and he just put uo a video saying he was weong about s95d
Unless each of the compared televisions is calibrated to the same disclosed standard, comparing one TV that has been so calibrated to another which has not, tells us little of value concerning the ULTIMATE capabilities of, in this case, the LG G4 compared to the S95D. I refer to calibrations made independently the initial settings of each manufacturer's presets such as "Cinema" or "Filmmaker" or "Vivid" modes. I look forward toy analyses of the Sony Bravia 9 for each of its 3 sizes.
I'm so thankful that I broke free from the mental trap of "reference accuracy". Guys, you're just selling yourself so short by sticking to that standard. You really need to think about it, Quantum is absolutely correct, these are outdated standards that were developed with the tech available 30 years ago. Things have advanced so much since then and your panels are capable of so much more. Making things look better only enhances the experience, it detracts from nothing. Stop being sheep.
Quantum_TV Man first of nice video your celebration is unbeatable you totally rock🎉 I have been watching your channel the past 4 days solid. secondly which tv do you recommend overall the samsung s90d or lg g4 in terms of pictures quality, and motion I really wanna buy a tv for gaming and anime and especially for the upcoming dragon ball sparking zero😅 thank you in advance.
Brians tech therapy did a side by side comparison of g4 amd s95d and his comparison did not look like this. He also had them both in vivid mode. What is he doing/tweaking/cheating that makes his comparison make these tvs look so similar? Why does his look so different than yours? Thanks im new to all these lies calibrators be telling.
I guess Brian’s Tech Therapy must be cheating? Bold question to say if you ask me. I think checking the consistency of multiple comparisons on RUclips might give you the answer. I’ve seen them both side by side and the comparison was close definitely not as black and white as this video shows.
Quantum is nothing but a joke. He calls himself a master calibrator. Please. The same guy years ago telling people to wear sunglasses while watching tv... lol
Not only do Qs setting transform you TV, you also learn a bit through his step by step setting how the settings on your particular tv work. You can then make a few minor adjustments to tailor the settings to your liking ( or to compensate for variations in your panel)
So so true, even a lot of these channels trying to promote that Sony Bravia nine? Yeah, I noticed they don’t have the balls to put it up against the TCLQMA or the new QM7, the comparisons are staggeringly ridiculous. Yeah, I’m gonna pay 3200 for a TB that looks worse and blooms more than something Like TCL that cost me 1800 or 2400 for a 75 inch that blows Sony new LED tech out of the water, unbelievable. I say unbelievable because that’s how much they’re trying to charge for a 65 inch, I could only imagine how ridiculous the 55 inch would be put at, I’m also noticing that the Sony Bravia eight is not even being talked about, G I wonder why. You would think that they’d be promoting the Samsung a lot more since their new QE models are basically top notch this year, I don’t know guys Samsung takes OLED and TCL takes lead, pick your style you can’t go wrong this year. Yes, TCL for LED, Samsung for OLED/new quantum tech. 8:18
Q to shut the haters up, why not do a review not naming the tvs and just comparing them and then at the end show the brands. It will throw people off big time. It will force people to rid of their presumptions.
Just came here to say your a legend. Mate, these lgs fanboys are just cut cause there tvs look washed out af when compared with a qd oled. The g series is overated af
Thanks for the videos Quantum. I'm still a vivid/vibrant image type guy. If you have C3 calibrated settings leaning towards vibrancy I would buy in a heartbeat.
Yeah Q has Setting for your C3. Also you can use the settings from the LG C1. if you can't find all setting in playlist you go to the Membership-Only Videos there you find all the settings That Quantum have made from 2019 until now 😊
They both look great imo because when looking at the 2 images, my brain can rationalize 2 different times of day (afternoon vs. evening). The S95D's "evening-time" calibration does give better perception of shadow, so it gives more depth to the picture; however, correct me if I am wrong, these video seem to be more about the default calibrations of the G4 not being up to par, and not about the S95D truly being a better tv. If you calibrate them the same, they would look the same, no? Ultimately, I do appreciate seeing your calibration on the S95D because it helped me realize what I was missing out on with picture quality.
The S95D is better but that doesn’t make the G4 a bad tv like you are making it seem it just needs to be adjusted. How about you put both tv side by side in stock mode the way most consumers will leave the tv if they are not tech savvy.
Love Quantum's videos. But TBH the S95D's matt screen looks disgusting. Yeah you might not see it if you're in a blacked out room but it's there. I will never buy a matt screen no matter which TV brand sells it. Construction preference.
Y’all don’t understand.. this guy is the best in the game… the G4 colors out of the box sucks… now watch when he finally puts his setting on the G4 he will turn it into gold… it won’t beat the S95B but it may be a close second
I would never buy the s95d. The g4 is far superior. It’s already been proven how much brightness you lose in just a year on the q-oleds. The lg has much better processing with a much cleaner picture too.
Hey ,😎 Nice video 💎👍🏻! Can you make a comparison video of your calibration-settings vs the “Industry”/calman/D65 calibration! I”am very curious 🕵️♂️about the difference 🙏 Thanks already
Bro, you have no idea how much I wish I could give you a high five right now! I was sitting here laughing and grinning so hard with you! I’m with you. It’s awesome when you get to do stuff like this because people just don’t get the truth and you get to slap them in the face. You don’t wanna wake up and face reality? Well too bad because here it is, and you can’t deny it anymore! Haha Fantastic! You should think about doing one with the S90D too because who knows you might get someone that’s stupid enough to go oh well all you did this time was fix a screen that’s gonna look worse without calibration because it’s a Matt finish that’s being put up against a glossy one and anything is going to look better than a Matt finish out of the box before it’s calibrated. Also, I know it’s not possible because it’s perceptual calibration and it’s like a real time thing for every TV and there’s no way to even show it on camera because if you tried that somebody would likely try and watch it too closely and steal what you do and try to claim to be better than you, but it would be just the greatest thing in the world, if you could somehow go to the house of someone who does believe in you and be like you still think I’m putting on an act? Well, here’s someone with a brand new TV that doesn’t have any of my settings on it yet and I am going to put those settings in in real time and you can watch me do it because if that could happen, these idiots would never ever have even a pretend leg a delusional leg to stand on ever again!
This video was awesome & Hilarious. Luv it when you stand ground sho what's up! Side topic: Was at BBuy (coming from a QNFN I accidentally smashed with a ladder) I noticed the details on the newer 8k seemed to be way better than the 95D (in store mode at least). How do you think the new 8K compares the OLEDs ?
Q, I love your content, but don’t let the battle with other people blur your vision on other tv’s. I’m looking forward to your calibration settings on the g4 but I also own the Samsung and I don’t want you to be biased in any direction because any other streamer or fan boy, I’m willing to subscribe for the work! ✊🏽
If you like oversaturated colors, this does not mean that everyone likes it, and even more so it does not mean that the TV is bad, just turn out the colors in the settings to the maximum for yourself and that's it.
Fomo said vivid mode on the g4 is the greatest image on the planet when watching sdr sports. Will sports look different to how horrible the wow Disney disc looks? If not, then is the guy a blatant liar? Cause this looks awful.
Would you know why our S95D (65") in my country is wayyy cheaper than others? It's only Php87k ($1500 USD conversion), it's brand new & it's priced like this on every legit seller. Does this mean they slapped an older generation of panel on this S95D? The exact model is QA65S95DAGXXP
Great video! You are a GOAT! I Still have C1 and use one of Your settings and love it. Of course im sure that 95b, c or d are better, but maybe next year i will buy a new model.
Hello! Really great videos! I’m gonna be a member. I just bought the G4 in 83” and 55”. Is it possible to make the picture and colors look good with your settings or am I going to regret my purchase? Thanx in advance
For people saying your settings is Vivid. Let's look at the word. bright, brilliant, intense. Full of life; lively. Damn thats no insult. To me, it sounds like a compliment.

Great job on LG settings. Don't worry about haters. You always have them they look for bad reactions to feed. You are awesome at calibrating. 99% of people will choose your rich colors and wonderful highlights. 1% are purest that like lack of color. When people go shopping for tv, they are not going to buy a washed tv next to nice vibrant tv. I love this channel. I love watching you make magic out of TVs.
Watching this on my S90C rocking your custom settings and all I can say is you're damn good at what you do. The haters don't hate you, they hate hearing the truth about these TVs.
You're a great content creator for charging your subscribers five euros to buy your screen settings. In an earlier video you compare the C1 with the G4 and claim that the C1 is the better TV only because of his great settings. People, don't let this scammer fool you
Have you ever even seen my work? You're quick to call me a scammer but you've never even seen my settings. They're both woled. The color is more washed on the G4 because it's too bright. Then game mode is too dim on the G4. When fully optimized the C1 has far better color amongst other things. It's no scam.
ALL TVs out of the box look like crap!. It's up to you to adjust the picture quality to fit your eye. Everyone is different on what kind of picture each person likes. The G4 can EASILY be fine tuned by the dozens of adjustments to look like the TV on the left. Also the processing and motion on high end LG TVs are a LOT BETTER than Samsung.
No question the Samsung's colors are richer. Everything you're saying is real. Yet every strength has a liability. In Samsung's case, this it's sometimes ridiculously oversaturated scenes. Several of the supposedly "washed out" LG images actually look more realistic and less amateurish. Even so, It would be nice if Samsung S95 or Sony A95 series made an 80" and see what adjustments could be made.
There is no dount the samsung qd oleds are insanely good. The color they give out is not possible by woled. Plus i have not seen any panel uniformity issues. That being said, all tvs need to be tuned to acheive better results but i prefer yaving to tone things down on the QD OLED rather than turn things up. I want to upgrade to an 83 inch and am waiting for qd oleds to come in that size.
I think this video is all about picture quality.Samsung has overheating and frame skipping bug issues . Lg has better motion and 5 year non burn in warranty. In the end it comes down to what matters. I think samsung s90c is still very good option. Who is buying brand new TV... No point. Atleast wait till blackfriday/cybermonday 2025. U don't need to buy new one every year, maybe once in 5 years.
The settings on Samsung S95D are very samsung like. Neonish colors, contrast pushed a bit too much, too much gamma, probably 6000 K white light. This type of picture is something with Samsung tries to provide in their TVs and monitor. However, it's not accurate. In cheaper panel this will lead to back crush and also break photorealism. The one of the rights is more accurate the white look closer to 6500k, but I think its on cooler side. However, skin tones and certain things are a bit lacking as per me. Look at the end of the day you can either have that high contrast and neonish Samsung type look or closer to color calibrated type look. But overall staying close to color calibrated look will give you more satisfied images in most of the scenes. Since all movies and content are edited and made on color calibrated monitor. So images look close to directors' intent.
Man oh man, people are veeeerrry...... sensitive about tv's wth,😂 especially when you call these manufacturers out, knowing damn well these manufacturers dont care about them just those dollar signs, lg fans calm down dont get a heart attack about your tv,😂 continue to keeping it real Q, i rock with you bro, lot of butt hurt emotional people in her, lol
I like your settings but I don't know if it's because of the camera at 5:05 some details are lost in the scene, for example the stairs behind him and his arm touching the wood on the left side. Waiting for the day when companies will develop technology that "tricks" our eyes so that when we watch TV our perception of the image becomes more immersive, deeper, almost as if the TV was pulling us towards it, "3D" or whatever.
The final measure of your calibration quality is to display a quality B&W movie to see if any color is bled into the image. It should look like a a quality b&w photograph .
I cannot understand how, or why, people would criticize your expertise, especially after being presented with such detailed comparisons. I think you're invaluable to the industry, so keep it up! Be well. 🍀
I don’t know how much credibility you can muster when the TVs aren’t even on the same level of brightness?! The Samsung is way too dark, the LG may lose detail, but everything that is in the shadows on the Samsung gets completely crushed and loses detail in turn. Also, not having HDR recording when doing these videos is a deal breaker for me.
@@Quantum_TV That’s damn self-righteous of you, because I and anyone else with a brain will not deem your review to weigh more than someone who releases a comparison video in HDR.
@@williambattersby2497 Most people prefer set up basic like install, plug in and turn on that's it like old day of old fashion tv without fiddling around fine tune it. They expect good picture first time they turn it on. Otherwise they have to call expert to come over help them can be rather inconvenience.
Both TV look awful. Samsung because colors settings destroy the picture and make it look like a 4 years old splashed heavy paint all over the screen. And LG look awful because it obviously look dull in comparison.
G4 won against s95d at RTINGS. That s95 doesn't look good in terms of colors, that's not realistic. If you play shooters online you don't want that many colors.
Wow!! Awesome argument with proof. I always told people the LG G4 wasn't $1,700 plus better than the LG G3 and Quantum TV has made my case. Good stuff Quantum!👌
Q I am a little confused. You used the S95D in this comparison. I thought you said that the S90D is actually the best. Are now saying with this video that the S95D is to be preferred over the S90D??
What I said wasn't fair in the other video was that you compared the S95D, calibrated by you, against the G4 in cinema mode, and I wanted to see a comparison of the two calibrated by you, it's clear that your calibration mode is great, I've never discussed that, I live in Brazil and I'm about to buy one of these TVs, but I'm not sure if I can get their calibrations here.
Challenge you? 😂 I'll let the pros do that. And what do you know every RUclipsr perfers... drumroll...... LG 🎉🎉 knowing you you'd probably calibrate lg too look worse 😭🤣 that's what happens when too you shit talk for 20 videos when everyone else stays neutral. I can't trust someone that's biased.
My friend, if you prefer Samsung, that’s perfectly fine. However, that doesn’t mean LG is inferior. Personally, I don’t like overly colorful TVs, but we all have our preferences. Whether it’s Samsung, Sony, or LG, they’re all great TVs. After all, if everyone loved green apples, no one would eat the red ones. Peace, and thank you for your videos.
Everyone says they are "honest". But you can tell a mile away that you like Samsung. I do not understand why. It has no Dolby Vision, no DTS. Today all "serious" blu-rays have DTS audio. To buy a Samsung, with the DTS soundbar, you have to spend the same as buying a Sony. This is because Samsung doesn't want to pay royalties.
I also like Samsung. Also for its low prices. I have a Samsung TV. But it's not right for you to make people believe that LG is a rubbish TV, when in fact it has always been the reference TV. Woled is not "old technology" it is always evolving. The fact that it has an extra white pixel for brightness. it doesn't make it any less valid. QDOLED still has one big problem: Very fast burn-in.
WOLED is dated . Samsung /Hisense/TCL SONY led(bravia7, not 2023 or earlier models ) all have 3X yes 3X Color density of G3 G4. They advance so MUCH larger in Gap than the WOLED ! WOLED is rapidly falling behind
LG WOLED gotten bright , but remain almost same color volume as d dim version . When light/lamp projects light , the brighter the light , the DENSER lamp Shade needs to be , to consist the Dense Color . If only boost the light bulb from 30w to 100w, the see thru lamp shade will just look more plain right? 😊 but with illusion of vibrancy when there is black bars near by creat black shadow
looking forward to seeing G4 vs S95D both calibrated by you
Self proclaimed best calibrator ?
Self proclaimed? I just beat all the lg experts that made the g4 settings.
As someone who is/was seriously thinking about getting the 83" G4, I am not that sure any more. Is there any chance you will take a look at the Bravia 9? Would love to see your take on that. Man you really like Samsung - What about the build Quality? Or how does the new Sony ( which uses similar panel like Samsung ) match up ,?😂
I don't really like Samsung at all. Im just being honest. Go watch how the a95l compares to the s95b. The g4 review will cover all of that.
my nintendo switch oled screen is better than what im seeing here on lg g4
Do you go make a vídeo of your calibration settings in sdr, hdr in LG g4, to match the s95d? If you do i'll pay the member fee
i prefer lg for DOLBY VISION AND ACCURACY MOVEMENT ON THE SCENES ; samsung HAS NO POP 3D and profondity of image and movement is bad!
lg win

Great job on LG settings. Don't worry about haters. You always have them they look for bad reactions to feed. You are awesome at calibrating. 99% of people will choose your rich colors and wonderful highlights. 1% are purest that like lack of color. When people go shopping for tv, they are not going to buy a washed tv next to nice vibrant tv. I love this channel. I love watching you make magic out of TVs.
Nice work qtv
Watching this on my S90C rocking your custom settings and all I can say is you're damn good at what you do. The haters don't hate you, they hate hearing the truth about these TVs.
I have the same TV. What settings did you use?
Have you already manage to tune the g4 to your likings?
You're a great content creator for charging your subscribers five euros to buy your screen settings. In an earlier video you compare the C1 with the G4 and claim that the C1 is the better TV only because of his great settings. People, don't let this scammer fool you
Have you ever even seen my work? You're quick to call me a scammer but you've never even seen my settings. They're both woled. The color is more washed on the G4 because it's too bright. Then game mode is too dim on the G4. When fully optimized the C1 has far better color amongst other things. It's no scam.
Ouch! Who poked the bear? Lol
Hi which toy story is this used in the reference?
Also do you have settings for the A95L and how do I get them thanks
Got my S95D today, my gaming world is about to improve big time
Congrats 👏🏾 🎉
You have no idea how true that is if you join and get my settings. I actually use game mode now
@@Quantum_TV I'm going to. I'm playing around with the set now, I appreciate you 🙏
ALL TVs out of the box look like crap!.
LG G4 looks waaaay brighter
Another video that shows qd-oled is better than woled lg needs to move across to complete with samsung and sony
❤
Speak the truth and shame the devil baby! The S95D is the shit, it is an awesome tv for many reasons. I love the QD OLED tech.
Can you give a tutorial on how to calibrate my LG g4
2pt calibration tutorials are universal. What software are you using?
Now this was the video I wanted to see! Thanks for comparing like this 👍
Is the S90D with your settings good for 1080p streaming and blu rays? I just can’t accept the fact that the G4 is $700 better than the S90D
The S90D with my settings destroys everything I've seen. Including the s95d.
@@Quantum_TV So S90D is better? :O
Man oh man, people are veeeerrry...... sensitive about tv's wth,😂 especially when you call these manufacturers out, knowing damn well these manufacturers dont care about them just those dollar signs, lg fans calm down dont get a heart attack about your tv,😂 continue to keeping it real Q, i rock with you bro, lot of butt hurt emotional people in her, lol
so G4 is bad TV? I thought its best OLED until this video lol the difference in picture from what you're showing me here is huge, wtf
Please respond, you don’t talk ever about the old stuttering problem it’s a big problem
If you can pick features from any tv brand. How would you create your perfect tv?
5:06 Carl to the right is literally a dead man walking 💀
Would love to see calibration settings in Vivid mode on the g4. Unfortunately no 83” qd-oled unless you think a Bravia 9 is better at 85”
Haters gonna hate, players gonna play. Then I come in and say heyyyyyyyyyy.
I cannot understand how, or why, people would criticize your expertise, especially after being presented with such detailed comparisons. I think you're invaluable to the industry, so keep it up! Be well. 🍀
Hey man can I get your S95D settings for movies and in game mode I seen video you said for 5$ bucks how do I pay
Hey man, Please see settings playlist after joining here:

Hey quantum if you have calibration settings for samsung s90d 77 then I want to buy that tv so late me know do you have or not .
Tell me about how the Bravia 9 is Q
Even the last year's s95c is better than the g4😂
Actually yeah it is
All the haters vote biden 😂 Facts are tough.
🫡🤣
I don’t know how much credibility you can muster when the TVs aren’t even on the same level of brightness?!
The Samsung is way too dark, the LG may lose detail, but everything that is in the shadows on the Samsung gets completely crushed and loses detail in turn.
Also, not having HDR recording when doing these videos is a deal breaker for me.
Hdr is not a requirement for honest information. Besides since when does my credibility revolve around your opinions of me?
@@Quantum_TV That’s damn self-righteous of you, because I and anyone else with a brain will not deem your review to weigh more than someone who releases a comparison video in HDR.
😯 at LG set default at COLD 50 on Vivid mode? 🤯 What were they thinking? It should have stay at WARM 50 or less to make it more realistic.
All can be customised so not the biggest issue, also subjective.
Do u have settings for a95l
Where's your vids on the sony a95l?
Playlist
will you resell your LG G4?
That’s a G1?
Im gonna tag this video in Oled Gaming subreddit lol LG fanbois are gonna lose it haha
🤣👍i love it
G4 won against s95d at RTINGS. That s95 doesn't look good in terms of colors, that's not realistic. If you play shooters online you don't want that many colors.
Wow!! Awesome argument with proof. I always told people the LG G4 wasn't $1,700 plus better than the LG G3 and Quantum TV has made my case. Good stuff Quantum!👌
what is the best tv right now from your perspective?
S95C 😊
Q I am a little confused. You used the S95D in this comparison. I thought you said that the S90D is actually the best. Are now saying with this video that the S95D is to be preferred over the S90D??
I compare all my tvs.
I am gonna say the S90D is so good it doesn't even need to compete yet.
OK Great!@@Quantum_TV
Between the S95C , S90D & S95D which is 1st place 2nd & 3rd place keep in mind there was blackout with S95C. Do the blackout still exist
So do you feel the same about the S90D vs the G4 or is it closer?
S90D much dimmer . G4 too bright got the Color Density (or lack of ) so color looks thin/tinty .
S95C best
@@Yoga_Tv_buying I’m not doing the mat screen
@@TheGhostofMississippi yeah 👍🏻 same here . Thats why I mentioned - s95C :): not the D
@@TheGhostofMississippi I saw S90D 65” S95C 77” , G3 83” , 5 days ago at Bestbuy . S95C d best :)
How can i get your Best setting for the G3?
Buy a membership
QD-OLED is literally the advancement of oled tech. Lg uses the old woled tech. Lg _is_ inferior as a result.
Prefer the picture on g4! colours too dull and oversaturated on samsung
Best hate watch channel on YT it’s high quality entertainment
You must live an extremely boring life to be hate watching youtube channels
This is why you don't watch your tv in vivid mode silly.
