My new students want to know how to flying armbar & twister.
Now you & I know that we must all walk before we can run.
There was a time I spent months working things like the elbow escape or shrimping. My students quit.
Now I have a deal with myself. Half the class I teach what the students want. The other half. I teach what they need.

What are the 5 point passing and guard surfing drills you mention in your blog "notes on drilling"? Trying to figure out what those are and cannot find it anywhere.

Is it possible to have the list of the 11 movements, it would be a great. Love your content so much, but you know that :-)

Me too, except he always pushes the blind faith forced indoctrination religion of racist savages program called EVOLUTION. Yet says he's against the LIVING WORD makes fun. Its hippocritical in the least.
Out of the 6 different types of EVOLUTION only one is proven by the SCIENTIFIC METHOD and there's no change from one kind to another kind. Yet he still pushes government mind programming as if not part of their gnostic polytheist religion 🤔
He also promotes krishna on top of all that. Blatant hippocrit says he's against organized religion more of a hathiest Antichrist pusher yet actually polytheist so he's just a dickhead deep inside his core. Love the sbc aliveness principles though regardless of his cult ure.

I love your stuff! It is exactly how I taught for decades. But I disagree when you say it's difficult for some it's actually easy or the teach that way .
I use analogies and metaphors to teach movements and always look for the 10% that made the 90% impact on a movement. That's the key. Refine basics advance basics it's constantly looking for one or two details that make a huge impact.
Over the years students and fellow instructors have always told me they couldn't believe how much my instruction impacted them and it's pretty much the same as what you're teaching.

@@JSMinstantcoaching I don't have a broken down to the 11 elements. He is a lot higher level than me for sure. But my teaching refined basics is my strengths since 1994 and a lot of my philosophies follow his really close.
