Great escape, I enjoy Marcelo elbow push or standing up from turtle prior with control of hands before getting pinned. Change of mindset not allowing pin can help a lot
You can tell he has freak strength. The way he casually says “send them high” with his underhook whilst both feet are off the ground, using front delt only 😂😂 yeh not possible with someone much bigger/heavier/better…. Most people need that bridge to do it
Huh, didnt know it was common, I always thought since side control is a poor pinning position and doesn't score points itself that it should be easier to scape vs the other positions
Side control is so weak, there is no point to still teach it. Lately Craig Jones has developed a way better approach mixing wrestling. A lot emphasis on Octopus to avoid any side pinning. Power Ride is on if the best instructional on this topic completely outside the box.

Excellent instruction. Great details. New sub
Now you 2 switch and let him try with the 40-50lbs weight disadvantage. That's me and my rolling partner.
I really like how you show several techniques to cover the responses of the other player. Your teaching style is awesome.
This was very well explained and effective. 🔥
Great stuff, always get threatened with darce chokes from here though
Awesome details.
Good stuff
You a good fella
I've seen a few wrists destroyed by that hip switch
👋 I'm not waving. My wrist is broken.

The amount of times I get to side control, have my frames and still can’t moce
Weirdly enough I struggle more with escaping side control than I do with mount, back, scarfhold, turtle etc
the same for me
I think thats pretty common
It's not weird at all. That's the way it is for everyone I would assume.
Common at lower levels, but changes at the highest level. With the exception of scarfhold

“…like Jane Fonda, but that’s okay.”
What should I do if they switch base and have their hips like facing my head I always get stuck there?
look up kesa gatame escapes, I think that position is what you're talking about.
Yeah I always get stuck there also I watched his video on mount escape and it’s working so well, do you know how to get out of high mount?
why does it seem everyone in the background isnt even paying attention
