whats the capacity of your default SSD? some are saying that if you go for the 500gb variant it will use the SLOT2 and the empty slot is the slot1, is it true?
Mine is Lenovo E 14 Gen2 AMD Ryzen 4700 U with 512 GB PCIe SSD. I am running out of storage. Can i add an extra SSD, may be 1 TB or 2 TB to solve storage issue now and survive into my next laptop two years down the line and not e-waste my upgrade. Ideas please. Thank you.
He changed the RAM module, added a 2280 M.2 SSD and finally removed the 2242 M.2 SSD, quickly showed it at the camera and reinstalled the same 2242 M.2 SSD.

@SMDSpain From the video, it seems to have 2x M.2 slot, one is a M.2 2242 while the other is a M.2 2280. Lenovo gave me the wrong information by claiming that both M.2 slots support both M.2 2242 and M.2 2280 :(
@@campeador94 The M.2 2242 slot is shorter than the M.2 2280 slot. "22" is the disk board width in millimeters and "42" (or "80") is the disk board length in millimeters. Hence the 2280 is almost twice the length of the 2242.

8+8 is a sweet spot.. you can definitely add more if you do ram intensive stuff..
