I thought Kin was phenomenal no way it was the worst episode imo. I thought it was the perfect way to move the story forward with a focus on character after the unbelievable intensity of episode 5. Such an amazing show, also aren’t you the guy who makes the Muse videos lol? I recognize your voice
I loved your input on episode 7, Left Behind. They fumbled that episode SOOOOO BAD!!! They could’ve done way much more. Have Ellie looking for an emergency kit with the flashbacks with Riley. That’s why the DLC was a masterpiece! And plus, it felt like they kept having the same conversations and I hated that.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment! I think this was just about as good as any video game adaptation is gonna be so I'm happy with the outcome overall but like you said there were some parts that just missed the mark.

But these are my personal top 9 episodes ranked. Love hearing everyone else’s thoughts though but Kin was mad beautiful. Seeing Joel as a man, open up and beg his brother to take a huge load off his arms. Broke me down to pieces, great acting, settings, character development, etc.

@@NightwalkExtras Thx! Yeah and I appreciate episode 5 even more now because of the lack of action elsewhere in the show, it was way more of it in the game. I don’t know how far you played the game, but episode 5 was more similar to the game than the others, and that’s exactly what I wanted from the TV show. It had action, character development and good pacing. You can also probably tell it’s the same exact reason episode 3 landed at the bottom for me, but I guess you’ve already seen that criticism from many already haha. I’m not the biggest fan of the game (I prefer gameplay-focused games more than linear storytelling games), but the story was really good and I thought that this story would work better for me if it was adapted to a TV show. Unfortunately, the story in the show ended up being inferior to the story in the game, so I kinda still prefer the game tho. Overall I’d give the show a 7/10, and the game an 8/10.
@@NightwalkExtras i just think it was really powerful with some great acting and the build up to riley’s death was good as it made that scene so much more sad. Bella got it spot on!!
