I'm re-watching the series and skipping past 90% of the scenes/storylines that have Kim, Charles, Saul, etc.

Haven’t finished yet but here’s my list so far: 1. S4 (Top 3: Winner, Coushatta, Weidersehen) 9.9/10 2. S3 (Chicanery, Witness, Lantern) 9/10 3. S1 (Pimento, 5-O, Marco) 9/10 4. S2 (Klick, Nailed, Inflatable) 7/10

Checking in before the season finale, what do you think of the season so far?

Such a bad take, claiming BCS is better than BB. And this is coming from a huge BCS fan. This is a take I see frequently, but can be debunked by a simple question. Can BB exist without BCS, and would it still be as good? And vice versa? Yes, yes BB could and obviously did exist without BCS. En route to arguably becoming the BEST show in the HISTORY of television and won of the most awarded ever in just 5 short seasons. The story of BCS does not elevate BB in any way. Now ask yourself, could BCS exist without BB? My answer is no. But even if your answer is yes, would it be AS GOOD without BB? If you’re being truthful, the answer is a resounding NO. BCS as a standalone without the story of BB would make it WAY less enjoyable, it would mean less, and it probably doesn’t survive beyond season 2. Breaking bad did more in 5 seasons than BCS did in 6. Granted the episode count was similar breaking bad had a smaller budget and did more with less. They cultivated the more, intriguing, gripping, and emotional story. Saying BCS is better seems like being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian.

Checking in after half of season 4 has released. I’ve really enjoyed every season of the show, but it’s clear that some seasons are better than others. Up until season 4, I considered season 2 to be the weakest because the first two episodes were slow and I wasn’t a fan of everything they did. The season definitely picked up in quality with the third episode and I consider the final handful of season 2 episodes to be top tier, which allows it to just slightly edge out season 4. Now that could change very fast with the second half of season 4, but so far it’s the weakest season. I think the hate surrounding it is definitely blown out of proportion, but it has definitely been slower than the other seasons. The latest episode was amazing though and really shows how amazing Antony Starr is as an actor. . Outside of those two seasons, I feel like seasons 1 and 3 are pretty much close to perfect. So with all that said my ranking goes as: 4. Season 4 3. Season 2 2. Season 1 1. Season 3

I think Point and Shoot may be my favorite episodes but Plan and Execution and Fun and Games were all great. Fun and Games was a perfect follow up to Point and Shoot

Season 3 was my favorite because of Homelander. Season 2 might be my next but it’s so close to 1. Like you said there are no bad seasons.

No Don Eladio? "DING DING DING!" Best single thing in the show. Omitting Daniel Wormald (AKA Pryce, AKA baseball card guy), though verbally mentioned, was a huge omission.

Why not put more effort into video editing??? What you're showing has no connection to the characters you're talking about...

Season 2 for me is the weakest because it has quite a few boring episodes aside from episodes 4, 9 and 10. The best parts are everything that sets up the eventual downfall of Chuck.

I think Top Gun: Maverick is way too low on the list and deserves to be at least in the top 3. That movie was simple yet almost perfectly executed with a great father-son type of story in the centre.

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul have completely changed the way I watch movies and shows, i remember when i used to watch and want more wpic *BOOM* BLasT!! Action Marvel movies but now I want more calm movies and shows. I would rank Breaking Bad still higher than Better Call Saul because the highs of BB are unmatchable but I think BCS is better in some ways. Like the writing has improved a lot, i like a more calm and, as you said, methodical way of telling a story. Also this show is way consistent in its storytelling than Breaking Bad. You watch BCS S1 and S6, there isn't really much that has changed but when you watch BB S1 and S5, there is a drastic change in storytelling style... Season 1 has more of a funky "Yay another TV Show" vibe, while Season 5 seems like god has himself made a TV Show for us humans with such serious narrative.

Pryce is one of my favourite characters in this show, hes just such a sweet goofball and must be protected at all cost

The black and white parts cucked the entire show for me. It was already somewhat tedious to get through the first 3 seasons. And as good as it got with lalo, after his death everything happened so fast and it felt rushed compared to how slow the early seasons went. And the last 3 episodes just weren't it for me. Very predictable what was going to happen and not a satisfying end to the show. How people even consider this being a better show than breaking bad is beyond me.

For me, Saul Gone is the best episode of any series I have ever seen. Every scene is packed with immense meaning and everything culminates perfectly including Jimmy’s redemption. I could not sleep that night thinking about every aspect from it.

S2 is my favorite.

Season 1 of The Boys had the potential to be the best. But their writing of their leading female characters ruined it. Madelyn was the only one that was actually interesting. Hollywood had this problem where they don't want female characters to be flawed and it makes their characters less interesting. The majority of season 1, Starlight's entire character was just being mistreated for being a woman. That makes me sympathize with her. That doesn't make her interesting. Maeve was barely featured. When she was, it was just her being complicit in whatever Honelander does. So her character was boring. Luckily they fixed this in season 2. But season 1 missed out on an opportunity there.

I'm so wrong that my ass did not even blink by seeing Howard's death.

my favorite episodes are ones written by Gordon Smith he's an amazing writer.

Honestly my top three dramas are: The Sopranos Breaking Bad Better Call Saul The Sopranos feels like home to me, Breaking Bad is as I once said about it "The story of a bad day that just keeps getting worse" and Better Call Saul was "How do choices affect you down the line?"

Thanks for posting this. Usually watch your Radiohead reaction videos so what a surprise to see you also love BCS, as I do. The opening with the brothers singing is incredibly sad, agreed - the good relationship they could have had is heartbreaking

For both Jimmy and Mike this episode was them realising they're at the point of no return, the loss of all innocence. Jimmy had a cry in the car about it but got over it and came out of the car as Saul. Mike will be affected by it much longer.

Chicanery was the peak for me. The whole storyline between Chuck and Jimmy was my favorite part. I loved how compelling it was even without the usual life or death stakes of the breaking bad universe. Chuck was also a masterfully written and acted character. I believed in his performance 100% and was hooked every step of the way

Howard was my favourite character. He got done dirty in the end. His ending was so unwarranted. Also Lalo was the most charismatic character. Why was he not in the series from earlier though? He didn't show up until half way through Season 5. Should have got more of him!

I think I'm fine with Lalo being number 8, but Nacho is severely overrated. He should not be above Lalo.

Season 4 is the best for me, the introduction of Lalo alongside Mike and Werner's connections finally makes Mike's part of the story as quality rich as Jimmy's and the end of Werner is the only time this show has gotten a reaction out of me and my gf at the time alongside Howard's death in season 6.

Personally like Breaking bad more because Better call saul is mostley a prequel meaning for me there isn't as much tension since I know many of the big players arent going to die. But bottom line both shows are peak and pretty consistently so.
