What was the next step after you put the little piece of yellow on the last piece of translucent? Do you mix each color in with each piece of translucent? Is that how the colors got lighter?
When you put the small pieces of clay on the transparent clay do you put the same color on each piece ex: only yellow pieces on one and only blue on another etc
Are you asking for when you mix your colors? For instance if you’re wanting to use blue clay to color your translucent blue then only use the blue color. However if you want to make a green color & don’t have it you would mix blue and yellow together. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions please ask!!
Hi there! You definitely can use alcohol ink just use a small amount first! Roll your clay out and then add a few drops, spread it out, and let the ink dry before you mix it. Then the process will be the same.
Hi there! Here’s the link to the one I purchased. I wished I would have gotten one without extra attachments because I have no use for them. I’ve heard the Atlas 150 is amazing but if you order from Amazon be careful because some makers are getting fake ones! Hi Alexis! Try putting your cane in the freezer for about 10 minutes before you cut it. Your cane could be too warm which is causing it to squish and distort the colors! Let me know if this helps :)
@@roxyroadclayco.8243 Thank you so much for replying and fast! Lol I'm working on one right now thanks to the help of your video. I will definitely do this for future canes.😊
I’m glad I could help! I was just thinking if popping it in the freezer doesn’t help it could be your tissue blade or what you use to cut your cane, that it made not be sharp enough. I definitely think the freezer will help! If your clay every gets to warm just stick it in the freezer. :)

My top colors keep sliding into the others when I cut it in the final step. How do I stop that from happening?
