Howdy, great videos, enjoyable content. I have a general comment, have you made bookmarks? If yes, what would your first choice of clay be and what thickness and temperature for a flexible product? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. 👍
Hey there! Thank you for the feedback. I personally have not made any bookmarks. I would try sculpey soufflé cook time & oven temp would depend on the type of over you’re using!
Hi! I personally have never had trouble with discoloration once I rebake with the bake & bond. Before you apply the bake & bond make sure your pieces have fully cooled from the oven. If they are not cooled you could risk having a little bit of distortion. Hope that helps :)
@@roxyroadclayco.8243 OK so I tried this and I used bake and bond on a pair of earrings I made. It was using bake and bond on the earring back as you had done. Second day of wearing the earrings for a full day (a hot day) and when I took the earrings off the backs came off them! So I'm not sure if I trust the bake and bond now (sculpeu brand) maybe also use superglue and maybe resin?
Hmm I’m not sure as to why that happen! Definitely try adding super glue to the back & then add bake and bond or use UV resin. I only use resin now as it has lasted the longest for me & looks the best in my opinion.
Hi! I personally sure all my post with resin as it gives a smooth finish. I’ll do a video soon on how to apply resin! I use UV resin for earrings & I just put a small amount on the clay (once it’s baked) then use a silicone brush to spread the resin. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for explaining the different techniques!
Thank you so much, really needed this♥️
You’re welcome!!! ❤️

Hi thanks for the video. If you rebake the earring after applying the bake and bond do you not ruin the piece or make it discoloured?

What size earring post are you using?
Hi! Generally I use anywhere from 4mm-8mm depending on the size of my earring.
