1 thing I can say that the place looks like a graveyard of aquarium fishes. It seems they don't maintain the quality of fishes though most of them don't look malnourished.
Depends from where the water is sourced, water from natural springs/streams is not going to look like your RO water therefore the fishes still look healthy n sell all over.
Some of the tanks in the video show lines of minerals from water evaporation, indicating the tanks hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Takes quite a while for 1ft of water to evaporate
Love all the fish's, but I so hate to see the Bettas stuck in tiny jars in the pet stores, petco had dead ones floating the other day in them, so very sad, so sad some people dont give them a better life with the proper tank they need, Love my Goldfish & Koi's I have.
you'd be surprised on how betta farms where i'm from breed and raise betta fish, nothing but dozens of bettas in a bucket along with hundreds of buckets filled with bettas often side by side and sometimes stacked. Granted once they got bigger each betta would get a bucket of their own to grow in, but once they got into a marketable size they'd go straight into a jar.
I would leave notes like "ANIMAL ABUSE" on paper at the fish section in Walmart. I even "adopted" a fish and told them I wasn't paying money for this abuse, im taking him, and going to try to heal him back to health. He was tilted on his side dying in a dirty cup of water on the back of a shelf... I ended up taking him.
I love how intently Manuel was watching your Spanish outro, with the thumbs up of approval, and then the extra boost with the last word. I just found this channel but these fish farm tours are great.
Coralfish12g is just something else. Entertainment and educational values are spectacular. Different perspective from saltwater to freshwater and hobbyists to breeders. One country to another. Keep it up george.
It's so cool you can tell these guys are serious about their business, and also their security. But as soon as you start talking about fish together the passion comes out and Manuel is just excited to show you what they have. Really remarkable what they are able to achieve and produce, without the use of incredibly overpriced high technology tanking systems, just natural mother nature and a lot of hard work. Beautiful farm

Guppies live birth bro, but still pretty good farm lol. Honestly the fish look healthier than at my big chain pet store, he's keeping them pretty healthy.
yeah keeping them in bottles (or a tank that small) is "controversial" bc it's just abusive. and why are so many of the breeding tanks only half full??

Amazing !!!! Numero Uno 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯👏👏👏👏Your government should allow you guys to export because your fish are very beautiful and rare and will make your country very rich.
I feel suffocated and trapped looking at those fishes in tiny individual bottles. Also yes, I heard he said its just a transit area. But yes I hope they don’t stay too long in those bottles.
They go from those bottles to tiny plastic containers(depending on the store they go to, as I've seen some stores with proper tanks setup for them), and continue to lack a proper heater. My betta is full of energy in his 16 gallon tank because he has plenty of room to swim AND, as he's a tropical fish, a heater keeping the water at the right temperature for him. Seeing them in those tiny bottles is sickening; and did nobody else notice how quickly the worker changed the subject when asked about how long they're in those bottles for? I have a feeling they're trapped in those bottles, which also looked filthy despite his claims that they change the water(How, exactly, do they do that without emptying the entire thing?). Personally, I wouldn't be buying any fish that come from them.
Thats okay. Betas in nature live in a pond of water. In the nature they are all dirty without tails bcs they fighting for the ponds every single day. When they found a a female, the male start the nest (like bubles on the water), the female comes and put de eggs in the nest and leave, the male start protect the eggs until they are hatch and go start they fish life. Okay but the fact that he said "yes it's fine for a beta to be in this bottle, plus it'll only be a month before they get transported and then to their final customer" a beta shouldn't be in that bottle (cleaning waters does not usually help) , and if they do end up getting adopted.
