My buddy just bought a fake iphone 6 on Craigslist. Paid $600.. He complained it was slow, so I took a look and instantly knew it was a fake. Feel bad because he worked his ass off last month to pay for it.
That's what irks me about Craigslist, people need to ask and check for serial numbers before they loose out on a lot of money.

This is exactly why I never buy online when it comes to technology. I've bought all my apple products in store, always. It's the best way to avoid it. Sure, it might be cheaper to buy from third party but that's how you get fakes.

You don't need to open iTunes or check serial numbers to make sure it is fake: just open settings and scroll any page. If it scrolls like potato-driven SH*T, then it's fake.
Or just go into App Store to see if it is actually Google Play.
A good tip -- if you don't want to ripped of. Go to a well known phone shop or order direct from Apple themselves.
