@@GloriousCBRxxBlackbird if you do decide to get the oil cooler lines, my advice would be to get the engine really hot before you undo the 4 retaining bolts to the engine block, when i did mine i gave all the bolts a good spray with plusgas a few times the day before, then i let the engine run for 2 cycles of the radiator fan so i new the engine was nice and hot, then undun the 4 bolts carefully, the 4 bolts are renound to snap, so be carefull, I managed to get all 4 off with no problems. good luck.

Did you tighten the last big nut on the APE only by hand? It seemed so in the video. I've seen some use tools so it stays tight. Have you had to adjust it since? Great bike!
You did an absolutely awesome restoration/series.. I've watched restos for years and you have one of the best.. I love my Honda F4 but you've opened my eyes to The Glorious CBR1100XX... Just out of curiosity how many bikes have you restored over the years?
Honestly this is the first one. But I fix&maintain my 2 cars and like to tinker anything so I have a good set of basic tools. The biggest help was from youtube, blackbird forum sites and the maintenance manual.

Beautiful build. Very nicely done and great video!
I would recommend fitting the Hel oil cooler lines. The originals are prone to bursting, and the small bolts prone to shearing.

Nice video. Why don't you installed black colour break and clutch levers? The gold colour does not fit in blue and black.
Problem with the VFR bars is changing the angle of the brake and clutch as the resevoirs limit movement

They sell you the wrong size frame plugs but the frame holes are all the same size on all Blackbirds
Some nice updates you made there. I didn't realise the lithium battery would save so much weight. Have you had any issues with it in cold weather?
