@@mythicalbeardgaming Yes, Miyako was 4 or 5 months pregnant, 😊but she played the whole concert, which lasted two hours, superbly! 🤘She is an introvert, so she almost always has a serious face on stage!🐺
@@GrayFox14 That's why I always love their pre-2020 shows. They seemed more fun and not so serious. Sure the show quality and production level is not as good. Miyako doesn't so introverted in the early years.
@@jay_g1984 I agree, before 2020, Miyako was more emotional on stage. That's noticeable. Maybe the reason is that the Covid-19 pandemic began and in 2020 people began to massively
hurt and die? Many have become more restrained in expressing their emotions because of this. Perhaps the pandemic also affected LOVEBITES, their relatives, friends?! In February 2020, the group opens the concert with a song "Thunder Vengeance" and each of the ladies has black armband on their left arm, similar to mourning ones. Perhaps Miyako became even more withdrawn for some personal reason. But in any case, she, as a musician, gets better every year. And this is the main thing.🤘🐺
My friend you haven't seen anything yet. This band is amazing. They have two guitarists who are among the best currently playing. Midori is the blonde and Miyako is the dark haired one. Miyako also shreds the piano. Check out their song Swan Song with the Chopin intro next.

For the last 10 years Japan has "produced" amazing good bands. The 3 top now on RUclips is Lovebites, Band-Maid, Babymetal. Coming up is Nemophila, Bridear, Asterism and Hanabie just to mention a few. And everything started with X-Japan, Show-Ya, Ningen Isu, Anthem and Loudness in the 80:ies. Show-Ya and Ningen Isu is still playing and heard a roumur that Loudness released new material but I can't confirm that.
Loudness i saw live in Sweden in 2017 or 2018 :-) They where surprisenly awesome :-D

Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Whatever the description, I think one can say they have given metal a badly needed makeover and maybe a new lease on life. They have themselves said that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics.
They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters.
They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like a demon). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." 🐺Miho started playing bass in high school. Great bass player! The fact that such a wonderful group appeared is, first of all, the merit of Miho. 🐺Haruna has played drums since she was thirteen years old, and began writing songs on a keyboard at fourteen.
Haruna is the smallest (4 '9 ") and the youngest of the ladies, but appearances are deceiving. When Haruna sits down at the drums, this is the "small Nuclear Reactor." She is one of the best drummers in Japan.

🐺Midori (blonde hair) started to learn piano at around two years of age and electric organ at eight. She started studying guitar at the age of 20. Super guitarist, "Crazy Shredder". She surpasses many male guitarists in speed and technique of playing the guitar.
Graduated from ESP / MI JAPAN Osaka , GIT-DX department (superfast guitar department). ESP / MI JAPAN Osaka is an international music school , headquartered in Hollywood, California, USA.
🐺Miyako (black hair) has played classical piano since she was three and guitar at the age of 18. A pianist of the highest level, playing classical pieces with ease. Great guitarist! They call her "The Golden Touch" and she is a real musical genius. Miyako is the main composer of the group, she wrote over 50% of the music.
* Miyako and Mi-Ya are the same lady. On the debut EP "The Lovebites" ( May, 2017) and on the first album "Awakening from Abyss"(October, 2017) , her name was written as Mi-Ya , on the following albums - Miyako.
* One music critic said that two guitarists of this level (Midori and Miyako) in the same group is a crime!😊
🐺Asami started with R&B and soul music . Starting at the age of two, she performed classical ballet for about 16 years (notice how her hands move) before moving to America after high school to study jazz and hip-hop dance. Plays the piano.
Asami wrote most of the lyrics of the group's songs. She speaks English, albeit with accent. All songs LOVEBITES are written in English.
Unlike other metal bands, LOVEBITES are always on stage in white dresses . White clothes are their style. Many people, having seen them on stage, say that in white dresses they look like Greek Goddesses playing metal !
The Wolf is the mascot of LOVEBITES and is featured on all band's albums except the first EP "The Lovebites". The group's fans call themselves the 🐺Wolfpack🐺

To date, Midori (blonde hair) and Miyako(black hair) are one of the best pairs of guitarists in the world playing in the same band. In almost every song, each of them plays their own solo, and then they play together. The synchronization of their guitars is perhaps the best in metal.🐺

the third BR / DVD was released in september last year and remained number one in japanese hard rock and metal category until the end of december. LOVEBITES was selected as the best new band of 2018 by UK metal magazine metal hammer. they toured UK with dragon force in 2019. this tour was commissioned by harman lee, who was interested in playing and composing abilities of LOVEBITES. herman lee in white dress appeared as the sixth member of LOVEBITES at side show.

Lovebites is a synonym for SHREDDING dude. Best metal band there is right now. The Wolfpack dont play games-these girls are here to take over the world of metal music. And to show everybody else how much they suck-and that is real, very real. And i love it-this band is unique. I dont listen to anything else since i first heard them. And that was like 3 years ago. Total madness!
