Mike the Backyard Mechanic (not a real mechanic) works on his cars in his garage (not actually his backyard) and shows how to do repairs and mods, often not correctly, for your entertainment. Mike is not a REAL mechanic, he has common knowledge. Any injury, damage, or loss that may result from improper use of these tools, equipment, or from the information contained in this video is the sole responsibility of the user and not Mike. Авто/Мото
I had to do this work, and wish I had this info. Thank you. Also I am jealous of your frying pan.
When you got “misty”…I was in tears! 😂 Well done! Kind of like a burnt egg on a carcinogen chemically coated frying pan.
I was just playing misty. For you. Do you feel lucky? Am I mixing my movie references?
What? You didn’t have to almost pull the engine? 😆
Love your videos…
Much appreciated!
I have a 1998 ford crown Vic it runs ice cold and it's never been touched, double knock on wood,

I would have bet the house there was an R2D2 refrigerant/ Star Wars tie in joke in this video. I was wrong. Too easy, or too stupid? Either way it shows what little I know.
I was really proud of the video until this comment. Missed opportunity is the story of my life.
Just remember Mike, I offered to be your sidekick, and I’m not just some run-of-the-mill sidekick. Heck, if nothing else, I can at least unlike and reply sarcastically to all of Dan deClerk’s negative comments.
You are definitely not run of the mill, you are custom, made to order.
Hey, how many RUclips handles do you have??
"popping on the hose"?
I am just not going to go there... which I'm sure is not what she said.
You missed the following scenarios: The Refrigerant dryer, which typically uses Copper Sulfate, can get "full", and moisture enters the system. Moisture is worse than air in the system. But the biggest omission is a clogged cabin filter, or alternatively replacing the free flowing filter with a HEPA equivalent.
I have footage for a video on cabin filters. The dryer is a good tip. 👍
@@MikeTheBackyardMechanic mention the cabin filter in this video. People don't have time to watch all of your videos to figure out how to fix their air conditioning issues.. Sometimes, they'll stumble across just this video when RUclips pushes your video toward them.
The video is already published. Your comment will tell them.

Remind me to stay in Michigan where I can roll the windows down for climate control. Also, remind me to always say thank you and please. Just a reminder that I need reminding. What was this video about again?
Sounds like a plan. Remind me to remind you.
