Dragon ball has had a massive impact on the world as a whole. You truly saw it when Akira Toriyama died and millions of people around the world came together, at least tens of thousands in public places.
She got the buccerati fit on tho
Cell games theme had one of the hardest hiphop beats
RIP Akira Dragonball was the window to the world of anime for me, met a fiance throught it and made some great memories in my teenages years because all because i started watching dragonball.
The artists were young watching toonami just like us loll also toonami bumpers always had sick beats
Can't forget what the movies did either for metal and/or rock. Broly movie had me listening to Pantera back in the day.
the reason i even started to listen to tee grizzley was because he had one dbz bar that drew me in
🔥🔥🔥
So true. That's why I got my son into DBZ, it's culturally relevant just as it was when I was growing up.
Love the video. Thanks for making this.
🔥🔥 glad you enjoyed it!
It started with dragon ball for me in 93, then old episodes of speed racer and lupin and rolled me right into yuyu and cowboy bebop. All commingling with hip hop and jazz I had no business listening to at the time 😂
😂😂 they caught us all while we were young
Thank you for this ❤
You’re welcome 🔥
Damn, absolutely great video man. Keep up the good work!❤
Thank you🔥
I recommend changing the title to "Dragon Ball Z in Hip-Hop" instead simply because people probably think/expect music. If not that add "A Video Essay" just for a bit more clear. I say this because that's what I was expecting. I still thoroughly enjoyed this and you did a great job, just thinks you deserve to get it seen more.
PS- Channel 49 and Rest in peace Akira Toriyama.
Love your videos dude! I'm in an all black rock band we're all huge nerds and love dragonball and I make a point to always stress how rock is just as much of a black art form as hip hop and also hip hops retroactive influence on rock and roll. we have a song called Kamehameha littered with more of the same kind of references you highlighted, give it a listen if you fancy. Love the vids keep up the good work
Thank you will keep bringing the 🔥🔥🔥
Man, we used to freestyle over the toonami beats constantly!
🔥🔥🔥😂
@@NerdsAtNite most were horrible, but a few were memorable and glued together our friend group! Good times 😂
