Bo-Katan made the right choice. It would have made no sense for her to cut open the other door for one Mandalorian, to put everyone at risk. She saved as many people as she could so they could regroup and come up with a strategy to save him.
Exactly! It's about strategy, plus they have to get back to the fleet to warn/help them. Then they can strategize, maybe even call in a certain ex bounty hunter in green armor.
also, i don’t think upsetting gideon, with din helpless literally right in front of him, would’ve been a smart idea. i understand the knee jerk reaction is to want bo to cut through the door, because that’s what we’ve been taught in star wars. sabers can cut through everything, *she should use it right now!* but when you think about it, it just wouldn’t have been the best idea, for din and for everyone else. it took her a few seconds to get the back door cut open, as well. it wasn’t immediate, gideon could’ve easily killed din in the amount of time it would’ve taken to get the front door open if he felt threatened or aggravated.
Right. If you're in a trap, don't run further into the trap. Plus, if she cut a hole in the front door her forces would be entering the fight one at a time, hunched over to get through a small hole. They'd be _extremely_ easy to pick off.
So we have Din Captured, Bo, Gro, sasha Banks, some of the survivors plus a cast of extras roaming the catacombs, the armourer with a bunch of “weak” survivors returning to the fleet… plus the children of the children of the watch and three baby pterodactyls back at navarro…. iGrogu-12 is strong but slow and clumsy, unarmed and unarmored…. I cant decide what i think about the Armorer….. its hard for me to believe she is a traitor because 1 if she was Moff Gideon would have been aware of what was going on at Navarro and wouldn’t need his spy in the republic 2 he could have used her a long time ago to greater effect Since i cannot reconcile HER being the turncoat (i still suspect one of Bo Katan’s two subordinates ) I feel part of whats coming is Grogu becoming A Mandalorian with an armed and armored iG-12 suit. I also suspect that Boba Fett and the Marshal will get involved in some way.
11:24 Grogu is like that kid that got some loud toy for Christmas and is now just following his dad around all day with it pressing every button he can find. You can feel Din sighing so hard as they are walking and I love EVERYTHING about it! 😂😂😂😂😂
The reason Din didn't give Bo the dark saber earlier is because it wasn't necessary. Din realized at that moment that the privateers were not going to follow her unless she had the saber.
i agree and i think the way how he gave it back to here was right and NOT LAZY. Again everything has a purpose, it may not happen the way we want but it leads to what will become.
Exactly!! Just because it didn't go someone's way doesn't mean it's lazy, the impact of him telling of and giving the Saber at that point was great!! Alot better than Bo walking in with Din and being like oh yeah I am the one that has the Saber, that would seem more lazy
One thing I thought of was that Din needed to do so in front of those like Axe and Koska. If Din had done it sooner, would Axe have accepted Din's reason that Bo-Katan is the rightful owner?
I have a feeling Bo and Grogu are gonna go back down to the mines to try to find and tame the mythosaur to use as a mount, when they regroup to try and rescue Din
Never suspected I'd be crying over the death of a character like Paz! Thought he'd stick around to be a pain in Bo and Din's backsides for a lot longer. What a sacrifice play, so epic! I'm going to be bummed if the Armorer betrays them, tho. 😞
Stephen apparently doesn't appreciate dramatic timing. Anyway, somebody on the writing staff is a connoisseur of medieval romance/epic, because that "I serve you" scene was pure medieval poetry, with Bo Katan as the Queen and Din as her knight - not just _a_ knight but HER knight, who swore himself to her service. 100% some chanson de geste stuff.
That's what I thought too. It warmed my heart to see. Rick F said there was romance in these two episodes during Stars Wars Celebration when he was being interviewed at some point.
Gideon has to have a Connection to Death Watch/Darth Maul, His helmet looks exactly like the Death Watch Mandalorians from Clone Wars after Maul took over just like how the armourer does. Also that line about the best thing he’s done about Mandalorian Armour is put himself in it makes me think he’s cloned himself and those new ‘Dark Troopers’ are actually all him.
many people pointed out she could be a Zabrak the moment she showed up. ....but why would Gideon have that helmet? in honor of what? Maul? Gideon only cares for himself!
Uhhhh... Idk If she used the saber to cut open the other door, Gideon would just order the troopers to kill Din. Like strategically I don't think that would be a good idea.
@@NikkiStevenReact Wouldn't have mattered imho; if that rear door Bo cut through is any indication, it would've taken half-a-dozen seconds for even the Darksaber to cut through the other door, at least. Not to mention it'd be a small hole, with her and a very-slow-stream-of-Mandos against Gideon and a small army who have no issues dog-piling the Mandos. Doing so would've just gotten them caught at best (and it'd be suicide at worst, with the Darksaber likely taken again)... no matter how you slice it, the situation was not opportune for rescuing Din that moment Also, since Elia told Gideon about the Mandalorians plan, the Armorer would've needed to be involved in the whole adventure if she was a spy. If she was, wouldn't she have brought the wounded/weary Mandalorians with the others? And/or tried to convince Bo to call the Mandos on the fleet ships down to the surface, to make it easier for Gideon to complete the Purge? Her splitting could literally just be coincidence
@@NikkiStevenReact it's called the "fatal funnel", look it up. You don't want one point of entry going into a large open area because all troopers will just attack at that single point and it will be easier to take people out.
@@mattpryor216 Exactly, that's why a lot of fortifications, castle entrances, etc. are designed like this, they'd be doing the Imps a favor tryign to do that.
Not me snickering at Mikki’s dirty jokes with my parents in the room. I didn’t mind Bo getting the dark saber. She’s properly earned it by this point. I love the conversation about her ruling between her and Din. And Grogu in his terrible twos one minute, acting as peace maker the next. Also Gideon’s awesome armor! I wonder if the armorer is secretly a spy. And RIP Pasz. Went out like a freaking bad ass.
Favreau cleared it up in a later interview that when he mentioned "two years" he ws referring to us as an audience being away from Grogu and Din, NOT how long Grogu spent with Luke. He didn't give an exact amount of time Grogu spent with Luke but he inferred that it was relatively *very* short.
Ugh, I'm gonna miss Paz so much. I'm so upset, but also very glad that they had to pull out the special reinforcements to take him down. Also, I wonder if maybe the armorer made a deal with Gideon somehow. Like, handing over Din and/or Bo to Gideon and Gideon gives her Mandalore so she can get the Mandalorians back to the old ways. It feels like she was a little quick to embrace Bo-Katan and the other tribe. It could just be her being super understanding and wise, but I'm a little suspicious.
1. Totally agree that something feels sus about the armorer, but I want to believe because this entire series has trained us to expect betrayal. 2. Grogu... his force powers aren't that advanced. Jump and Push, and he put that one beast to sleep (but it also wrecked him). What is he to do when Din is outnumbered 30:1 and behind a blast door? 3. The dark Saber. The dark Saber is a little better than regular sword against beskar. And the blast door... that wasn't quick. If she tries melting through the forward facing door, Gideon just focuses fire on the hole and cuts them all down before they even make it through. You don't create your own bottleneck for the enemy's advantage. Tactical retreat was the only option. 4. Grogu again. We slowly been introducing more autonomy with Grogu. The buttons are silly and cute, but also give him the ability to communicate in a limited fashion. The next is, his teeny tiny little legs. I commented to myself; a few episodes ago, how Grogu is stuck in that stupid pram because of his little legs. This Jaeger gives him the ability to self ambulate and keep up. It's getting to the point that it's getting frustrating watching everyone react to him like he's a baby, when he is usually the oldest in the room.
When I saw the praetorean guards, I understood that Bo using the saber to scape the other way, made sense. Imagine getting the entire crew killed for just being carried by emotions. Paz left the most honorable way I could imagine.
if she had cut through and attacked they would have killed Gideon and those pretorians, Rey took out like 3 or 4 of them at the same time on her first day with a lightsaber
I think the good comparison this episode for Bo-Katan is Aragorn from Lord of the Rings (from books specifically). Aragorn knows it is his destiny to rule but struggles with the burden of responsibility and wonders if he capable enough to honor his birthright (movies go more to the he doesn't want it route). Bo in a way is similar. When she was young, she made mistakes and was selfish at times, but everything since then has led her to want to unify Mandalorians not just to be ruler (like her dispute about ideology with Satine) but to protect her people, and she worries about whether she has the right to try or if she is even qualified to do so.
the thing with "cutting the other door open" is: if Bo even tried that, Gideon would probably instantly give order to kill Din/Mando. or, if he doesnt, he would order everyone to fire at the hole they want to go through and without having room to evade or defend themselves, they would all get killed.
@@arobin6695 probably wants to make din suffer for all the trouble hes caused. And they couldnt all just rush in unless Bo made a massive hole which she wouldnt have time to do, so the hole made would likely mean they could only go in one at a time, that much concentrated blaster fire at that hole would make them sitting ducks
@@roronoa747 Gideon sliced a human sized whole in steel with the dark saber in like 3 seconds in the season 1 finale. Vizsla was standing there out in the open and all those troopers couldnt shoot him or take him down, the other mandos would have been fine.
So sad to lose Paz. One of my favorite characters. Fortunately he got to go out like a total boss, died on the home planet and made a legend of himself
I feel the saddest for his son Ragnar. That kid has the worst luck. At his Creed/Helmet ceremony a giant dinosaur turtle monster tried to eat him. He loses a training match to Grogu, a toddler. If that wasn't humbling enough, his dad sounds disappointed when he repeated Din's response "One does not speak unless one knows." Ragnar doesn't even get 2 minutes to sulk/reflect on the lesson when a gigantic Shreik-Hawk snatches him up and flies off with him beyond the range of their jet packs. He was kept overnight and at some point he was swallowed by the Shreik-Hawk! He was regurgitated back up and dropped into the nest as food for the babies to eat, got snatched up AGAIN along with his father and had a terrifying free fall before being caught by Din and finally returned to his dad. Now Ragnar is an orphan. That poor kid can't catch a break.
I think Bo prioritized cutting through the back door so that she could get those in the room out and get word back to the fleet about the incoming imperial forces. It's not that she didn't value Din. She just put the lives of the whole rest of the fleet first.
I think Grogu is gonna ride the Mythosaur. Also, there's a big possibility that the Armorer is Rook Kast, one of Maul's Mandalorians. Rook also had a helmet with horns.
I don't know what that creature was, but it wasn't a mythosaur. It didn't have the horns or the long face. I don't think mythosaurs had a club tail, either. Also, I don't think Bo Katan could really use the Darksaber to go forward. She would have been too vulnerable as she cut through the metal of the door. Cutting an opening in the back door put the rest of the Mandalorians between her and the enemy, so she was protected while she cleared the way. I don't know for sure that Paz Vizla is dead. Badly injured, yes, but none of their strikes were in vital organs and their weapons cauterize the wounds. Now, how he would be able to be of any help while so badly injured, I don't know. I think that if they were going to kill him, they would have done something that would make his death certain, like beheading him. I guess we'll find out, though.
I dunno, dude got stabbed in the chest (looked like a heart shot) again in the abdomen then again in the shoulder which the blade went in up to the hilt at a preeeeeeetty deep angle.
@@ColvyMolvy But he was able to keep going after the chest stab, so it must not have hit his heart. He might be dead, but I'm not going to say that he's dead for sure until they confirm it. Too many times people were thought dead but they managed to survive.
I'm more suspicious of Ax Woves than of the armorer. He took his loss to Bo pretty poorly & seemed rather acrimonious towards the other tribe. Add in Gideon knowing who has the dark saber & Woves quick exit, & it seems pretty odd.
Many have said before that the spikes on the armourers helmet reflect the horns on Darth Mauls head from when he controlled Death Watch. Many think she is a certain character from the clone wars. Also I don't think that was the actual Mythosaur in this episode but some other large creature. The Mythosaur is much deeper underground.
I think of the customs around the dark saber like the rules around Din's helmet. Rules and customs only matter when they matter, sometimes there are more important things than the rules and customs.
totally agree... they shouldn't have made the rules around the dark saber a thing this season and Din should have just given Bo the saber in S2 when he offered it
@@NikkiStevenReact Well, the issue is she took it when offered back in Rebels. It's more the fact she's unwilling to potentially repeat how things went from that time.
They hinted that Bo had earned the darksaber earlier in the season because the mythosaur presented itself to her, not Din. And it didn't matter to Din, because he has never wanted to be the ruler. It was taken from Din, and Bo did take it and defeated Din's captor. It was a far transfer, IMO.
So the entire Grogu taking a backseat this season is allegedly because he wasn't supposed to be in this season. Allegedly Kathleen Kennedy told Favreau she wanted Grogu and Din reunited in Boba Fett, which allegedly almost led him to resign. So, higher ups said Grogu had to be a part of this season, which would explain why he appears to just be hanging around.
I think there's a different feeling from the first two seasons because Favreau and Filoni had Grogu's story planned out before they even started filming, they knew he was going to Luke. Then baby Yoda had people like me tuning in (this was the first Star Wars thing beyond the original trilogy that I ever watched) and there was more heart and chemistry between a masked man and a puppet than they expected. I don't think they did a poor job pivoting, except for shoving it into Boba's show. I think that was a case of the corporate financers forcing it over the best creative choices, personally. It's a little ironic, since originally some people didn't think they'd care about a random Mando who wasn't Boba Fett.
I swear I think the Armorer is the spy, I really do. How did Gideon know that Din didn't still posses the dark saber and that Bo does? Didn't the Armorer convince Bo to gather the mandalorians to take back Mandalore? Didn't the Armorer leave herself in a position in the episode to be close to the Gauntlet and get out of harms way if need be, shuttling the wounded back to the fleet? Doesn't the Armorer wear the same style Mauldelorian helmet that Gideon does? Coincidence? I dont think so personally.
Noup, it’s coincidence. The helmet Gideon uses, it’s a reference to Maul’s mando troops in the siege of Mandalore. Also if you remembered, in season 1 she killed stormtroopers so, she isn’t on his side.
@@emilianop.colome735 just because she killed stormtroopers doesn't mean she isn't bad. I mean hell look at the girl in the beginning of the episode. She is playing undercover as if she is on the New Republics side when in fact she is still an Imperial loyalist. You will do anything to protect your cover from being blown. I guess we will see in the next episode.
The real armorer could be killed and now the convert have a false withhout nowing it. Another aspect is she could have her own agenda. But what about her endless supply of sacret water? If the planet was cursed and unhabital as she claimed.
In fairness, Season 1 was structured very similarly to this one. Episodes 1-3 focused on plot, then 4-6 focused on more "Monster of the Week" type shenanigans, then Episodes 7-8 wrapped up plot. Then the villain of the week things were used for new plots in Season 2. Feel like we could see something here, with the filler episodes being used in Season 4.
Thought it was great that Charles Baker, Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad, showed up as well. Got all excited when he took off his helmet because I recognized him immediately, lol.
Plot twist: Grogu will face Moff Gideon but... instead of using his power to crush Gideon, he presses “yes” repeatedly. It is there when Gideon realizes something is not right in Grogu's droid vehicle. Gideon can't do anything but screams before Grogu's droid explodes. Gideon then comes out of the briefing room, half of his face got blasted away. He adjust his uniform before he retired... from life. *BRAVO VINCE!*
"she bailed out at the right moment" well, she returned to the fleet hours earlier, when they still whre at base camp. I think, her bailing out, could also have been a narrative necessety, because they needed a command structure at the fleet, for when the Tie Bombers and Interceptors are arriving.
Great reaction as always! I've had quite a few frustrations with story elements this season however this episode was insanely good; I just wish that this storyline played out a little sooner to expand more on the reclamation of Mandalore. I'm also suspicious of the Armourer but I'm wondering if she's a red herring - I mean, Axe Woves left as well before the confrontation with Gideon happened so maybe it's him? Grogu's terrified face when Din got captured was so sad and Paz's sacrifice made me unexpectedly emotional. I think Grogu is going to have an important role in Din's rescue - it will mirror Grogu's rescue in S2; I think we'll see Grogu fully embrace the Force to save his dad. Also, Gideon dissing Thrawn - that's going to come back on him, lol.
I think Din waited to give her the DarkSaber so that the other Mandolorians that had abandoned her would be on board with following her as their leader because she earned it. I do think that Din did fudge the truth when he said he was defeated by his attacker which is kinda true but maybe not in strict meaning, lol. I DO think you will feel differently about the season as a whole after you finish this episode.
@@catherinesanchez1185 We know Moff Gideon is willing to sacrifice people to get his way. I believe he let those Troppers die to protect his number one asset.
The Imperial with white beard talking about Thrawns return is played by the same actor who plays Gregory from The Walking Dead! And one of the Mandos they found on the ship is Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad.
I think Din explained giving the darksaber to Bo, though, pretty well. He lost it in combat to the bio/droid, then Bo defeated the bio-droid. Thus, winning the saber by combat. I think it was done pretty well.
I loved this episode. I think Bo didn't open a hole on the other wall because they would've been sitting ducks for all those guards, I think she was trying to preserve them. I wondered why Grogu didn't do something when Din was taken, but think we're heading up to something next week.
She couldn't use the dark saber on the front door, since all those imperial commando's were stationed right their in front of them and as we saw as soon as Gideon order the door to be open they started shoot at the Mandalorians and would have killed them all. He is she tried to cut through the front door, the Commando's would have started shoot them and since they could only go through the hole one at a time, the Mandlaorians would have been easily picked off. The smart move was to cut a hole through the back door and retreat to fight again later
All these shows just help make the Star Wars universe deeper and more interconnected. Hell, Anakin's character became one of the best of all time because of Filoni's work on TCW. The Mandalorian giving more info for future events is just good worldbuilding. I'm most excited for the sequels content like Rey Skywalker's movie. All three movies announced actually. That Ahsoka show too. This season of The Mandalorian is different than the previous seasons but I've enjoyed the stories in the show. Especially this last episode. I think most episodes in S3 got me hyped for the future of these stories to see how everything came to be. #StarWars #TheMandalorian
The actor who plays Daddy Hux is the brother of the actor who plays younger Hux and they are both the sons of Brendan Gleeson (Mad Eye Mooney in Harry Potter)
Someone said Grogu probably had some PTSD when he saw Din captured. Maybe so. He now has time to think and plan his revenge in the finale. He and Bo will make a great team.
Wait, what would Grogru have done? If he lifted the door, they would've been slaughtered. If he would've force choked a couple of guards the rest could've just killed Den. And if Bo would've cut a hole into the other door, all the Dark Troopers would've had to do was concentrate all their fire at one small hole. I hate it too but I think Grogu was being smart/tactical. Love your content. Keep it up.
@@NikkiStevenReact sometimes not doing anything in the moment is the smartest move. I wouldn’t want Grogu to do something just for the sake of doing something only to wind up getting Din and everyone else killed. Action for the sake of it is not always the best choice.
The Vibro-blades are a staple for Mandalorians. Not many people outside of them carry the vibrating blades. Since they were popular among criminals, vibroblades were banned on many worlds, especially in urban areas.
When you guys watched the episode, did you noticed the scene where babu frik and grogu passing each other and babu frik dropping a f-bomb!!! It was hard not to notice but it’s there if you hear it close enough
So I thought the Armor was looking to make Din the leader of the Mandalorians but after Steve mentioned the Helmets I think he is right the Armor might be a spy. She did live through Gideon's attack on the covert. I didn't see the interview but have also heard that Grogu was suppose to be with Luke for 2 years or so before getting back with Din.
Agreed with you guys so much, especially with regards to Grogu. He force - gripped Cara Dune for arm wrestling Din but, now with more force training, doesn't do squat when Gideon is capturing Din? Just seems a bit off. Guess we have to wait and see what happens
So, regarding why Bo Katan didn’t cut the door to save Din, that would’ve meant they all had to squeeze through the tiniest of fatal funnels. Cutting the other door to escape, while not the heroic rescue we would want, as the correct move.
Grogu is a child. He also might be afraid of Moff Gideon. Grogu remembers that Gideon held him captive. I think the spy suspects are The Armorer, AXE Woves, or the dudes from the Pirate ship.
Why didn't Din give Bo the dark saber earlier? Because it had to be in front of her people - more than that it had to be her people who made the decision that she had the right to it. There's nothing magic about the dark saber - Din and his people wouldn't follow someone just because they won the saber in battle, Din says as much in this episode. It was her followers among the main-stream Mandalorians who cared that their leader win it, so it was their opinion as to whether it belonged to her that mattered. If Din had handed it over down in the caverns when she first saved them, it wouldn't have mattered - her people wouldn't have accepted it. It had to be in front of them, and by their acclaim that it was hers by right.
why would it have to be in front of people? Din didn't win it in front of anyone? would they really challenge Din for saying Bo is the rightful owner of the saber? no way
@@NikkiStevenReact He didn't win it in front of people - but he didn't hand it over to her until after the people agreed that she'd won it. To them he's an extremist and an outsider - he couldn't know that they'd accept his word until after they gave their assent. He needed _them_ to accept his story before he gave it to her, otherwise it would be pointless. And she wouldn't have accepted it from him without their agreement - she did that once before and it bit her in the ass.
that's just not good enough for me but it doesn't matter... it's not changing and like I said in the video, just got to move forward. Can't like everything and I'm fine with it... It's clearly not Din's story anymore
They should change the title of the show to Bo Katan. I love how she had to save mando from drowining because he fell in water. That was a special moment. And how she was the one who saw the mythosaur, my eyes water with such beautiful writing. I also love how grogu can seemingly understand full sentences and can do force stuff and have complex thoughts, but still acts like a baby who coos. I've never seen such great writing before. I hope ray makes a cameo before the end of this show.
You guys a re absolutely right about the armorer. I think she got turned by the Empire. I think she becomes Captain Phasma in the New Order. That's why she screamed at Finn for removing his helmet in public in "The Force Awakens". She carried over her Mandalorian beliefs into her new role.
Axe is more suspicious than the Armor. But I'm thinking both of them are red herrings and it is one of the other Night Owls that agreed to go. Plus the Mandalorians found on the planet are suspicious.
Not gonna lie, Gideon's Dark Trooper armor is BAD ASS! It'd be kind of awesome if they killed Gideon then used his armor to upgrade the IG-12 into a Mando-Mech for Grogu(I doubt that, but still). Paz went out like a true Mandalorian, fighting til the end. THIS IS THE WAY!
I think it's more likely that the survivors are the spies, that they aren't actual Mandalorians, just Imperials posing as such. Finding old Mandalorian armor to wear wouldn't be hard, and a bunch of them just got taken up to the fleet. It makes more sense that they're faking their injuries and will attempt to take the cruiser rather than the Armorer attempting some sort of thing herself. They will initially succeed, but the Armorer will take back the bridge and command the fleet to victory in space. If reinforcements from other Mandalorians were to arrive, such as House Wren, Gideon would not be aware since there's no communication from surface to space.
Bo didn’t lose the saber the first time in combat, she handed it over to save her people… so very plausible that din would hand it over for the good of the Mando community.
I've been suspicious of the Armorer for the last few episodes. Seeing Moff Gideon has horns on his helmet, made me suspect that perhaps he & the Armorer could be a couple or connected through Maul?🤷♂️
Din has no claim to the Saber once it's taken. She isn't required to take it from him. She has to take it from the next one to possess it. The creature. She defeated the creature. It's rightfully hers now.
She couldn't use the darksaber on the other door, she would have created a small point of entry for a legion of troopers to just mow down whoever came through the hole. She made the right choice.
I believe one of the theories out there is that that Armourer is the same species as Maul. That’s why her helmet is like that. Possibly part of the faction that followed Maul during Rebels.

If Din had done it sooner, would Axe have accepted Din's reason that Bo-Katan is the rightful owner?
he might as well have just given it to her at the end of season 2.

I have a feeling Bo and Grogu are gonna go back down to the mines to try to find and tame the mythosaur to use as a mount, when they regroup to try and rescue Din
Hell ya!!! This is the Mf way!
We have seen that Grogu has an affinity with animals, so this theory checks
And suddenly The Mandalorian becomes Dune.
This checks out too, since Star Wars has been borrowing from dune since the original trilogy.
how many times does Bo have to rescue Din? Would he ever be allowed to rescue her for a change? of course not.
Never suspected I'd be crying over the death of a character like Paz! Thought he'd stick around to be a pain in Bo and Din's backsides for a lot longer. What a sacrifice play, so epic! I'm going to be bummed if the Armorer betrays them, tho. 😞
Blood must be spilled for paz 😢
I had been on the fence with liking Paz for while but I was starting to warm up to him this very episode, only for him to get killed off. RIP.
is he even a character though? he's just some guy without a face or personality
Damn. That's pretty much spot on.
That's what I thought too. It warmed my heart to see. Rick F said there was romance in these two episodes during Stars Wars Celebration when he was being interviewed at some point.
ugh, Din is reduced to her sidekick, awesome.
What next?
He’ll bend the knee just like Jon snow & say my queen for entire life?Din got downgraded & sidelined for entire season.

I didn't care for him but I certainly respected him for his bravery and sacrifice.
So happy I wasn't the only one who got those vibes😂

Oh crap, I thought his wording was a little weird , but if he cloned himself this would make more sense .

Uhhhh... Idk If she used the saber to cut open the other door, Gideon would just order the troopers to kill Din. Like strategically I don't think that would be a good idea.
I mean immediately when he wasn’t alone and restrained
@@NikkiStevenReact Wouldn't have mattered imho; if that rear door Bo cut through is any indication, it would've taken half-a-dozen seconds for even the Darksaber to cut through the other door, at least.
Not to mention it'd be a small hole, with her and a very-slow-stream-of-Mandos against Gideon and a small army who have no issues dog-piling the Mandos. Doing so would've just gotten them caught at best (and it'd be suicide at worst, with the Darksaber likely taken again)... no matter how you slice it, the situation was not opportune for rescuing Din that moment
Also, since Elia told Gideon about the Mandalorians plan, the Armorer would've needed to be involved in the whole adventure if she was a spy. If she was, wouldn't she have brought the wounded/weary Mandalorians with the others? And/or tried to convince Bo to call the Mandos on the fleet ships down to the surface, to make it easier for Gideon to complete the Purge? Her splitting could literally just be coincidence
@@Omegafire17 I think she went to save the fleet from being bombed

I wonder if the armorer is secretly a spy. And RIP Pasz. Went out like a freaking bad ass.
as a mom watching Mando trying to be a dad to toddler grogu had me cracking up!
Paz went out like a BOSS!! I salute you Paz Vizsla! THIS IS THE WAY!
This is the Way!👍🏾
Legends never die 🙏
He died because of plot armor, the thickest of them all.
The horns are the equivalent of a crown most of mandalorians leaders had all kind of spikes, so small some really longue
Can’t believe Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad is a Mandolorian 😂🤘🏻
from "This is the shit" to "This is the way"
I think the good comparison this episode for Bo-Katan is Aragorn from Lord of the Rings (from books specifically). Aragorn knows it is his destiny to rule but struggles with the burden of responsibility and wonders if he capable enough to honor his birthright (movies go more to the he doesn't want it route). Bo in a way is similar. When she was young, she made mistakes and was selfish at times, but everything since then has led her to want to unify Mandalorians not just to be ruler (like her dispute about ideology with Satine) but to protect her people, and she worries about whether she has the right to try or if she is even qualified to do so.
the thing with "cutting the other door open" is:
if Bo even tried that, Gideon would probably instantly give order to kill Din/Mando.
or, if he doesnt, he would order everyone to fire at the hole they want to go through and without having room to evade or defend themselves, they would all get killed.
why didnt he just order them to kill Din anyway? one mando took out like all those troops, if they rushed in Gideon would be dead.

Legends never die 🙏 blood must be spilled for paz
Maud'Dib must call a big one from the depths.
Gideon has horns just now didn’t he thats weird
He’s def dead
@@ColvyMolvy But he was able to keep going after the chest stab, so it must not have hit his heart. He might be dead, but I'm not going to say that he's dead for sure until they confirm it. Too many times people were thought dead but they managed to survive.
@@Jethedril Probably, but I want confirmation first. I don't trust them.
Clone? :^)
I'm more suspicious of Ax Woves than of the armorer. He took his loss to Bo pretty poorly & seemed rather acrimonious towards the other tribe. Add in Gideon knowing who has the dark saber & Woves quick exit, & it seems pretty odd.
I agree. I think the armorer is a red herring and it’s him that is the traitor. At least I hope so, because the armorer is a cool character.
I was thinking it was one of the Night Owls or one of the “survivors”. They led everyone right to the ambush.
they wouldnt make one of the female characters a traitor
I would have stopped watching with no Grogu! And I don't think many others would have.😁
Ok I gotta admit Nikki’s “That’s what she said” streak had me goin lol 😆
I think it's the survivors on the boat rather than The Armourer.. they've been there the whole time and they weren't there when the trap was sprung...
And how could they have missed Moff Gideon setting up a mining operation again and all the Imperial activity around that?
I think it’s the Armorer and the survivors. Hence the plural title of the episode “The SpieS”
So cool they added Captain Pellaeon, one of my favourite EU characters.
Can Mara Jade and Talon Karrde be far behind?
He was actually added all the way back in Rebels. This is just his first actual appearance that wasn't over comms.
Yes! Plus it was her that told Din to melt the spear down that could be the only thing to affect Gideon's new fit.
Grogu will do something next episode. Heck maybe something related to the mythosaur.
I just realized Bo-Katan wasn't retreating. Moff had sent those fighters to bomb their fleet so Im thinking she was rushing to stop that.
Her “No!” made me tear up. So much emotion in that
Plot twist: Grogu will face Moff Gideon but... instead of using his power to crush Gideon, he presses “yes” repeatedly.
😂😂😂
"she bailed out at the right moment" well, she returned to the fleet hours earlier, when they still whre at base camp. I think, her bailing out, could also have been a narrative necessety, because they needed a command structure at the fleet, for when the Tie Bombers and Interceptors are arriving.
RIP Paz Vizsla, a true Mandalorian warrior!
I missed on the first watch through but after the anzellan walks by Grogu and says “no squeezing” he says “I’m out motherf*cker”😂
I have been suspicious of the Armorer since season one - in the tunnel where all the Mandalorians were killed, and she survived.
Yeah, and we know they were killed by stormtroopers . We did still see her take out troopers though
Those that remember the books - Thrawn had both clones and dark troopers. He may acquire them from Gideon next week.
Been waiting all day for your reaction
Din's clan are fanatics - their credo is "hit first, think later". Paz didn't have to die there, but he decided to do it anyway.
Keep it up.

@NikkiStevenReact ...okay, fair. He definitely could've stayed behind for a sec at least. Like the decision was hard. I feel you.
@@NikkiStevenReact sometimes not doing anything in the moment is the smartest move. I wouldn’t want Grogu to do something just for the sake of doing something only to wind up getting Din and everyone else killed. Action for the sake of it is not always the best choice.
All throughout the season Din keeps saying “I didn’t teach him that”. I think that’s building to something

When Maul had the Dark Saber his Mandalorian supporters put Zabrak-like horns on their helmets
Bingo. I noticed The Armorers helmet from day-fuckin-One.
One of the pirate Mandalorian's was Skinny Pete from Breaking Bad!
Grogu is a child. He also might be afraid of Moff Gideon. Grogu remembers that Gideon held him captive. I think the spy suspects are The Armorer, AXE Woves, or the dudes from the Pirate ship.
Necromancer = mages who summons the dead - explaining Palptaine's clone body.
The Mandalorian season 3 episode 7 Chapter 23 The Spies I'll quote Daniel Bryant YES YES YES YES Fantastic episode
She carried over her Mandalorian beliefs into her new role.

btw the ship that flew over navarro capitol was just an Arquintens-class, star destroyers are about 25 times bigger.
Axe is more suspicious than the Armor. But I'm thinking both of them are red herrings and it is one of the other Night Owls that agreed to go. Plus the Mandalorians found on the planet are suspicious.
The blades that Mandolorians carry is called a vibroblade. It vibrates with an energy pulse to deliver powerful strikes/blows.
Next episode: Grogu wearing mandalorian gear: Moff Gideon you have something I want...
Paz Vizsla death has left me broken 💔 He had an OG episode only to die at the end. That hurt my heart 😔
Bo didn’t lose the saber the first time in combat, she handed it over to save her people… so very plausible that din would hand it over for the good of the Mando community.
One of the "pirate" Mandalorian is played by Charles Baker, who also played Skinny Pete on Breaking Bad/El Camino, This is the way yo!
Season 1: "He's gonna eat me!!!"
Season 3: "He's my grandchild and if he wants an assassin mech then he shall have one."
