Din, Bo, and Grogu are going to be a family. Bo and Grogu have been getting closer and closer each episode and during this he was on her lap. The way Din professed himself to Bo and you can feel the connection in this episode.
Of all the reactors that I watch your explanation of what season three has been and the breaking of the divides between all groups within the SW Universe. Thank you for this. So many have such a negative take on this season and I think this has been one of the best forward moving seasons we've had thus far. Love your vids!!!
That scene with the Imperials meeting together and discussing Mandalore reuniting, reminded me of Palpatine saying "the son of Skywalker must not be allowed to become a Jedi"
I agree! The storytelling analysis in this reaction vid really brings it all together and is unlike any other I have seen in its insightful thoroughness and enthusiasm for how the 3-season story beats re/connect and re/unite (plot AND characters).
That was heartgrabbing and so powerful emotionally, from beginning to end... What a journey it's been up to this point, and the simple fact of imagining where it's gonna go makes it even more deeply emotional. For Mandalore !
Din is the catalyst/key. If he hadn't gone back to Mandalore, Bo would have never seen the mythosaur. He restored her faith that Mandalore could be retaken and rise from the ashes. Bo seeing the mythosuar also restored faith in the Amrorer; she could see that the new age of Mandalore was now upon them. Din was the key the catalyst for the whole chain of events unfolding. And him being taken off by himself, he will break free and take down Giddeon and his base from within.
Agreed. Bo may have moved into the foreground for much of the season, but I see that only as a function of Mandalore moving to the foreground for the season -- her story and Mandalore's are intimately interwoven, she being very much the embodiment of 'present-day' Mandalore, in particular its political situation -- and establishing her within the over-all story as a significant character in her own right (whether that be because she'll be significant going forward or because her story is coming to an en...). But for the story itself, all of it was initiated and has been pushed along at every step by Din just doin' what Din does: Everyone tells him 'You can't go back.' He goes back. He brings Bo to The Children. He gets The Children out of hiding. And Bo has very much relied on his encouragement and increasingly as confidant, in all reality the only true friend she's ever had because the only one with sufficiently sterling integrity (and a Baby Yoda by his side to be to him what he's been to her) to be completely uninterested in anything but the one thing she's been trying to figure out all along, doing what's right by The Way and by Mandalore. I mean, there's such a contrast between Din turning down Karga's suggestion that 'there's a lot of money to be made' and offer to 'settle down and live off the fat of the land' versus the shame Bo's Mandos have fallen into and even the fate The Children would be in without him, given how stubborn and earth-bound they are (they'd probably would have kept hiding in a cave in a desert until they died off). Bo's been a great character, but I don't see how anyone could say that she's not very largely just been caught up in Din's wake. Din's story, to my mind, has remained the basso continuo in which everything in the foreground's remained based.
@@jacksonjames2489 thank you, this is perfectly articulated, I couldn't agree more. I don't see Din taking a back seat, I see him being the beating heart of this story, its just the story got bigger. That speach he gave to Bo this week, about her song not yet being written, had me in tears. And one of the greatest gifts he has given Grogu is providing the opportunity to interact and learn from so many different characters without judgement or prejudice. Imagine the leader Grogu can become with such role models to mentor him - hes already starting on that journey.
As far as I saw they only stabbed him in places where there wasn't armor, on his side, side leg and next to the shoulder plate, none of them stabbed through beskar, if they did that would make those weapons stronger than a lightsaber which doesn't seem realistic
How about he learned it from Bo - he has been quietly waitching and taking everything in all season, even when he didnt feature much. He wwatched her say "Mandalorians are stroinger together" more than once. He is learning how to be a great leader from all of those he interacts with and he would never have had that opportunity without his dad
@@Omn1Media I think Grogu indeed learned this from his adventures with Din. Din just stating he didn't learn it from him is just himself being humble. Bo knows that, she smirks.
This was a great episode. I loved your chat after too. I love when reactors talk in length about the episode and bring up things that happened in other episodes that connect everything. Thank you!
You did such a good job explaining everything. While this story is becoming a lot bigger than Din, I completely understand why they're doing it and how important it was to introduce him in this world. We needed someone like him for the larger story to work. This episode was absolutely amazing
I've been thinking too, that the Empire set up a base there pretty much since the Purge. Glassed or not, Beskar is too valuable a resource to be just left. Gideon planned it all from the beginning: acquire the Darksaber, conquer & destroy all Mandalorians, glass their home world, set up underground base, start making armour from Beskar, destroy or divide any faction Mandalorian reminates, and conduct weird cloning experiments 😢. Great episode ❤👍
There's some Dune in this too, the way the guards came in was like the Sardaukar flying into rooms, and Paz's last stand reminded me of how Jason Momoa went out as Duncan.
I was waiting for a moment with Bo katan like this. Her finally accepting responsibility for the destruction of mandalore and failing her people. I definitely see her character in a different light now especially after that character development
if modded Empire At War taught me anything, a bunch of TIE interceptors and bombers can't even dream to take on an Arquintens flanked by 4 Gozanti cruisers (which are anti-small-craft screeners) plus the mando fleet has fighters and multiple Gauntlets.
Oh yeah, and THANK YOU for saying EXACTLY what I've been saying this whole season to everyone continuing this thing of how it's been unfocused and with no direction and how the writing has been bad etc. I truly don't see it that way. I do however truly see it the way you were explaining it.
@@clarebo Yeah, and I keep saying it as well. And it always turns out to be right. I don't get why so many other people just don't want to see it. It's the same with some of the mysteries and how from the moment that mystery starts, people complain that they don't have any answers about it yet, when, you know... THAT'S THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF A MYSTERY, lol I always just appreciate that there's still at least some people and reactors that DO still recognize this and point it out.
@@HIPsteHeero Haha. Man, do I feel your pain. The whole time I'm just like (*facepalm*), Guys, it's a mystery, especially for our heroes. As far as they know, the Empire's been defeated and Moff Gideon's been taken out with the trash. Of course they're gonna come back to a galaxy that they think is mostly chill after their success and of course our villains are going to wait off-screen while they regroup before being revealed. You get a hint here and there while our characters go about their business, but otherwise our villain's whole goal is to stay off-stage. There wouldn't have been much of a reveal if we knew Gideon was already on Mandalore this whole time nor any of that 'Who freed him?' speculation, which is still going strong with speculation about The Armorer. (I could be wrong, the finale could really shit the bed for the whole season, but assuming it doesn't, I've been totally baffled by how much some -- emphasis on some -- people have been pissing themselves all season long. Like, genuinely perplexed. I increasingly think it has to do with watching it as though it were an episodic tv show versus watching it more as a single movie broken up into parts. The latter allows for patience in a way the former doesn't, I think.)
I like the idea though that the Imperials want to keep Thrawn's existence a secret, as his reemergence would usher in Imperials in hiding (before the secret council is ready) and the New Republic would then take the threat of the resurgence seriously if they knew the feared and infamous Grand Admiral Thrawn was at the helm
Pellaeon is from the Legends book "Heir of the Empire" That is why his name was so familiar to me. He's basically the right hand man of Grand Admiral Thrawn. That's why!
One of the last concept art things in the end credits was not a scene from the episode. And it looks like Gideon meeting with the armorer. Or some mandalorian
I could help but think "Oh no Grogu has entered his terrible twos" when he got into the droid. This episode was really good, wish more of the season had this feel to it. Really like the relationship they've been developing between Bo and Din, the two seem to make for a great team.
Wild thought, but Gideon saying the best part is it being him in the armor makes me wonder if he’s cloning himself to put into an army of Beskar Dark Troopers. Add the fact that the subtitles call Gideon a Dark Trooper in that scene, and not by name.
That does bring up a thought I always kinda had about Gideon, going all the way back to the first season where Cara Dune remarked that he's suppose to be dead. What if Gideon was always a clone of himself? Also factor in how in season 2 he was perfectly ready to off himself rather then be taken captive, which in turn makes me wonder if he wasn't actually "rescued" from the new republic, but rather that version of him died in that attack, and they just took the body to keep this secret. At least that's my wild theory.
The huge set of B@lls on Gideon! He's like, "Yeah, we hear about Thrawn's return, but where is he??" If Thrawn were to come around he knows he would have to answer to him and be under his command. The painting underneath the Light Cruiser of the Mythosaur was freaking bad@ss!! Equivalent to a huge middle finger to the Empire. Seeing the number of Mandalorians grow through the episode got me so pumped up!! All the volunteers of the mission, even more so!! The survivors on the planet showing up and joining!! LET'S GO! The writers and directors knew we were going to be psyched and then pulled the rug and floor out from underneath us!!! They took Grogu away from Din and now they took Din away from Grogu!!! FFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By killing Paz they created a monster in Ragnar!! His reckoning in the future will be apocalyptic!! I want that to become a series!! Your review was a bit longer than usual but this episode clearly warranted it and I was stuck on every single word!! I had a feeling this episode was going to be loaded but not in my wildest dreams. See you for the breakdown video!! Take care, Omn1
When Gideon mentions that his _"security concerns"_ are Mandalorians, one of the remnant leaders says "What?" With visible shock, and another shudders in fear 🤔😏. The Shadow Council is *_afraid_* of the Mandalorians 😏. Nemik was right, oppression *is* the mask of fear 🤔😏😉😁👍!
This reminds me a lot of something Lance Reddick said about John Wick's journey on the press run for the fourth movie. The rules we follow initially come around as a way for us to preserve what makes us people. But given enough time, those rules become tradition, and at that point, we uphold them for the sake of preserving the culture, even if it means doing that in spite of ourselves. It's at that point that we need individuals who are willing to break tradition, for the sake of preserving what makes us people again. If to reclaim her leadership, Bo had fought Din for the Darksaber, it would've been for the sake of tradition in spite of their character growth
First time viewer, commenter and subscriber. Thank you for the insightful analysis. I have been saying the exact same points to this season. Din is the shonen protagonist, the reason for all of this redemption happening this season. It's true. Some fans are so myopic about the show and can't see the forest because of the trees. Or are just impatient this day and age with storytelling. Favreau and Filoni know what they are doing. Jon Favreau said this season's theme was redemption and it played out beautifully over six episodes this far, for Din, Bo-Katan, Grogu and the Mandalorians. And yes! Because of episodes 3 and 6, we got a ton of world-building for the greater Galaxy and Mandalore has gained a planetary ally in Plazir-15 - which is HUGE.
Thank you, Omni! I'm with you on this. This season has been something. It's much deeper than just action and the thrills. I loved the slow moments and the "side stories" (as how people put it) because they feed into the bigger narrative. The big events impact more because of those small moments... And though I can kinda understand the hate or the complaints, I really don't agree with them. I am happy with the decisions the showrunners have made for this show. It's actually well thought out. There are no small or random things. They always come back around. If not, they just haven't yet. I'm just enjoying this ride and watch in awe the story that the showrunners want to tell and are telling, and not linger on what whiny fans want to see. Some people complain so much that they miss the point. But as have been said, you can't make everyone happy. You're not pizza 🍕 😉
I've seen suggestions that the title of the episode may be a reference to the 12 spies that Moses sent into Canaan to scout the land as a possible home for the Israelites.
With the Biblical and Western themes The Mandalorians are based on I think that probably what the title actually meant now that you planted that seed into my head. Especially if you consider that if Bo is our Moses and discount Grogu since he was a foundling and a package deal with Mando, there were twelve Mandalorians who volunteered in their scouting team that went down to the planet and they are doing exactly what the 12 spies did. Scouting the promise land ahead to make sure it's safe for their people. The rest of the Mandos are in orbit awaiting the scouts to tell them its safe.
I mean Paz just took out a bunch of beskar trooper alone and then 3 guard attacked him at the same time, it was as far from a fair fight as I gets, I think he could have taken down 1 still judging by how he grabbed that guard , from the reaction of the other guard I think they were surprised that Paz was still going after 1 stab , I think an elite Mandalorian would 80/20% beat a praetorian guard 1on1 , the guards are op af but if they were as op almost as a force user then there would not be the need for that many
they are basically best of the best that remnants of empire could muster i would still pick Royal Guard over them but yea in group they are not to be taken lightly especially in close combat
Oh, I hope we get a Ahsoka/Luke against the Praetorians. I have a feeling it will be Ahsoka since it would be easier to film, but damn what if we got both at the same time.
Dude i think this might be the 1st of you videos that i have watched and i gotta say, i adored your way to talk about this episode, the season and the series in general. Seriously, i was atonish when you described how everything we have seen so far is connected. Im suscribing right now and check everything on your channel. Cheers man. Btw u are one of the few that is not hating the season just because and i respect that very much :))
This episode was amazing. But even more than your reaction, I appreciated your analysis of the broader themes of the season. The fact that the episodes have been titled "Chapters" in each season has been a flag, to me, of the idea that the seasons are meant to be considered as unified story arc chunks. Rushing to judge each individual episode in a vacuum to highlight alleged weaknesses while also disregarding the larger themes/points/plot threads being carried from episode to episode just reeks of bad faith, so it's heartening that you (and others) are picking up what the writers are putting down.
Amen and well-said. You're gaddamned right, 'heartening' is the right word for it. I really hope this perspective starts to disseminate more widely so that we can come back in future seasons without going through the week-to-week rigmarole of 'Well, it's lost its magic' until, when we reach the two-episode finale, after the hype's been stifled and suffocated for six weeks, videos start popping up with titles to the effect of, 'It's back' (forgetting that we've pretty much, at least to my -- who knows? probably faulty -- memory, gone through the same thing both of the previous seasons, two sets of three eps. that take their time and act like first and second acts, then a two-ep. third act finale, and also that when we come back we're coming back off the high of the previous season's climax and resolution). Like, there's been so much 'I wanted more Mandalorians doing Mandalorian shit' and it's just like, We're telling a story about the re-building of Mandalorians, we pretty much know there'll be more seasons and that this story will be inter-linked with other shows: there will be more Mandalorians; can we just sit back and enjoy the story of getting there? But, I guess, if you're not thinking of the 'episodes' as 'chapters,' as you say, in one continuously-building story, of course you're gonna be pissed if each installment doesn't have its own self-contained build-up, payoff and resolution. I don't know if Disney wants all the heat or if they've just not figured out a better way to set the frame for the viewing experience. I mean, I could be totally wrong, but for my own experience, approaching it as one long movie broken into eight parts, I can honestly say I've absolutely adored the season from top to bottom (the Pershing stuff drags a little for my taste cuz I don't especially care about the particular characters and the import of the events is -- for obvious reasons -- elusive, but narratively and thematically I think it a perfectly reasonable inclusion so I can take the story in stride and, if nothing else, just gawk at scenic Coruscant).
@@Omn1Media Crytalization of Mandalore is the some thing what happend centu res age to Tatuine and then turn to sand planet Jawas and Tuskens are original races. I agree. The season's mission began last season. We know where it is going. How, is what we are watching and it's been really fun, goofy at times, but that is Star Wars. I cannot wait for the conclusion and I am also excited because S4 has already been written.
I hope all the friends Din has made come to help him. Captain Bombardier (Jack Black's character) being a former imperial could have some insight or input to help rescue Din. If Grogu could somehow call Luke and Ahsoka, that would be awesome. Ragnar might even help to avenge his father.
You know they couldn’t get Luke or Ashoka as they’d only be redoing the season 2 finale. Maybe a bad guy winning last episode would be more of a thrilling cliffhanger.
Dude, I love how well you put into perspective just how brilliantly threaded these chapters have been. Well explained man! It’s nice to hear a voice that can appreciate the beautiful storytelling that has been going on. It takes time to tell a complex bigger story, and I feel this episode wove so many threads together in a dynamic and cohesive way.
Wowww!! Your breakdown/outline regarding the entire story philosophy of the Mandalorians, Mon Calamar, Lizzo, etc, the Galaxy was Amazing!! Well done!! 👍💪👏
PLEASE TELL ME I'M NOT BY MYSELF ON THIS! Is the Armourer working with Moff Gideon? She is the one who sent Bo to get the other Mandolorians, which would gather them all in one place. She was the one who kept preaching that Madalore was cursed, thus preventing other Madalorians from investigating themselves and enabling Moff to build a base on the planet. She also CONVENIENTLY left before the major fight. Why was SHE the one to take the injured back to the ships? Now she is in place to sabatoge the ships if she is a traitor. I hope I'm wrong in this, but I don't think I am.
I really appreciate your thoughts on the last episode and the season in general. I agree 100%. It's a slow burn kind of season. The "loophole" that allowed Din to give Bo the dark saber was just a compromise. It was the whole point of this season. The theme. Setting aside archaic traditions and ways of thinking to unite as one people. Bo was the leader they needed, and giving her the dark saber was a unity moment. It made so much sense to me. All the elements they have been sprinkling throughout the season came together beautifully in this episode. I've been loving this season. I can't wait for next week.
wow! what an amazing analysis. All of your points of unity and disunity throughout this season really brought clarity to me. YES, Din is the heart (kar'ta) of the Mandalorians with his integrity and honor. I think he is going to be tortured and his helmet removed by Gideon. Perhaps using Din as bait to pull the others back. Can't wait for the finale!
Can we take a moment to appreciate the Paz Vizla's moment of sheer badassery where he gets impaled in the chest by the Praetorian Guard's weapon, and uses the weapon to pull himself closer to the Guard, driving it deeper into his own chest so that he can get close enough for one last shot? Right at 21:23 This is the fucking way.
From my POV: One of the BEST after-reaction--summary by putting a bright spot on the connected stoylines over all seasons & chapters, including character development and big-picture-SW-lore ... WELL DONE! 🤩👍
Your insight is amazing. I check your site first after watching the episodes because of your positivity. I don't like hearing over and over again that the story is not moving forward from others, but you read so much into the episodes it's like you have a mind link with Filoni
I think it’s fairly “convenient” that the armorer left right before the ambush began. Many have theorized that she is Rook Kast, which would make even more sense now if she sells out Bo Katan
Captain Pellaeon's return and his loyalty is Thrawn is just like in legends, heck he's the only one to have the insignia of the 7th fleet on his arm. Oh and seeing Brendol Hux is also a plus played by Domhnall Gleeson's brother.
A droid that looks like an armored and armed Din Djarin--Beskar, Clan of 2 shoulder plates, helmet, jet pack, blaster, spear, machete, flame thrower, plasma shield, etc... all the bells and whistle(birds)s at Grogu's little fingertips gripping the controller joystick knob (ala Razor's Crest silver ball).
I'm glad you talked about how the other episodes tied in to the overall story. I agree, and I wish some of the other reactors would step back and realize why those episodes were also important.
I think we will see a huge coming together of all the allies Din Djarin has made to rescue Din. I think we may see Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and Luke, to name a few. I don't know, but that would be amazeballs! I also think we will see the mythisaur and Bo will be leading to rescue Din. I can't wait to see what happens!!!
11:40 Good to see I'm not the only one who got really emotional watching this scene! I thought it was really powerful, and I love the bond they've formed. I think some people think the protagonist always has to be in charge, has to be the strongest, best fighter, etc. But sometimes the role of the protagonist is to be the heart of the story.
The spy is that one Mandolorian that has been with Bo all along. Can't think of her name. But her reaction when Bo took up the Saber again... That was the giveaway.
I don't understand why people are so upset that Din isn't center stage. I see it like Andor, Andor isn't the hero of his own series, it's him encouraging the change to uplift the hope for the future. I enjoy Din and Grogu being simple characters, watching the world around them change and adapting. Din doesn't need to be the leader of Mandalore. AS long as he's helping them come together up close that we can enjoy the story, I'm happy where he is atm. I think that's a great story.
Om1 what most fans don't understand is the original EU but Filoni and Favreau do. When you don't have an understanding of that EU then you won't see Zahn's books but those that do see want to create the Mando-Verse. You did one of the best SW break downs I have ever seen, "strong force this one is".
I think the Armorer is the other spy. She's the one who got Bo-Katan to get all the other mandos together, she just happened to leave to take the injured right before this all went down, she and Gideon both have those horns on their helmets, and perhaps she's the one who taught Gideon's crew how to forge beskar.
I genuinely believe we may see Thrawn's return next week. Gideon is going directly against the plans for Thrawn, and I think Thrawn might appear and remove him from the equation himself.
I genuinely don't know how they're gonna get out of this one. Bo and Grogu could tame the Mythosaur together, maybe Boba Fett could run interference with the ships headed towards the fleet? Hard to tell right now.
Now this is what I want from a RUclipsr; empathy, an amazing after show discussion and positive in their approch to the material. A joy to watch

Your thought provoking video changed my mind about this season. Your insights are spot on.
Totally agree. Wish everyone who doesn't like the series sees this.
I agree! The storytelling analysis in this reaction vid really brings it all together and is unlike any other I have seen in its insightful thoroughness and enthusiasm for how the 3-season story beats re/connect and re/unite (plot AND characters).
I completely agree with your thoughts on Din as a character; Din has repeatedly disrupted Gideon's plans just by doing what he thinks is right.
Hearing you talk about episode 6 has now completely changed my perception of it, and now I want to go rewatch it through this new lens!
This is the Way!

I think Grogu is gonna help Bo tame the myjtosaur and they are going to go get his daddy back
I wonder how he will react when he finds out she saw the Mythosour and didn't tell him.
“And I haven’t even seen Blade Runner” welp… I know what movie reaction Omni is gonna have next
Those praetorian guard weapons met resistance against beskar but it certainly didn’t stop them. Interesting.
They are possibly made of Beskar too? I did find it interesting.
I wonder if their weapons are beskar as well, we saw in a couple of shots their weapons pierced Paz's plate, reminds me of the Beskar Spear
As far as I saw they only stabbed him in places where there wasn't armor, on his side, side leg and next to the shoulder plate, none of them stabbed through beskar, if they did that would make those weapons stronger than a lightsaber which doesn't seem realistic
@@davidkosiba624 21:20 - I thought it was going through the actual breastplate
I think only Din is rocking pure Beskar everyone else is Beskar Alloy, oh Bo's new paldron is pure from the looks of it.
"He didn't learn shit from you" lmao the way that realisation is sinking in for me 😭
To be fair, he did learn how to read a map! haha
Din: I didn't teach him that
Bo: you know, every time you say that you sound like a worse father 🤨
How about he learned it from Bo - he has been quietly waitching and taking everything in all season, even when he didnt feature much. He wwatched her say "Mandalorians are stroinger together" more than once. He is learning how to be a great leader from all of those he interacts with and he would never have had that opportunity without his dad
@@Omn1Media I think Grogu indeed learned this from his adventures with Din. Din just stating he didn't learn it from him is just himself being humble. Bo knows that, she smirks.
@@Omn1Media And he learned to never trust a pirate
This was a great episode. I loved your chat after too. I love when reactors talk in length about the episode and bring up things that happened in other episodes that connect everything. Thank you!
You did such a good job explaining everything. While this story is becoming a lot bigger than Din, I completely understand why they're doing it and how important it was to introduce him in this world. We needed someone like him for the larger story to work. This episode was absolutely amazing
Dude I always go to your page first you always have a serious and detailed explanation for everything!
The overlying theme about unity amidst division, and what happened to Paz just left me more emotional than I expected. Great episode!
Grogu acting up as a kid is everything 😂 Such a normal child parent moment. Love it!
When that council scene started I was like "Are we meeting Brendol today?" and seconds later there he is! That SOB or rather F...OB?
Oh yeah, and THANK YOU for saying EXACTLY what I've been saying this whole season to everyone continuing this thing of how it's been unfocused and with no direction and how the writing has been bad etc. I truly don't see it that way.
I do however truly see it the way you were explaining it.
They've said that before about the side quests.. they always have had a purpose in the end.
@@clarebo Yeah, and I keep saying it as well. And it always turns out to be right.
I don't get why so many other people just don't want to see it.
It's the same with some of the mysteries and how from the moment that mystery starts, people complain that they don't have any answers about it yet, when, you know... THAT'S THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF A MYSTERY, lol
I always just appreciate that there's still at least some people and reactors that DO still recognize this and point it out.
Seeing Hux’s father was crazy pants!!

@@Killerkwoi13 It’s his dad. Young dad. But dad all the same
I absolutely love they cast Brian, too 😂 keeping it in the family
Interesting that Thrawn is being dangled by Pellaeon like a carrot but the rest haven’t seen him…
I like the idea though that the Imperials want to keep Thrawn's existence a secret, as his reemergence would usher in Imperials in hiding (before the secret council is ready) and the New Republic would then take the threat of the resurgence seriously if they knew the feared and infamous Grand Admiral Thrawn was at the helm
Pellaeon is from the Legends book "Heir of the Empire"
That is why his name was so familiar to me.
He's basically the right hand man of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
That's why!
FANTASTIC ANALYSIS! RIP Paz! Bring on the final chapter!
Oh shit?!
I had the same thought
Well put! RIP Lance!!
I like how they essentially gave Grogu a suit of armour to wear. He really is a Mandolorian now!
Welcome welcome!!!
Bo said the troopers were wearing Beskar.
Edit: also, Pershing told us Gideon's plan when he was giving his speech to the New Republic.
Cool that they got Domhnall Gleesons brother to play his dad XD
Meeting the praetorian guards is one step below meeting jedi/sith. You're most likely fucked.
As soon as I saw them come out, I knew it was over for Paz. He went out like a hero. This is the way
I mean Paz just took out a bunch of beskar trooper alone and then 3 guard attacked him at the same time, it was as far from a fair fight as I gets, I think he could have taken down 1 still judging by how he grabbed that guard , from the reaction of the other guard I think they were surprised that Paz was still going after 1 stab , I think an elite Mandalorian would 80/20% beat a praetorian guard 1on1 , the guards are op af but if they were as op almost as a force user then there would not be the need for that many
they are basically best of the best that remnants of empire could muster i would still pick Royal Guard over them but yea in group they are not to be taken lightly especially in close combat
Oh, I hope we get a Ahsoka/Luke against the Praetorians. I have a feeling it will be Ahsoka since it would be easier to film, but damn what if we got both at the same time.
@@bigboycombo6342 if Ahsoka and fight together I would love it if she called him Skyguy and Luke goes what did you call me? Lol

"Grogu is now a gundam pilot."
And he is beyond newtype😈
Such a good episode, it really set the tone for the end. can’t wait for the finale.
Spot on assessment! We're so on the same page about this season! I wholly appreciate your perspective.
Jon Faverau gave himself one of the best death scenes in Star Wars. And really, who can blame him?
Yeah I got super emotional and teary-eyed when Din says he's going to follow Bo and serve her. Sweet moment.

Bro, keeping this episode a secret after Celebration was so freakin hard.
I agree. The season's mission began last season. We know where it is going. How, is what we are watching and it's been really fun, goofy at times, but that is Star Wars. I cannot wait for the conclusion and I am also excited because S4 has already been written.
Yup!
Feel like Grogu is gonna start usin the mech in tandem with the force and I'm here for it.
You hit the nail on the head by saying;"a lot of people nowadays are way too impatient", amen brother, amen!
Praetorian Guards are MY FAVORITE thing in The Last Jedi, absolutely loved to see them back!!!!
im speechless it was an amazing episode
Dude, I love how well you put into perspective just how brilliantly threaded these chapters have been. Well explained man! It’s nice to hear a voice that can appreciate the beautiful storytelling that has been going on. It takes time to tell a complex bigger story, and I feel this episode wove so many threads together in a dynamic and cohesive way.
I feel like the Armorer set them up. She conveniently left before the main trap was sprung. Just my first thought. Great reaction!
Best reaction I've seen & I so appreciate that analysis. You get this show, you get this season, you get Star Wars 👏🏼👏🏼
Like I always tell with people who are unsure about the direction of Star Wars, trust in Dave. LET HIM COOK!!!
This episode was INSANE!
wow! what an amazing analysis.
As always, excellent analysis of the episode. And even your analysis on the previous episode makes things so much clearer. People are missing so much
Captain Pellaeon's return and his loyalty is Thrawn is just like in legends, heck he's the only one to have the insignia of the 7th fleet on his arm. Oh and seeing Brendol Hux is also a plus played by Domhnall Gleeson's brother.
So excited!!!! Can’t wait to see Grogu go plum off when he rescues his dad
My prediction is we'll see Grogu in the future but he'll be piloting a droid with Mandalorian armor that looks like his father's
Now I want this
A droid that looks like an armored and armed Din Djarin--Beskar, Clan of 2 shoulder plates, helmet, jet pack, blaster, spear, machete, flame thrower, plasma shield, etc... all the bells and whistle(birds)s at Grogu's little fingertips gripping the controller joystick knob (ala Razor's Crest silver ball).
I'm glad you talked about how the other episodes tied in to the overall story. I agree, and I wish some of the other reactors would step back and realize why those episodes were also important.
Paz doing his best Sean Bean impression in this one…

din is the naruto exactly! like naruto it may be his name as the title but it is not always about him. naruto inspires and moves people like din.
Exactly what I was thinking as well.
Amazing episode! Not gonna lie, Gideon's Dark Trooper armor is DOPE! You died a hero Paz, this is the way.
great breakdown on the season. I agree with you completely.
Moff Gideon's suit is part KITT from Knight Rider. Love it.
Thank you Omni for your wonderful and detailed review of the series so far! It's the best and balanced I've heard so far!! 😊
Thank you for awesome reaction videos and your awesome reviews. I really like your Star Wars breakdowns for the Mandalorian and other projects.
congrats on actually being like the only one to guess the empire were stationed on mandalore
We've entered Grogu's terrible 52s.
Om1 what most fans don't understand is the original EU but Filoni and Favreau do. When you don't have an understanding of that EU then you won't see Zahn's books but those that do see want to create the Mando-Verse. You did one of the best SW break downs I have ever seen, "strong force this one is".
I just had a thougt.... Grogu wielding the dark saber with the IG 12, and totally kicking ass.
Best episode (so far) this season!! Loved this season! Thanks so much for thoughts and a great review!
Even the Armorer has realized that there may be a better way than the Way.
@36:27 I think the show is trying to get us to believe it’s the armorer based on clues they’ve shown us… but it’s a misdirect and it’s Axe Woves
With the horns on Gideon’s helmet I wouldn’t be surprised if he was a member of Maul’s faction or even the shadow collective
Excellent analysis, much appreciated!
