- The ADT Command Panel is ADT's best alarm system yet. Loaded with all kinds of fun features.
The Chime feature is something that almost every alarm system has had from the beginning. The ADT Command will eventually have options to change the chime for different sounds and variations but for now this is how it will sound.
Also, keep in mind that if your installer did not enable the chime on the back end for that sensor it will not actually chime yet.

Chime is annoying. I hope they give an option for a single beep instead of a 5 second ringtone every time.

right? I guess I am use to the old sound just a beeeep & now I have chime delay with the new system

I want to turn off all countdown tones and voice comands..it never made sound untill then update that happend

This does not work for me anymore. I am not able to disable the voice and tones for the buttons. Is this a firmware issue?

I recently had an ADT security system installed, and was extremely disappointed that the doorbell camera only sends “push notifications” with no sound. How am I supposed to know someone is ringing my doorbell if I don’t have my phone in my hand? Also, I feel like their should be a compatible chime box for inside the home.....Is there one???

When our doorbell is pressed there is no sound on our panel. How do we get the doorbell notification to alert the panel?
Mrs. Ross I was told they haven’t added feature into the system yet.
That is correct at this time. This may be something that gets updated with a future software upgrade though.

How do I turn the voice ("....exit now") off? I just want the beep for when I arm and disarm the system.
There's not an option for that on this panel at this time. You can adjust the sensor chime to have a voice or not, but not the voice when arming.

Yes most think it is.

How do I do it on the new pad? The woman’s voice is scary when she screams “leave now!” Please help me mute her!
There's not an option for that on this panel at this time. You can adjust the sensor chime, but not the voice when arming.
@@zionssecurityalarms9261 Thank you for replying! What an oversight but the designers, huh? My family member who I do tech support for is afraid of the voice. I've taught them how to do silent arming using the app, but it's still not ideal. Thanks gain :)
