Congratulations, my wife and I have been fishing together for 50 years. Glad your catching fish. Getting the skunk off is never bad news. And when she see "Fishy" water she will catch a fish.

Congratulations on your marriage! So cool that she enjoys fishing too. My wife and I just celebrated 12 years on 9/4. We need to see more of Carly. It's inspiring my wife to get out and join me :)
those trout were on the small size, in Scotland in our rivers you can only catch Atlantic Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout, Grayling and Eels but no one fishes for Eels here, there seen as vermin here
And the guy that was giving me a lesson on the rootbeer midge standing midstream below Norfork Dam told me, just go buy Cortland Tippit, I did and love it.
Thank you so much for your very nice videos I like it so much I’m one of your new subscriber and I will follow you always God bless you sweet people just please let me know where are you filming this videos please let me know and congratulations on your new life and wishes the best of best for you two sweet people A great thanks from Glendale California Jirayer zirrakyan
What a catch you got there. Not many new wives would want to go make a fishing video on their honeymoon. Got my wife into fishing this summer and she is hooked on it. Just had to move away from Idaho and after two weeks all I want to do is fly fish.
I never heard it before and I'm a fly tyer and instructor for Fly Fishers International. If you ever see one of those caddis mayflies, please send pictures *LOL* Oh yes, thank you for not identifying the name or location of the stream you were fishing in as it is a favorite of my brother in laws and myself.
Congrats on the wedding you two! Who would have ever guessed you'd be fly fishing on your honeymoon. Hint: If you want a happy marriage, you'd better include Carly in your videos.
What you called a "Brooke Trout", is not a trout; it is a Char, a smaller cousin of the erroneously called "Lake Trout", because they live in lakes fed by fast moving rivers. Grayling is neither a trout, nor a char. It is a species by itself. The only Salmona truta or true trout are the Rainbow and the Brown trout families and their crosses like Cut Throat and such. Dr. Ajit Thakur (USA).
At some point, I'm going to quit watching videos that feel like they have to show every trout caught out of the water. Get an underwater camera and you can release them without ever taking them out. Trout cannot breath in the air and even 10 seconds out can impact mortality rates if air temps are too low or too high.
The videos of the fish are in slow motion, but every trout I’ve caught kicks off strong. I’ve never had a trout come close to dying on me. I appreciate your concern for the fish, but rest assured, they’re all healthy and alive! 👍
@@FireflyFishing I love that you do the slow mo (thank you!)... my only concern is that without any statement to this effect, the average Joe would not know it and could easily think it is ok to keep trout out of the water for a little longer than should be done. I'm still a proponent of airless releases but I am probably overkill.
Dude get a life do you see a long fight with the fish? When you see them kick out like that ..all is good. 30 years as a guide. Re-think your comments.
@@flyman6746 Dude you are a guide - I too have fished for a long time. We get it. Beginners watching these videos don't. Get your own #@$@#$ life. Edit, you are in your 40s plus and play Minecraft... enough said.
I have fished for trout for 30+ years and there is a stack of good research out of NZ that shows 30sec out of the water decreases survival rates to around ~50%. Don't take them out of the water!!!!

That first rainbow u caught was a?? You called it a cut bow?? I've never seen rainbow with spots like that incredible!!
Correct, mix between a cutthroat trout x rainbow trout. Such a beautiful wild fish!

Dacă ați putea pune și în română ar fi minunat ❤
It would be nice if you told us the stream where you were fishing. If thousands of people drive past, its not a secret now right?
How did you like the rocks. Been there
😊
Loved them!
I’m buying some Cortland line right now.

I don't think i would ever attempt to fish in montana. Ive heard many people say that it is a very racist state 💀
