Watching from South Korea. I just came back from a 100km trip along the West Coast. I love adventures like this. I have canoed all the big rivers of South Korea except the one going into the Capital city. Not allowed there as it is the water supply. Some of those rapids did not look so bad. I love rapids but never alone. Always share the wildness with another professor. Thanks for sharing. I guess your Kevlar Canoe in really light. I use an Pld Town Tripper Canoe. To heavy to portage far.
Thanks so much!! ME too... I'm already starting to get the adventure bug again.., but need to keep it in check for now.. some "real life" stuff to handle now lol :-)

Awesome! Thank you my man!!! And greetings from the UK! Hope Thailand treats you well, I wouldn't mind adventuring there sometime!! Thanks for watching it fully ! Take care buddy
Another amazing trip Eze. I have watched hundreds of videos from Canadian canoeists. What a beautiful country. I would love to visit one day. There is nothing like it in the UK. The best I have had for solitude was kayak camping on Loch Morar earlier this year when I never saw another person for 4 days. Enjoy your all your videos. Excellent quality and some awesome adventures. Keep it up.
@@EzeAdventurer I recommend it. I never found a campsite I was happy with, sand or stone usually, but there is a bothy at the head of the Loch. I was windbound for a while as the hills act like a wind tunnel and it gets very choppy. I was battling white tops. There is a portage to Loch Nevis to make a bigger journey. Loch Morar is the deepest loch in Scotland and I was surprised by how quiet it was. There is no phone reception so you are on your own. Would make a good UK trip for you. Nothing like Canada though............
Wow! I am so elated that you chose this part of Wabakimi! I took the exact same route up the Nemo back in May ‘05 and it looks as if nobody but you has been there since. With limited quality topo maps our route was never set, but the map you have is so much more updated and even the small lakes now have names (eg. Beaver. We named it Vindaloo Lake after what we ate that night) Even the one site we established from scratch back then is now on the map as well. You also got lost where we almost did, back then we piled a small inukshuk which unfortunately seems to have fallen. The water levels were also much higher in spring making it easier to navigate and also not as buggy, but cooler temps and just as rainy. The pristine wilderness and fishing seems to be just as outstanding as it was back then. All I have is early 2MP digital photos from back then so thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart for documenting this route in such an immaculate quality documentary.
Wow thank you sooo much for sharing that detailed experience with me, I appreciate it greatly!!! Wonderful area, your trip must have been magical too :-)
@@EzeAdventurer from Granite Lake we took the river north to Wabakimi Lake then south east through Smoothrock and out at Little Caribou. If I ever get back up there I would love to travel the Brightsand, although I could spend a lifetime exploring the rest of it. It’s an enormous wilderness. Thank you again for the video and I look forward to following along in all the adventures to come. (p.s. love your bracelet. I wear the same one, so-to-speak!)
I love your stuff, it's truly inspiring. Have you thought about maybe releasing something like this in smaller chunks over a few weeks? The algorithm would love you for it and it might be more accessible to a whole new audience.
Thanks so much! I did, but the algo seems to like the longer format videos for me at the moment.. my Patagonia series didn't do well in "little bits" but the entire "movie" format did really well.. the algo is weird like that lol
hahaha thanks so much!! It's hard to remain cranky in such a beautiful place... and you know there's simplicity in what you're doing.. you just gotta do it... and it becomes easier than when you have a choice.. like at home "should I work out now?" you know? :-)
Love to see and hear the Loons...reminds me of my youth!! If I could cook fish like that, I would eat them every night!! Thoroughly enjoy you're adventures!!
What a test for you. Had the same thing happen to me with a tarp camping at 10,000 feet in the Montana Mountains when a thunderstorm with gusty winds blew in. Glad I had my tend set up in as well to retreat to, it did way better against the wind. Not sure I trust just a tarp unless it is pitched perfectly.
So it seems like 80% of the time with rain, wind, mosquitos, black bugs, portages …. And 20% enjoy the good views….because rain around every turn. There are some amazing views.
I'm lost for words, what an adventure i have just been on with you, soooo professional, how far you have come on since i watched your earlier canoeing adventures,I see your future right here in this video may it long continue and I would love more off this feeling you given me,think its going to be tuff for me to go back into my 9 to 5 life,👍

hahaha you need a break to recover after this ! Gld you enjoyed that matey
Amazing video Eze! Such an incredible adventure and incredible quality video🎉
Thanks buddddddddyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Adventure in it's purest form... like our lake district hikes in the rain... Will have to visit NZ some day to do an epic pack rafting trip there.
Man this is hard work to create videos. I appreciate it. I wouldn't have stayed so calm with the bugs and said f this and go home.
I appreciate that! You get used to the bugs eventually lol!
Eze I enjoyed viewing your trip through your perspective.
Your filming and drone shots were spectacular. I’m now subscribed to your channel looking forward to seeing more of your trips.
Awesome, thank you and thanks for the sub!!! Really appreciate it!
Awesome show, very inspiring. I'm going to camp with my kayak. I love getting out. That is a BIG CHALLENGE.
thanks.
You can do it! Enjoy your adventure!
Absolutely brutal trip in some places there! Your attitude is inspiring Eze!
thanks Legend!
Subscribed, music composition, and visually stunning. Thank you, new friend and best regards. CC
Thanks for the sub and glad you liked it, especially the music which can be tricky for some to accept :-) !
@EzeAdventurer I thought your music selections were perfect for the visuals.
Wabakimi is on our next trip list. When your not out canoeing, watching your videos are the next best thing. Just 1/2 hour into it and I can’t wait to go. Hope you share the route you followed at some point in the video so we can use it as part of our planning.

Thanks for sharing this with me, wow sounds like you have done some amazing canoe trips, would love to visit one day!
Thanks for sharing this and your resiliency and dedication. So entertaining!
You're welcome, I appreciate your comment!
what an awesome trip so glad you let us join you. looking forward to the next adventure eh
Thanks so much!! ME too... I'm already starting to get the adventure bug again.., but need to keep it in check for now.. some "real life" stuff to handle now lol :-)
Hello from Thailand! Took me 3 days to finish it but it was EPIC! Loved the storm part lol. It was perfectly timed to make this content even more epic. Hope to see more of your adventures. Wish I could experience this great outdoor myself.
Keep it up.
That's v good going getting 4 days of solitude in the UK, Loch Morar looks beautiful!
@@IanPalmer-nv6pg Thanks mate appreciate it! I know it's hard to compete with the vast wilderness of Canada, but I love Scotland and it's in my heart!
@@EzeAdventurer I think I would prefer midges to black fly and mosquito😁
@@placidpaddler yeeeeyyyyy!! Am Israel Chai my brother!!!
Que lugar mas espectacular, y que decir de tu viaje... Felicitaciones, muy buen video, lo vi entero.
gracias !! que buenoooo
@@EzeAdventurer lol....shows what I know. Look forward to the next one!
@@Trenchfoot1 No worries, I've had those thoughts too before!
Perfect personality for these videos and these adventures. I don't know how you weren't cranky as hell with all those portages.
hahaha thanks so much!! It's hard to remain cranky in such a beautiful place... and you know there's simplicity in what you're doing.. you just gotta do it... and it becomes easier than when you have a choice.. like at home "should I work out now?" you know? :-)
Thankyou so much. I love your videos, can't wait for the next adventure 😊
Thanks for watching!!
You lucky Dog! So excited for the new adventure :)
Thanks!
@@EzeAdventurer Loved it! 1:47:02 last knife sighting. Hope you get it back some day!
@@iowawizkid1 Good point! You know the knife may very well have been left in that portage... as I cleaned the fish.. !
Love to see and hear the Loons...reminds me of my youth!! If I could cook fish like that, I would eat them every night!! Thoroughly enjoy you're adventures!!
Nothing better than the sound of the loons!! The fish was INSANELY delicious... makes me hungry now just thinking about it!!
You really make some very interesting trip. So beautiful nature and landscapes you got there 😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks so much!
Always great to watch your videos. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Glad you like them!!
Good stuff!! It's all part of the experience, yours sounds epic too!
😎 mornings veiwing set 👌thanks for taking us on your adventures mate 👍 your fried fish looked class 🏴
the fish was insanely delicious, the morning views so serene!
@@EzeAdventurer looked it eze mate 👌 look forward to the next one stay blessed 🙌
Thank you for this adventure, really enjoyed, from Australia ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Love back to Oz!
Awesome video! Love the nature. Great trip. Very good film-making. Inspiring! Thanks from Sweden
Thanks so much!! Gotta visit Sweden some time for an adventure up north!
Truly Out of this world..❤ ..And thank you 🎉
Thanks Pat!! I appreciate that greatly!
Great story Eze, and very fine filming! And for next trip, remember the rule for knives in the wilderness; One is none, two is one! 😉
Thanks for the tip, I like that one!
This is a crazy video man! Absolutely love the content!
Appreciate it greatly thank you!!
So it seems like 80% of the time with rain, wind, mosquitos, black bugs, portages …. And 20% enjoy the good views….because rain around every turn.
There are some amazing views.
That looked like an epic trip Eze.. Thanks for sharing it with us. Take care pal
Thanks brother!
Absolutely love your adventures - and your style!🍻 Thanks for sharing.
So happy to hear that! Thanks so much for commenting
Your best trip yet - great effort!!!
Thanks a lot! Means a lot to me!
Very enjoyable to watch. Yes sir, yes sir :)
yessssirrrrrrr!!
Amazing. Thanks for this, lovely watch.
Thank you too!
I'm lost for words, what an adventure i have just been on with you, soooo professional, how far you have come on since i watched your earlier canoeing adventures,I see your future right here in this video may it long continue and I would love more off this feeling you given me,think its going to be tuff for me to go back into my 9 to 5 life,👍
Thanks so much for the kind words buddy! I really appreciate the support!!
I hear you re 9-5... routine and monotonousness is something I still struggle on daily basis in the "city life"... but these adventures are my lifeblood.. they bring me back.
Stunning footage and an amazing adventure. Love the fishing aspect. Makes me want to skip a season looking for fires so I can do something similar.
Legend that's so cool, where you based? Your lookout must be in a very peaceful and beautiful place I imagine...?
Finally got time to get into this one, it's been sitting on my to watch list but I didnt want to start in case I didn't have time to finish this 3 hr epic!!😅
Amazing intro, great angles and that first thunderstorm , they hit so quick up there eh? Fast and frequent!! You're a brave man for not bringing any fuel up there for cooking 😅.
Now it's time to sit back and enjoy the rest of this !
10 kilos of camera gear ... 1 pair of trousers 😂... Sounds like how I pack too
LOL right??!?!?!
Thanks my man, hope you enjoyed it, looking fwd to yours whenever it comes :-)!
Beautiful Eze! Another great spot to camp in Canada is the Barron Canyon in Algonquin Park. Highly recommend it, as the scenery is beautiful. I hope to visit the Wabakimi myself one day!
Thanks for the tips, will have to check that out! I also hope you get out there and experience the Boreal for yourself in its full raw state !! :-)
