I'm so happy you've finally brought in Seether. Now you must go down the rabbit hole. "Rise above this", "Fine again", "The gift", and "The Truth" are all songs you should do... among many others. This band got me through some of the darkest times of my life.
Linkin Park - Given Up. You won't find a more emotionally intense song. As someone who has struggled with suicidal thoughts for 20+ years (despite many successes) this song always hits so damn hard.

If you want another great emotional female singer look into early flyleaf if you have not already. She sings a lot about her struggles. Loving what you do, it really helps. Keep well and thank you. I would choose "arise" but there are many great songs.
@@riptideL Lacey Sturm is excellent. I saw Flyleaf in 2006 when they opened for Rob Zombie. 3 rows from the stage given there weren’t many folks at the amphitheater that early.

A great song with a follow up from the end of Amy and Shauns relationships with Call Me When Your Sober by Evanescence. It ls like two songs, covering the two sides of a relationship.
This is my and my husbands wedding song. Everyone said we were nuts for choosing a song that was sad (bc Shawn and Amy had broken up) but we thought it fit beautifully. We had both experienced parental loss early in life and this song feels like it acknowledges pain and personal weakness while realizing that together you are stronger. Maybe I’m just an optimistic person but this song shows hope for the future.

Please explore seethers discography, I've been a fan of the band since they were unknown playing in pubs and clubs here in south africa. Shaun Morgan's writing is the reason I'm still on here. I relate to all his lyrics and I'm the same age of him. So yeah, seether don't know it but they are the reason I never went full suicide.
Reminds me of when my daughter was 4 and I got stationed overseas and couldn’t take my family with me. Absolutely broken. Ended up being 2 years. I still regret it 25 years later.
From I-Am-Reclaimer: @bennettmatte Hey Friend, I'm sure as a father that's a knife you've never been able to pull out. The resounding pain that's been burried deep inside....25 years ago.... when you couldn't do anything about it other than surpressing it. To live with that constant pain must have been like going through life, being there for your daughter/family, thinking about that in the back of your head. It reminds me of the Zen Parable, Two Monks and a Woman... A senior monk and a junior monk were traveling together. At one point, they came to a river with a strong current. As the monks were preparing to cross the river, they saw a very young and beautiful woman also attempting to cross. The young woman asked if they could help her cross to the other side. The two monks glanced at one another because they had taken vows not to touch a woman. Then, without a word, the older monk picked up the woman, carried her across the river, placed her gently on the other side, and carried on his journey. The younger monk couldn’t believe what had just happened. After rejoining his companion, he was speechless, and an hour passed without a word between them. Two more hours passed, then three, finally the younger monk could contain himself no longer, and blurted out “As monks, we are not permitted a woman, how could you then carry that woman on your shoulders?” The older monk looked at him and replied, “Brother, I set her down on the other side of the river, why are you still carrying her?” ----------------------------------- We all go through times in life that lead us to hold onto things better left “on the other side of the river” and yet we still carry them and only hurt ourselves. What are you still holding onto that is better left? I hope this helps you put this in perspective and allow you to heal through this....so you may be able to use that energy for those you care most about. Stay strong, brother.
From FurnaceFest_Fans: @bennettmatte We all feel pushed into a corner at times, having to make impossible decisions that while for the greater good, causes pain in the end. You have done the best that you can given what you had and knowing what you did at the time. There is no shame in that and accepting is the first step toward true freedom. Military life is hard, harder than most would ever know, but it doesn't last forever... Things always do get better, keep your head up... Upward and onwards soldier! Don't miss out on your current blessings because of past curses. Much love
From FurnaceFest_Fans: @bennettmatte I'm sure you have heard "thank you for your service" a 1000 and internally you thought "if you only knew what it cost me." If you regretted it for 25 years I'm sure you have given your family 100% of what you have every day and that is what counts. Always give what you have and you will give more than most. Nightwish. Most people start with Ghost Love Score (most reacted video in RUclips history), however The Poet and The Pendulum fits this channel perfectly
I used to listen to this song all the time when I was deployed with the US Military .... we kinda choose to go away in support of our country in order to support our families .... and we say goodbye never really knowing...
This is one of those songs that when it came out I played on repeat 2 to 3 times a day. The Gift was a heartbreaker if you understand what’s the song is about. Pass Slowly as a father brought me to tears cause is the reality of parents on modern times. Seether really touched some nerves on me on the 2ks. Of course my playlist is incomplete if I don’t include Seether, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Skid Row, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper, Steelheart She’s Gone song, my favorite new generation metal, and independent cover band called Liliac. So much more since I’m a big fan of musical diversity. I can hear anything as long as is not reggaeton, hip hop, or most rap songs. Classical is the heavy Metal of refined people 😂. That’s why when is mixed with metal it completes each other.
I think "Blurry" by Puddle of Mud would be interesting to see you react to. It's one that helped me survive the process of fighting for my son, and I'd like to see your breakdown of the song
Wow. I own one Seether album...which is common with my AuDHD. I tend to only listen to ONE record by an artist over and over again. Usually. It's just how it usually is. I have Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces and I LOVE IT! It has a nice amount of anger. I prefer music with laughter or anger. I contain sadness already. If I need to release it I prefer scripted content like Field of Dreams. A beautiful film about regret and healing. Kevin Costner says, "Dad?" and the floods begin. I can barely even THINK about that scene and I tear-up.
I love this song, great harmonies of Shaun and Amy, and n interesting backstory to the song, right? You wouldn’t think of it when you listen to it and / or watch the video. Seether have another great one, an amazing cover of “Careless Whisper” from George Michael with an interesting story as well why Shaun covered it 😊
That's another reason that music is so much more than just that because it allows and helps to channel so much people may otherwise not know how to express... they can hear a song that resonates and be like yes that's it that's exactly how that feels how could I not find the words to explain..and writing likewise is the same when you can't get the words out in conversation for fear of being judged or not understood freeform writing just channeling thoughts.
I'm glad that you reviewed Seether's song Broken. It's one of my favorite Seether songs. Please, can you do a review of Seether's new album The Surface Seems So Far? To me, as a long time Seether fan(since2005), this is the most emotionally deep album Seether ever did. Keep rockin' 🤘🏻 ❤️ 🤘🏻
Gotta love RUclips! Stumbled on this series of videos and am hooked! Can i make a suggestion for a future analysis? Love the song 'Release' by Pearl Jam and in particular this live version - "Pearl Jam Live from Rome, Italy June 26th 2018". This song hits home because my father passed 12 years ago now.... "i'll wait up in the dark for you to speak to me. I'll open up, Release me..." The yearning in Eddie's voice is so poignant. Thanks and keep up the work you are doing!!!
This song hits home because Amy reminds me of a woman that I dated right after college and I was obsessed with Thomas Jane’s Punisher. I should have married her but 20 years later she has a family and I am single. Funny how life works out.
Note the broken Umbrella Corporation (Resident Evil) umbrella at the start? (in the foreground at 0:18 your video time).... implying that a corporation was good at (helping) breaking things? Shaun leaving his daughter behind for a tour and then Amy & Shaun breaking up? "Paradise Valley" is a slum! Have a look at Evanescence "Call Me When You're Sober" for more of this other story.
Oh my dear, you have to do Halestorm featuring Amy Lee - Break In. Not sure if you have done Halestorm but Lzzy Hale is fire. Check out I Am The Fire and I miss the misery.
Great reaction to the video, their both great artists. On a side note I strongly recommend checking out NIGHTWISH and their 2013 live performance of GHOST LOVE SCORE at Wacken
they filmed down the street from my house when i was in highschool i ended up riding by on my dirtbike while they were there but this whole album was a bangwe
From Fyrefly: @mikedale5957 I'm so sorry to hear that you're dealing with so much pain. It can be overwhelming and exhausting! I can only imagine how much it could be affecting your day-to-day life, so please try and show yourself the kindness and care that you deserve. Pain can feel so isolating, making it difficult to connect with others, or even find a moment where you feel it's not weighing you down. I hear you and see you and in this moment you are not alone and are supported.
From ncis38: @mikedale5957 Hi there friend, I’m glad you reached out to us at HeartSupport. I am so sorry to hear all of the pain you are feeling - it sounds like a lot and that it’s really impacting your life. Pain is never an easy feeling - it is heavy and draining and it can manifest in so many ways. Often we don’t even know the exact cause of the pain, and it can feel overwhelming and like it might never end. But trust me, it will end. Also, sometimes feeling pain can make us appreciate the happy and positive times in our life even more, even though it might be hard to find them - if we harness that pain the right way and try not to let it take over our whole lives and well-being. You will get there in time. It might take trial and error to find what works for you and how to cope with all of these emotions and struggles, but you are strong and capable and you can do it. We are always here at HeartSupport if you want to talk more about this! I’m wishing you all the best ok this journey, and please be kind and patient will yourself.

This song hits home because Amy reminds me of a woman that I dated right after college and I was obsessed with Thomas Jane’s Punisher. I should have married her but 20 years later she has a family and I am single. Funny how life works out.
Other great female vocalists from bands I've listened to are Flyleaf, Icon For Hire, Evanescence (obviously) Halestorm and In This Moment.
Never stop before the breakdown without backing up 10 seconds to bring the build up back up after you are done talking
Help by papa roach is a really great song. It embodies me
Great song. Love the series. Would love to see you react to some ADTR, especially something like 2nd Sucks.
Great reaction to the video, their both great artists. On a side note I strongly recommend checking out NIGHTWISH and their 2013 live performance of GHOST LOVE SCORE at Wacken
they filmed down the street from my house when i was in highschool i ended up riding by on my dirtbike while they were there
but this whole album was a bangwe
Amy Lee Is Always My Crush! 🔥❤🔥
I’m Dealing with a TON of pain!
From ncis38: @mikedale5957 Hi there friend,
I’m glad you reached out to us at HeartSupport.
Pearl Jam - Jeremy music video is a must.
I scrolled through the responses and didn't see anyone post it but the mother of his daughter is Amy Lee.
