Jchathe idk a lot of people’s faces get wider with age so it’s hard to say if it’s just normal aging or surgery to me. Either way she’s still beautiful

They only really liked each other because they got smart a few seasons in. If it wasn't for David Schwimmer, that show would have tanked. Not because of his acting or character, but because he was a lawyer and knew that the success of the show stood on the fact that they would all negotiate their contracts in the same room and get paid the same thus avoiding a "Chrissy" incident like in Three's Company. It worked, and now we're talking about it decades after the show on a comment section in the ether of the internet.

Imagine us in our 30s and 40s now, and back then we saw these people week by week, episode by episode. We were teenagers and others were in early 20s at that time. We grow up with them for 10 years 💔

@@incognito9718 The strangest thing is when you get to be older or around the age they were when the show finished. Growing up as a preteen watching the show for 10 years and then living through the ages depicted in the series. It just feels surreal sometimes to see how much time has passed for them and for ourselves.

In the special, the producers made a really good point about why they won't revive the show or do a scripted special. That right there. Because in order to have a show, you need problems to arise, and they didn't want to do that to any of those characters. The audience wanted its happy ending, and we got it. Although it's a bit of a shame they couldn't take a page from the old-fashioned series like the Dick Van Dyke Show. Couples can run into external issues, they don't have to threaten the core relationships, just be annoying and funny. That's what in-law stories, bad bosses, and annoying commutes are all for. "Seinfeld" ran for nine years without anything altering the core friendships; they even made a point about that in the ill-received series finale. (In retrospect, it was a brilliant concept that got trashed because we all wanted to see Jerry and Elaine get back together. But Larry David was genius as usual, and bet on the reality that most people don't change very much.)
Everything doesn't have to be about cheating on one's spouse or dying. Especially in a comedy.

jennifer aniston always seemed like she would be the one to hate to talk about friends since she was tired of rachel and wanted to end the show (in good terms though) but in every single interview i've watched of ther she always gives every single little detail about the scene/shoot they talk about i think she is a true fan of the show
she never wanted to end the show, she said it's inevitable pain to film the last episodes
Jennifer seemed the most upset. If you watch all the bts from the last episode you can just see her in tears throughout.
I’m sure any actor would grow tired of playing the same character for ten years but I think Jennifer genuinely enjoyed working in the show and the friendships she made with the entire cast and crew, which is probably the thing she loved the most about being on Friends.
Lisa Kudrow will forever be 100% ‘Phoebe’ for me even if she’s not playing a character. Jennifer Aniston is about 70% Rachel

These actors are talking about work. But, because of the Corona Virus lockdown, now actors have become more open and let their guard down on the internet (not subject wise, but in trust and comfort). These are the sides of celebrities that we fans always wondered about because we usually only see the rehearsed guarded persona of the celeb on a talk show interview. This is not that. This is two friends hanging out and talking. That is what we wanted to see all along. Now suddenly many in Hollywood are letting us see the real them, and It's special.

It's naive to think this way. This, like all interviews, was prepped ahead of time. They may be friends but the fact it was posted on YT meant there were precautions taken so nothing could be wrongly perceived. Plus you can tell it was edited out and that Jen has someone off camera. Quite possibly her PR agent

For a very good reason, actually. Christina Applegate was a huge sitcom star on Married with Children when Jennifer got her big break on Friends, whereas prior Jennifer had only been in the movie Leprechaun, where her acting style is completely different. Courtney Cox had more TV experience also, being on a sitcom with Michael J Fox before Friends. So Jennifer Aniston basically admits that early on she modelled her performance on both Christina and Courtney's comedy styles and eventually developed her own. Then you had Kaley Cuoco, who modelled her Penny in Big Bang Theory on all three of them, which she's also admitted. Everyone borrows!
I always search for Friends bloopers with Lisa's laugh in it. It's so contagious.
Bravo! To be honest, I watch Friends in 2020 and I found great joy in watching each episode. I almost finish them now. I love all the characters! So wonderful in finding them in this recent show. Rachel and Phoebe are still very good looking! Really love them!

And we grew just look the show. When I’m suffering with anxiety or depression there isn’t anything that competes with friends.
